She raised her hand, grabbed Zhai Ying’s wrist, and gave it a forceful shove. Zhai Ying’s heavy body fell backward, crashing right into the food cart at her own service window. The two tiers of small vegetable dishes displayed on it plummeted to the ground with a loud CLATTER.

All those dishes could have been sold for quite a bit of money! Now they were completely ruined!

Humiliated and furious, Zhai Ying shrieked, "You unwanted wretch! Pay for my dishes!"

Before she could finish her sentence, Chen Momo reached out, grabbed Zhai Ying by the collar, picked up an unsold dish from the window, and smashed it directly into Zhai Ying’s face.

Chen Momo picked up the cleaver and, expressionless, hacked at a nearby table. A corner of the table snapped off on impact. Zhai Ying flinched in terror.

"If you don’t want to end up like this table, apologize to Xu Xiaoka right now!"

Trembling violently, Zhai Ying turned to look at Xu Xiaoka. "I—I’m sorry."

Chen Momo said coldly, "I can’t hear you. Louder."

Though her voice wasn’t loud, it carried a heavy murderous intent. Zhai Ying shuddered once again. She cleared her throat, fought back her tears, and shouted at Xu Xiaoka, "I’m sorry! I was wrong earlier! I shouldn’t have thrown water at you!"

Only then did Chen Momo turn and walk away.

Zhai Ying’s husband, Ding Qiao, was a cowardly man. Seeing his wife beaten bloody, he had been scared out of his wits. It wasn’t until Chen Momo and Xu Xiaoka left that Ding Qiao snapped out of his daze and hurried forward to help Zhai Ying up.

The couple completely gave up on selling their sauerkraut fish for the day. They packed up their things early and headed home.

The cafeteria was dead silent.
