The dragonblood horses raced forward at full speed.

The scenery outside the windows rapidly receded, while thanks to the special formations, not even the slightest jolt could be felt inside the carriage.

The carriage seats were upholstered in extremely expensive soft silk, and together with the faint calming incense in the air, they were enough to wash away all of a passenger’s fatigue despite the long journey.

And yet, despite all that, Muen did not feel relaxed in the slightest. His heart was practically lodged in his throat.

“Y-you two, what are you......”

“What are we doing?”

A delicate hand peeled an orange, carefully removing even the white pith before pushing an orange-red crescent into Muen’s mouth and cutting off the rest of his words.

“Oh my, we’re treating Junior so well. Surely Junior doesn’t have any complaints?” Anna smiled seductively, as gentle as the older sister next door.

“Mmph......n-no......absolutely none.”

“Exactly. I’m treating you this well, so why can’t you just enjoy it openly? What are you worrying about?” Ariel rested her little head against his chest and took hold of his arm with one hand, gently massaging it back and forth:

“Don’t tell me you think I’m going to eat you or something?”"

“N-no......of course not.” Muen forced out a smile.

—Like hell.^

He genuinely felt that these two little temptresses intended to devour him. Otherwise, why had they suddenly become so gentle and considerate toward him for no reason?

Surely it could not be because he had worked so hard last night and they wanted to reward him for it..

Rather than entertain such a fantasy, he might as well wonder whether this was his final meal before the executioner’s blade came down.

Anna was one thing, but this time even the mighty protagonist chosen by destiny herself, the fearless Ariel Bugaard who challenged heaven, earth, and everything in between, was acting this gentle.

The current situation was one thousand percent abnormal!/

“Y-you two, maybe stop for now. Our elders once taught us that an elegant noble must always maintain proper decorum. And inside a carriage like this, it’s not really......” Muen’s body gradually tensed as he clearly tried to refuse.

“Oh my, Junior, since when did you become such an upright gentleman?”*

Yet at some point, Anna’s little hand had already slipped beneath his clothes. She lightly pressed against his chest, instantly draining all the strength from his body:

“Or could it be that you simply don’t want to embarrass yourself in front of someone......no, in front of a certain dragon?”'

“Absolutely not.”

“Then why are you so nervous? We’re not punishing you this time. Look at you—you really must have done too many guilty things if you’re this nervous now.”,

“W-who’s feeling guilty?”

Muen forced himself to remain composed and said seriously, “You can accuse me of other things and I might admit them, but feeling guilty......as a good man of Belrand, my conscience has always been perfectly clear.”/

“If your conscience is clear, then why are you trying to escape?”

“I just think this is inappropriate. In broad daylight, beneath the clear and righteous heavens, holding hands is already enough. Being this shameless and openly indulging in daytime deprav—hiss!”

Clearly, Anna had no intention of listening to Muen’s nonsense.

While Muen was still trying to dissuade her, she suddenly curled her soft body into his arms like a snake, catching him completely off guard.

Then she tilted up her little face, extended her fragrant tongue, and lightly licked Muen’s cheek.

“Wait......Senior......”

A fragrant breeze washed over him, and hot breath repeatedly brushed against the side of Muen’s face. From the depth of Anna’s breathing, he could clearly sense the desire gradually building inside her.

This meant Senior was not merely talking or playing a prank.

She was serious.

“Me too!”

Naturally, Ariel beside them refused to fall behind. Her small hand slowly traced down Muen’s arm and continued lower. Though her movements were somewhat inexperienced and nowhere near as seductive as the little devil Senior’s......that very inexperience, combined with the expression on her small face that seemed half embarrassed and half annoyed, instead made one’s blood run hot.

Two people.

One on the left.

One on the right.

Attacking from both sides.

Almost impossible to withstand.

“Damn it!”

Muen clenched his teeth. Faced with such temptation, he had originally intended to refuse.

Unfortunately, those exquisite sensations continued stimulating his soul, while fragrant breaths and coquettish murmurs gradually wore away his will.

Even the agony of approaching death countless times had failed to shake him, yet amid this ultimate temptation, he nearly abandoned his resolve and became entangled with the alluring beauty in his arms......

Bang.

Suddenly, a loud crash rang through the carriage.

Like a thunderclap, it pulled Muen free from the trance of being seduced by a temptress. Only then did he seem to remember what exactly he had been worried about earlier. His heart lurched, and he quickly looked across the carriage.

The two little temptresses in his arms also had a glint flash through their eyes as they turned with faintly amused smiles toward the fourth person who seemed rather out of place inside the carriage.

So she had finally revealed herself?

Just as they thought. Even for a mighty calamity, this so-called “eternal companion” relationship was far too unreliable......

