The World Is Mine For The Taking
Chapter 1737 - 241 - The Pirate Queen (2)
"Well, for now, why don't we have a discussion about something?" I told her, figuring that it would probably be better to actually talk things through before we got distracted by anything else.
"Discussion? What is there to discuss about? Don't tell me you don't know how to use that thing?"
"No, not that," I said, trying not to laugh at how quickly her mind had gone in that direction. "I would love to have a discussion about that too, but right now, I want to talk about something that is actually important to the matter at hand."
The Pirate Queen looked at me as if she were trying to figure out what exactly I was getting at, but after a moment, the confusion on her face disappeared and was replaced by a grin that made me wonder whether I had just walked directly into a trap.
"Alright, I'll hear you out," she said, looking considerably more interested than she had been a moment earlier.
At least I had managed to get through to her somehow.
We eventually entered her room, and the place looked pretty much like what I imagined a typical seafarer's room would look like. A hammock was hanging across one side of the room, and judging by its position and the way it had been arranged, I assumed that was where she normally slept.
The room itself wasn't particularly large, and there was only one table inside, but that table was completely covered with bullets and various pieces of equipment that looked like things she had probably used to kill people. Seeing that much ammunition lying around so casually made me wonder whether she ever bothered to clean the place or whether she simply considered bullets part of the furniture.
There were also several maps scattered across the table, along with various objects that I couldn't identify no matter how long I looked at them. Some of them seemed important, while others looked like things that only someone who had spent most of their life sailing across the sea would understand.
She grabbed the only chair in the room and positioned it so that it faced the hammock, after which she sat down comfortably on the hammock as though this were some perfectly ordinary meeting between two people who weren't currently discussing potentially world-changing matters.
"Sit," she said, gesturing toward the chair.
I sat down on the chair, and I immediately noticed that it was surprisingly small. Somehow, though, it wasn't nearly as uncomfortable as I had expected, so I adjusted myself slightly before settling into it and turning my attention toward her.
Meanwhile, she remained comfortably seated on the hammock and crossed her legs right in front of me. She looked completely relaxed.
"Now then, what do you want to discuss?" she asked, looking directly at me.
She said it casually enough, but judging from the way she was looking at me, she didn't exactly strike me as someone who enjoyed sitting quietly and listening to other people for very long. I already had the feeling that getting anywhere with her was going to take some effort, especially if she decided halfway through the conversation that she was bored.
"Well, for once, let's get straight to business," I told her. "I want you to cooperate with me, and if you do, I'll grant you what you wish."
"Is that so?" she said, suddenly becoming much more interested in what I had to say.
Her expression changed almost immediately, and I could tell that I had finally managed to mention something that caught her attention properly.
She really did want my children, huh?
I suppose her concern was at least somewhat understandable. She was already somewhere around her late forties, if my estimation was correct, and having children at that age would generally be much more difficult than it would be for someone younger.
Unless a person fucks her multiple times and fills her to the brim, it probably wouldn't matter very much because she wouldn't become pregnant particularly easily.
With my sperm being filled with life force, though, I figured there was still a chance that things could work differently for her. I wasn't completely certain about it myself, but considering everything else that my body could apparently do, I wasn't going to dismiss the possibility so quickly.
"If that's the case, then what is it?" she asked, leaning slightly forward as she waited for my answer.
"Firstly, why don't we introduce ourselves properly?" I said. "You've heard of me before, but I haven't heard your name, and I don't really know much about you either. Since this is an introduction, I'll properly introduce myself to you as well. You may have heard me referred to as Christopher Faust, but my real name is Leon."
The moment she heard that, she suddenly started laughing.
"Heheheheh! I knew it! You're so fearsome that it would be impossible for your name to be just Christopher Faust! That name is fucking corny as fuck!"
She was actually making fun of the name I had been using in public?
Was Christopher Faust really that bad of a name?
I stared at her for a moment while she laughed, wondering whether I had somehow made a terrible naming decision without realizing it. Personally, I didn't think the name was particularly corny. It was a name I had taken from my own world, after all, and I had always thought it sounded perfectly respectable.
Apparently, the Pirate Queen had a completely different opinion.
"Well, I am Madeline," she said after finally calming down. "I don't have a last name. I was born right on the sea as the daughter of a pirate's sex slave. I was raised to become one too, but I eventually became strong enough to rise above everyone else and become the leader of the sea, a Queen at that."
She paused briefly before continuing, and the grin on her face faded slightly as she settled into a more serious expression.
"I've heard your name being spoken all around the world, and considering how famous you've become, I feel like I have to tell you my story as well, which is exactly what I just did."
I didn't really need all of the unnecessary background information, but... well, I suppose it worked well enough as an introduction. At least I finally had a proper name to associate with the Pirate Queen, and considering how much information she had just casually dumped on me, I couldn't exactly complain about finally knowing a little more about her.
Still, I had a feeling that there was considerably more to her story than what she had just told me. Someone didn't simply become the Queen of the sea by waking up one morning and deciding that the title sounded nice.
"Well then, what is this cooperation you're talking about?" she asked, returning her attention to me.
