Chapter 1568: Chapter 503: Pisces Leaves, Taurus Arrives

The misty journey is finally coming to an end. This time, surprisingly, there were no dangers encountered. Except for the arrival of Pisces, Wen Xishu almost never entered a state of combat.

After Pisces left and they traveled for another two hours, the thick fog noticeably thinned. Once the visibility increased, the majestic outline of the arena in the distance already appeared in sight.

Unlike other territories, Taurus territory does not have a city that large.

But this enormous arena is absolutely beyond imagination.

Because of the distance, Wen Xishu feels as if he’s looking at a massive mountain range from afar; the arena seems to be a hundred meters tall.

He’s unaware of what the interior might be like. Yet he can faintly see that super giant gate, reminiscent of the realm of giants found in Western fantasy literature.

Such a magnificent arena makes Wen Xishu somewhat curious about what events are held inside.

This is also the first time Wen Xishu has truly, genuinely come to the territory of a constellation.

The five big words "Holy Arena," each dozens of meters high, are embedded at the top of the enormous bronze gate.

Outside the bronze gate, there are also two bronze guardians that look like colossal bronze statues.

In Wen Xishu’s view, the forty-meter-tall original Ultraman is probably only half the height of the bronze giant.

The mist grows increasingly thin.

When Wen Xishu discovers his feet already tread upon the red road, the fog has completely vanished. Looking back, there’s a vast sea of white mist.

If the Daedalus hadn’t been leading the way ahead, the action of Wen Xishu looking back would have already exposed his situation.

But Yuan certainly noticed. However, Wen Xishu knows that Yuan is already aware he has an independent consciousness.

Yuan seems indifferent.

"This place, coming here is a mystery, and leaving, too, is an uncertainty..."

The power of the fog is so strong that even the Mechanical Race loses their sense of direction. Only Yuan has the means.

Wen Xishu is now facing a very troubling issue.

He must thwart Taurus, prevent his Divine Dawn’s insidious ambitions from causing catastrophe.

He must reclaim his physical form and destroy the Mechanical City...

For the latter, he has a plan, but must first return to the Mechanical City.

In other words, he now has three days,

but in these three days, he has to defeat Taurus and Yuan.

This is almost impossible.

He can only take one step at a time.

The colossal bronze gatekeepers, upon seeing Yuan, their eyes, originally white light, switch to gold.

Then they begin to work in unison to push open the arena’s gates.

Wen Xishu can clearly feel the ground trembling beneath his feet.

It’s unimaginable; just two gatekeepers are already terrifyingly powerful creatures. How many other horrifying monsters must be within this arena?

And Taurus itself, how fearsome an existence must it be?

The gates leading to the Holy Arena open. Wen Xishu and the others quicken their pace as they enter the gates. Inside, already awaiting Yuan and company, is a figure atop wearing a moon-shaped hat, dressed in alternating red and white stripes, resembling some kind of red zebra, a humanoid "wronged soul."

When Wen Xishu’s group arrives inside, it respectfully approaches:

"Great Lord of Machinery, I have been awaiting here for quite some time. I am the judge, and I will lead you to the temple area of the Holy Arena."

If one’s view does not focus on the judge, the interior of the arena is revealed to have many smaller arenas, a significant portion of which are floating in the sky.

It’s like a massive fortress within, with countless floating islands.

Wen Xishu thought of a term "Land of Shattered Stars."

Inside the densely-packed arenas, numerous different events take place. And in each arena, there are often blue-and-white striped "wronged soul clans" serving as judges.

Only the judge in front of Wen Xishu is red-and-white striped, seemingly of considerable status.

Yuan said:

"Lead the way."

Wen Xishu composed himself, preparing to continue moving forward with Yuan and the others.

The judge nodded and said with a smile:

"Please follow me."

Their pace clearly slowed down significantly.

Once the Divine Dawn enters the territory of the Mechanical City, there is no longer a risk of being hijacked.

"Among those you’ve brought this time, there are unfamiliar faces. But because it’s you, I suppose it’s safe to trust them, right?"

"If you are willing to vouch for him, then I will not use judicial powers to impose rules on him."

The unfamiliar face mentioned by the judge is, of course, referring to Wen Xishu.

From this sentence, Wen Xishu can probably guess that the judge’s power... could it be to create inviolable rules?

He feels slightly nervous, for Yuan is aware of certain things.

But Yuan seems to have intentions of observing him, so has not yet disparaged.

"Unnecessary question. Just lead the way."

In the face of the judge whom everyone in the arena dare not offend, Yuan’s attitude appears anything but friendly.

But the judge is unconcerned; on the contrary, it is exceptionally respectful.

Among the non-human tribes, whether mechanical, wronged soul, unknown, gods and demons, or beasts, the Mechanical Race holds a transcendent position. It’s not that the Mechanical Race itself is strong—

Rather, the king of the Mechanical Race, this Lord of Machinery, possesses terrifying power.

The judge’s master is Taurus. It knows well the master’s attitude toward the Lord of Machinery: a desire not to antagonize.

"I’ve overstepped. By the way, allow me to add, you have successfully transported the Divine Dawn, but unlike before, this time, my master is undergoing an extremely crucial phase."