“Why are all of you looking at me?”

Yet once again, contrary to everyone’s expectations, Hamreign remained completely calm. “I merely finished this bottle of wine.”

As she spoke, she picked up another bottle, skillfully sliced off the cap, brought the bottle to her lips, and gave it a slight tilt.

The wine inside vanished instantly.

Gulp, gulp, gulp. An entire bottle disappeared into her stomach.

She smacked her lips as though carefully savoring the flavor.

She was merely drinking.

A mighty calamity had no reason to lie.

Anna and Ariel exchanged another glance, both seeing the confusion in the other’s eyes.

Were they wrong?

Who knew?

Continue?

Then continue.

“Forget about her.”

Anna caressed Muen’s cheek, then smoothly turned his face, forcing him to shift his attention from Hamreign back to her. Her other arm hooked around his neck, and with another fragrant breath, she leaned in and kissed him again.

Muen was caught entirely off guard and could only widen his eyes in shock.

Meanwhile, Ariel on the other side was equally unwilling to lose. Her hand continued feeling around until it moved toward the space between Muen’s thighs, where a tent was already standing tall and a certain beast was already on the verge of breaking free from its cage.

Compared with Anna, who liked all sorts of elaborate tricks, Ariel preferred going straight for the target......

Bang.

Another crash.

Their movements were interrupted again.

Both women stopped at once and abruptly turned around......

“The wine of this era tastes quite good.”

Hamreign was still merely drinking.

She drank extremely quickly—so quickly that it was almost unbelievable. At some point, numerous empty bottles had already accumulated on the table.

And throughout the entire process, she did not even glance across the carriage once.

It almost made Anna and Ariel look like the ones imagining things.

Another coincidence?

The two women remained doubtful but turned back and resumed what they had been doing.

Muen had just seized the opportunity to catch his breath and was about to resist......

But his resistance......did not matter at all.

And so, the atmosphere inside the carriage grew increasingly intimate and heated. That fragile final boundary seemed ready to be easily torn away at any moment by the devilish hand of who knew which woman......

Bang!

This time, it could no longer be called merely a crash.

The entire carriage nearly shook.

The two women slowly withdrew their arms again and turned around......

“What a pity.”

Hamreign shook her head and set down a bottle of wine from the Kingdom’s royal vineyards:

“The flavor is indeed far better than wine from several centuries ago, but the aftertaste lacks the same richness. Is it because of differences in the ingredients? What a pity. Truly a pity. This wine was so close to being perfect......”

“You’re doing it deliberately?”

Anna finally could not help sneering. “You’re just drinking wine. Stop trying to shake the carriage apart.”

“What are you talking about?” Hamreign looked puzzled.

“I’m saying......if you really care, then you can simply show it. You’re a mighty calamity. There’s no need to beat around the bush like this.”

“Care about what?”

“Stop pretending you’re stupid. You know what I mean.”

“I don’t know. I simply enjoy drinking.”

Hamreign said indifferently, “As for that, you can ask the man over there who looks like he’s dying of pleasure.”

“Hm?”

Anna and Ariel simultaneously turned to look......

“What do you mean, dying of pleasure......I’m not, absolutely not!” Muen immediately snapped back to his senses, displaying his determination to resist indecency beneath the broad light of day.

“Who asked you about that!”

Ariel viciously pinched his waist. “Answer her!”

“Hiss......Miss Dragon really does like drinking. I can confirm that.”

Muen endured both pain and pleasure. “I’m telling you two, can you really stop this already? Provoking her is completely meaningless.”

You’re the ones provoking her.

I’m the one suffering.

This cycle of resisting—getting intoxicated—being interrupted, resisting—getting intoxicated—being interrupted was even more torturous than being forced to stop right at the crucial moment.

“Muen is right. I know what the two of you are thinking. You simply still refuse to believe in the pure relationship between Muen and me, so you’re continuing to test me.”

A trace of disdain appeared on Hamreign’s face. “These human tricks remain as boring as ever.”

“Boring?”

The corner of Ariel’s mouth curled upward. “If it’s really boring, then why do you keep reacting?”

“I already told you. I am merely drinking.”

Bang.

Hamreign once again planted the wine bottle onto the table and said coldly, “If you dislike hearing that sound, you can go somewhere else to release your desires.”

“Then why don’t you go somewhere else?”

Anna’s pale arms tightened further around Muen’s neck as she said with a smiling expression:

“If you really only care about drinking, and truly don’t mind us doing some things people in love like doing with Muen, then why not give us the space for a while?”

“Wait, Senior......”

The moment he heard that, cold sweat immediately broke out across Muen’s forehead.

