Chapter 1530: Chapter 1547: Nangong Yaoling, Wake Up 5
"If you feel that staying in one place for too long gets boring, I’ll take you around the world. Wherever you want to go, we’ll go there, alright?"
Nangong Yaoling gazed at her, speaking each word clearly.
Every time he spoke, the scenes of being with him would appear in Xiaonuan’s mind.
The two of them running together in the forest; he holding her hand as they walked along the vast street where no one knew them; sitting by the seaside watching the sunset together; him crouching beside the big yellow cow milking it, the smell of milk wafting in the air, while she sat on a small stool next to him with a bunch of wildflowers, laughing at the milk on his face...
Happiness can be so simple, yet so extravagant...
Xiaonuan felt like the oxygen in the air was being sucked away by some monster, causing her to feel suffocated and her stomach to churn violently.
She felt nauseous but held back the urge to retch.
Holding her breath, she looked coldly at Nangong Yaoling.
"I’m tired, I want to rest. Can you leave?"
Nangong Yaoling stared at her, his gaze carrying a hint of inquiry, mixed perhaps with a trace of hidden pain.
His gaze made Xiaonuan feel her ears burn and her cheeks flush hot.
Just as Xiaonuan was about to look away, he suddenly reached out and kissed her fiercely before she could react.
Xiaonuan struggled desperately, but his strength was overpowering, and she was drenched in sweat without managing to push him away. Instead, his kiss became more intense, until the metallic taste of blood filled their mouths. He rolled over and pressed her down onto the large bed.
His large hand fell on her chest through her nightgown, kneading her with such force that she felt pain, tears instantly welling up as he lowered his head to continue kissing her neck, then behind her ear.
He seemed to have gone mad, biting every inch of her skin, leaving burning imprints all over her body.
The sound of waves rose and fell beside her ear, and Xiaonuan vaguely heard the cries of seagulls as the yacht swayed softly, making her feel as if she were dreaming.
In her dream, there was a small sailboat, with just her and him on board, lying on the boat watching the blue sky, white clouds, sunset, and stars.
However, she knew, this storm was too great, her small sailboat was about to be overturned; perhaps he could salvage it, but doing so might leave him battered and bruised.
So, she would rather jump into the sea herself to save the last bit of loss.
"Rip—" Xia Xiaonuan’s nightgown was torn open, a button ripped off, flying into the air before finally landing on the deck.
Xiaonuan felt a chill, followed by a wave of heat.
Her whole body trembled, yet she had already given up struggling.
Nangong Yaoling, in the most brutal way, kissed the softest corners of her body, causing her such pain she couldn’t help but cry, but the greater pain was in her heart.
Just as despair flooded her, Nangong Yaoling suddenly stopped.
Xiaonuan lay with her eyes closed, like a lamb to the slaughter, motionless on the bed.
Nangong Yaoling got up, supporting himself to look at her face.
He reached out a hand to wipe away her tears.
Xiaonuan opened her eyes and saw his frost-filled eyes.
"Do you hate me that much? Xiaonuan, what did I do wrong? Why are you so eager to cast me into hell?" he mumbled, looking at her.
Xiaonuan turned her face away.
Nangong Yaoling finally withdrew from her body, immediately flipping off the bed and rushing out of the bedroom without looking back.
