Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer
Chapter 1285 - 510: Son of the Sea God (2)
It seems there really is such a being, it should be that hidden Son of the Sea God.
"Then what kind of existence is he?"
Even now, controlled by Lucilia and turned into a doll-like soul, it showed a hint of fanaticism.
Even the soul began to exude a slight Abyssal influence, then started to speak: "It is the dark filth of the deep sea, the black contaminated flow of the deep sea. It is the existence that grants us power. Under his lead, we will eventually sweep the world with the darkness of the deep sea."
Classic Evil God belief theories, I must say, the names of these so-called gods and the various beliefs are all the same, with no novelty at all.
"And you, have you ever seen your Divine?"
Hearing Matilda’s question, the soul regretfully shook its head.
"No, only the true Black Sea Warrior and Dark Stream High Priest can meet the Divine and receive the Divine’s blessings."
"Are the Black Sea Warrior and Dark Stream High Priest you mentioned on the island?"
"No, they have led the warband to attack other ships, the Divine has issued a decree, it is time to begin sweeping the world.
All those heading for the World Scar are our targets for interception."
Hearing this, everyone fell silent.
It seems the influence brought by the demonic gatherings at the World Scar isn’t just affecting the World Scar. The Endless Sea, all those hidden Evil God beliefs and various demons and monsters have all exposed themselves.
Taking advantage of the fire is only natural.
Let alone the fact that this offspring of the Divine is an Abyss-tainted existence, essentially counting as half an Abyssal creature.
"How much force do you have left on your island?"
"There are less than 50 Deep Sea Warriors on the island, the rest are injured, or tribesmen unable to fight."
Answered with remarkable clarity.
"When will the main force return?"
"According to the previous decision, it’ll take at least another week."
Hearing this, everyone exchanged glances; this was an excellent opportunity.
They then inquired about some island details and whether there were any ambushes or traps, practically extracting all information regarding the island cleanly.
"We will launch a direct assault on the island," Alka said.
Since they are a group of Evil God worshippers, it’s not just as they thought before, a band of part-time pirate ruffians; instead, it should be totally annihilated.
They even count as Matilda’s enemies.
There was no longer anything to worry about; it could be cleaned up directly now as they possessed absolute power.
Then those few pirates on the deck were immediately slaughtered and thrown into the sea.
Staining the surrounding sea red.
Clouds enveloped them, quickly concealing from the sky, and moved towards the island ahead.
The Sound of Dawn remained on the sea surface for a while before slowly following behind, causing those pirates to imagine it was their own people who succeeded.
Due to their speed, Alka and his group next reached above the island, observing it through the clouds.
The entire island was now in a state of alert; everyone was armed, including not just the regular combatants but also some wounded, women, and even children.
Even children held weapons, alert and wary.
To call it wary would be better described as a bloodthirsty carnival, not fearing unfamiliar ship assaults but considering how to ascend and slaughter.
Impatience was evident.
Alka lay in the cloud layer, blinking as he thoroughly observed the island.
Besides the central Tower of Trial, Alka didn’t find any other threatening presence.
"Prepare to engage."
As the words fell, everyone rushed out from the cloud layer, descending into the enemy camp.
The sudden assault startled these pirates.
Who could’ve anticipated that the enemy would descend from the sky, landing directly amongst their ranks?
"It’s the enemy! Attack together!"
With large numbers, the pirates’ blood boiled instantly, and they crazily began attacking subsequently.
Perhaps because of the sheer numbers here, their Abyssal influence mutually affected them, blood-colored patterns, and scarlet pupils manifested on their bodies.
Even the children were so imposing; the Wind Demon had clearly been profoundly affected by the Abyssal influence, deeply ingrained into the marrow.
Each looked like a villain.
Facing these children, there was no mercy.
Under their assault, these frail and sick could hardly resist.
The only strong one was a pirate with Fourth Stage strength holding a Holy Grail Level Treasure.
He was likely left here specifically to guard the camp.
Under focused attacks, he was eliminated by the airborne Alka first.
He didn’t even have time to see the enemy’s appearance clearly.
As they were slaughtered wantonly, these pirates finally realized something was wrong, the Abyssal-induced fervor faded.
The pirates were scared breathless, some collapsed in terror, while others began fleeing in all directions.
In barely over ten minutes, all pirates on the island were slaughtered.
Leaving only a ground littered with corpses exuding Abyssal influence; even now, the Abyssal influence was still gathering.
Everyone had bloodstains, warily watching the congregating Abyssal influence.
Some twisted corpses began to stand up.
"Since when did the Abyssal influence take up the job of raising undead too?" Alka couldn’t help but say.
The twisted Abyssal influence manifested a necromantic power, each corpse standing up again.
