Three Divine Wishes: Yes, I'm OP!
Chapter 300: Fatality Will Come... She Always Does
After giving her gift to Calista, Akashi didn’t stick around; she seemed to vanish for the next fifty years... though not entirely.
Because of the dimensional limitations tied to their power level, the stronger someone was, the harder they were to perceive.
Akashi, however, was a bit spoiled.
She had the luxury of deciding exactly who could and couldn’t see her.
So, instead of truly disappearing, she retreated to the Golden Apple Treehouse, waiting patiently until Akasha was done having his fun.
"Oh?" Akashi murmured, raising a brow. "He’s finished already?"
Hearing the footsteps draw closer, she shifted her posture and stepped down toward the floor.
She straightened just as the upper stairs revealed three figures approaching.
In that moment, Akasha, Luna, and Yume all came in at the same time, but the women didn’t look the same.
Yume had kept the purple-and-gray infinity in her eyes, but her hair had gone a pale gray with blue running through it, and the same infinity mark now sat under her left eye.
Luna’s hair had grown until it brushed the wooden floors even while she stood, white with pink woven through the length.
Her eyes were pink, with white hearts turning in them, and a pink-and-white infinity symbol under her left eye.
At this moment, Luna could finally wield her power to its fullest, and she had grown in more ways than one.
In truth, she could have been unsealed much earlier, as she had told Akasha long ago—the more they were intimate, the more her abilities would awaken.
But Akasha had spent so much time training, growing stronger, and securing the Orin Star System that he rarely had any true downtime, ultimately reaching her rank before he could fulfill both of their desires as he should have.
Yet, as their shared pleasure came to a close, both Yume and Luna experienced subtle changes... and in this moment, they were slowly beginning to merge into Unus.
Akashi watched them enter with a bright smile, her hands behind her back.
"Mother," Akashi said, taking one look at her standing there. "It looks like you’ve made yourself at home, huh?"
As he teased his mother, such words did not reach Luna’s ears.
The instant her gaze fell on Akashi, she went still. Her long hair, brushing the floor, swayed lightly before settling against her ankles.
Her mouth opened, then closed again, words failing her.
The face before her was both that of a stranger and someone she knew all too well.
"That’s..." Luna’s voice came out thin. "Creator..."
For as long as Akasha could remember, whenever Luna spoke about his mother, it wasn’t exactly in a reverent tone. Yet, it was obvious she held Akashi high on her personal scale of respect, and he could see why.
Akashi had literally given her life, and in some ways, she could be consideredLuna’ss mother too.
"Mother Dream," Yume said, for unlike Luna, she shared no connection with Akashi and was tied solely to Akasha.
Still, she had always wanted to meet her, so she bowed politely, her smile easy and warm.
"I’m happy to meet you finally. I hope you stick around~"
Akashi touched her fingers to her lips and laughed at the pair—one frozen in place, the other already greeting her like an old friend.
With a single step, she was suddenly standing before Akasha.
She reached up, her hand brushing his face as her thumb traced along his cheekbone.
"My baby boy~."
She kissed him briefly on the lips, nothing like the hungry way Luna and Yume had before.
This was different—possessive in its own quiet way, gentle yet unwavering, a touch that spoke of certainty rather than need.
His brow went up against her as he was caught off guard by a mile.
She winked before he could turn it into a question, then put a step of space between them like she was letting him have his dignity back on purpose.
"I hope you’ve been satisfied," she said, her gaze drifting past him to the two women at his side.
In that moment, Yume’s face flushed so quickly she nearly raised a hand to conceal it.
They all understood precisely what Akashi was implying, though none had anticipated she would be so direct. Akashi gave a quiet laugh and drew her in without hesitation.
The embrace was effortless, without challenge or pretense.
Yume stiffened briefly before allowing her forehead to rest against Akashi’s shoulder, her cheeks still warm with lingering heat.
Akashi then turned to Luna, pulling her in for a hug.
This one lingered a little longer, and when they finally stepped back, her hands remained resting on Luna’s shoulders, thumbs lightly pressing there, holding her just still enough that the pink hearts shining in her eyes had no chance of slipping away unnoticed.
"You stayed with him," Akashi said softly. "Through all those lonely years... when you could have been off exploring Pantheos... That means a lot to me. Thank you, my Luna~."
Luna’s eyes widened a little. The shock was still there, but now it had a direction, a place to settle.
She blinked slowly, easing back into herself, and a small laugh slipped out, shaky at the edges.
"You don’t owe me thanks," she replied. "I’d choose this every time. Thanking me makes it seem like I did you a favor, but I didn’t. I stayed because it’s him."
At those words, Akashi’s expression softened. She gave Luna’s shoulders a final gentle squeeze before letting go.
Akasha had been watching the three of them with a look that was half warmth and half the knowledge that if he did not cut it, things would stall more than they needed to.
"Alright, I think it’s time we head to Pantheos... right?" He said, as it had already been almost two centuries since he destroyed the Universe, and he felt like he was behind.
At his words, Akashi nodded as she spoke.
"Right, but you shouldn’t forget about those companions of yours," She said. "They are quite needy."
"Shit..." Akasha muttered as he slightly forgot about all the people he brought into his domain.
"Well, that’s even more reason for us to head out."
"My love," Luna said as she tugged his arm. "Um... I forgot about this as well."
Snap!
In that moment, she snapped her fingers, and a woman appeared in the air beside the couches, unconscious, unbound, head slack on her chest.
"This is Liliana’s mother," Luna remarked with a playful glint in her eye.
"I placed her in a separate subspace until you returned, given that she is unconscious and all."
Upon hearing this, Akasha shook his head, fully aware of Luna’s true motives.
"Just put her back there... I will take care of it later," he instructed.
Luna smiled faintly and, with a wave of her hand, sent the Siren back into the subspace.
She could have easily healed her and sent her directly to Liliana, but would it not be more fitting if Akasha were the one to deliver her?
With the matter settled, they wasted no further time and departed at once.