He had already thought these two little devils were bold enough before. Yet not only did they dare deliberately tease him right in front of Miss Dragon, now they even wanted to drive Miss Dragon out and make her give them the carriage!

This was beyond being daring.

This was practically taking off their own heads and kicking them around like balls!

What normal woman could possibly accept such a request?

If Miss Dragon felt even the slightest displeasure toward this kind of behavior, then......

“......All right.”

Once again, contrary to everyone’s expectations.

Hamreign merely considered it for a moment before nodding in agreement.

“If you insist on doing that sort of thing, I can give you the space. After all, Muen looks like he is suffering from holding himself back. As his companion on a higher level, I cannot simply watch him suffer like that.”

“......”

This time, not only Ariel and Muen, but even Anna showed a trace of astonishment.

She had merely said that casually. She had never actually intended to drive the dragon away.

Yet the dragon herself......

“Wait, Miss Dragon......”

Muen tried to stop her. After all, suddenly driving someone out of the carriage in the middle of a journey was not something he could bring himself to do......

Hamreign, however, was extremely decisive.

“Don’t worry. I’ll follow the carriage and won’t wander off anywhere. Besides, this carriage moves like a snail in my eyes. There is no possibility of me losing track of it.”

“No, that’s not what I meant......”

“Have fun, my companion......”

With that, Hamreign disappeared from the carriage, leaving only a breeze stirring the curtains with a rustling sound.

Now all three people remaining in the carriage froze at the same time.

This was not what they had expected.

The two little devils were the first to react, exchanging glances with each other.

“We failed.”

“Yeah. I didn’t expect her to actually leave......”

“She really is......that unconcerned?”

“......Mm. Even I’m starting to wonder whether I’ve judged a noble person by the standards of a petty one.”

Anna sank into thought.

Originally, she and Ariel were only supposed to be the appetizer.

The real course was still to come.

Yet the reaction they had received from merely the appetizer was already completely different from what she had expected.

That made her begin to wonder......perhaps her entire assumption had been wrong from the very beginning?

“Are we still going to continue with the rest?”

“Well......”

Anna was still thinking.

But gradually, she suddenly noticed that the surroundings had grown darker. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw that a certain flat-chested girl who normally feared neither heaven nor earth now had a timid expression and was carefully retreating toward the other end of the sofa.

“......”

Anna raised her head and saw Muen slowly straighten his body, glaring at her with a dark expression:

“Sen—ior! Look what you’ve done!”

“Something good? Did I do something good?” Anna blinked.

“You’re still pretending!” Muen ground his teeth.

“Oh my......”

Anna’s body tilted to the side, and she pitifully collapsed against the sofa, her eyes misty with tears:

“Don’t spank me, all right?”

“I’m spanking that wicked little ass of yours precisely because you’re such a troublemaker!”

Muen immediately lunged forward and gave this little devil, who was always doing bad things, a vicious punishment.

Naturally, the other accomplice was absolutely not getting away either. Muen grabbed Ariel as she tried to escape, dragged her back, and landed several hard slaps directly on that pert little rear.

Smack, smack, smack!

“Mm......that hurts!”

“Muen, I know I was wrong! Lighter!”

For a while, pained feminine cries continuously sounded inside the carriage, but Muen showed absolutely no mercy—today, these hateful little devils had to learn their lesson!

If he did not discipline them now, they might start turning the entire world upside down later!

......

......

Outside the carriage.

Hamreign floated in the sky, quietly watching the carriage travel farther away.

For the moment, she did not move.

Naturally, just as she had said, the dragonblood horses were indeed extremely fast, but in her eyes they were still no different from snails. Even if she waited in place for an entire day, there would still be no possibility of losing them.

Yet the reason she remained motionless now did not come from that confidence.

It came from......something else.

Hamreign lowered her head.

With her hearing, she could naturally hear the delicate cries currently coming from inside the carriage......they were only sounds, and somewhat strange ones at that, but they were not enough to prevent this thousand-year-old dragon from immediately understanding what was happening.

Though she was slightly confused as to why one’s butt would hurt while doing that sort of thing humans did.

But that was not important.

What mattered was......

Hamreign picked up a bottle of wine she had casually brought with her and gently tilted her head back to drink.

But this time, she did not swallow the entire bottle at once.

Instead, using the human way of eating and drinking that she had finally managed to learn, she slowly, lightly took a tiny sip.

So little wine touched her tongue that it was barely enough to moisten the tip.

Yet after swallowing it, her brows furrowed slightly. She stared at the bottle in her hand, and a trace of genuine incomprehension appeared on her breathtakingly beautiful face.

“Strange......”

She murmured softly, “For the first time, I actually lied in front of humans......”

This wine.

It did not taste good at all.
