The World Conquest: Giving Birth To Become A God

Chapter 867: Chaos Void Outpost

Chapter 867: Chaos Void Outpost

“First, instead of wasting time building the shadow void land, why not invite the powerhouses from the outer chaos region to help?”

“The outer chaos region?” they repeated, falling into deep thought.

The outer and inner chaos regions had long been divided by a barrier that protected them.

Trillions upon trillions of epochs had passed, yet the two regions had never cooperated.

Although the Overseers managed the outer chaos region, it also had its independence.

There were even Archons outside with strength equal to the Overseers’. How could they manage one another?

Yet, now that they were on the verge of collapse, cooperation didn’t seem like a bad idea.

The only question was whether the powerhouses in the outer chaos region would agree.

“If you can invite them, we’ll have no issue. We’ll open a passageway in the barrier,” Eryos and Feala agreed.

“Then leave it to me,” Maximus said with a smile, unfazed by the challenge.

It was all about give and take. As long as he could offer enough value, he was confident those powerhouses wouldn’t refuse.

“But what do we do now? Any other plans?”

“Yes, this.” Maximus sent them the blueprint for the Chaos Void Outpost.

He had planned to build it long ago, but even with the combined efforts of the powerhouses in the Aeon Plane, they hadn’t completed a single piece.

“What an intriguing idea. This seems like the next step in your plan,” Eryos said, eyes lighting up.

The Chaos Void Outpost wasn’t just an ordinary structure in the void; it was designed to be the nemesis of the dark beasts.

Not only could it resist the pervasive dark energy, but it could also absorb dark beasts to grow stronger and even multiply.

That’s right—multiply! Drawing inspiration from the omni, Maximus designed the Chaos Void Outpost to replicate itself.

Once it gathered enough myriad energy from purified dark beasts, it would split into two.

Moreover, this outpost wasn’t merely a base for powerhouses to fight dark beasts. It also had its own defensive and offensive systems, comparable to a weakened Archon.

Although it might only have a millionth of an Archon’s power, once their numbers reached billions or even trillions, their combined attack would surpass anything they could achieve alone.

Best of all, it only required an Overlord to operate, making it a devastating force on the battlefield.

“This is amazing!”

Studying the blueprint, they were utterly awestruck.

“Did you use the Chaos Devourer’s properties? I didn’t expect they could be applied to a structure.”

“I did use the Chaos Devourer’s properties, but its growth prowess comes from the omni,” Maximus explained.

“Omni? This…”

At this moment, they realized Maximus wasn’t just planning to fend off the dark beasts; he was also building an army of his own.

Once the Chaos Void Outposts grew in number, wouldn’t they become like Maximus’ arms and legs, controlled at his will?

The thought of helping him build his own power made them hesitate.

They might resolve this crisis, but at what cost?

“What do you think? Are you up for the task?” Maximus asked with a knowing smile, aware of their concerns.

But what could he do? The Chaos Void Outpost’s strength and growth could only rely on the omni, the infusion of his power.

Without it, the outpost would be nothing more than a structure layered with expensive materials and powerful arrays.

If not for the sheer size of the Shadow Void Land, Maximus would have also wanted to control it with omni as well.

Finally, after a moment of thought, Feala and Eryos reluctantly agreed with Maximus’ plan.

What choice did they have? They were already in a dire situation.

Unless they wanted to wander into endless emptiness, they had to do everything to defend their home.

“We’ll proceed with your plan…”

Soon, after agreeing to Maximus’ plan, they began mobilizing the other Archons to build the core of the Chaos Void Outpost.

The hardest parts to create were the core and the key ley lines. Once those were complete, a few Overlords could take over the work.

Shedding their majesty, the Archons began to work tirelessly like qualified laborers.

One after another, as prototypes of the Chaos Void Outpost took shape, the tier 11 and tier 12 powerhouses stepped in to finish the project.

Meanwhile, Maximus took Nero and Mira to the Outer Chaos Region.

To recruit more Overlords, Maximus planned to leverage Mira’s connections.

Though she had cut ties with her past to reincarnate in the Aeon Plane, she still had some influence left in the Outer Chaos Region.

Having once dominated the region, Mira’s identity remained valuable.

“Leave this to us, Father. we’ll recruit every Overlord in the Outer Chaos Region in the shortest time possible!” Nero promised, holding his wife’s hand.

“Go, I’ll watch from afar…” Blessing the two with his power, Maximus returned to the Shadow Void Land.

Though he wanted to assist them, the Tower of Knowledge needed to be rebuilt quickly.

Fortunately, Nero and Mira were quite independent and didn’t require his help.

“Let’s go, Mira. Time to see your old friends…”

Returning to her old base, Mira meets up with her previous subordinates.

“Huh? Leader, is that you? You’re still alive?”

“What do you think?” Mira said with a smile.

“We thought you’d fallen to the Dark Beasts! It seems our Leader is truly blessed!”

Seeing Mira alive and well, her subordinates began to celebrate, as if their days of prosperity were returning.

In the past, though Mira was slightly weaker than an Overseer, her plane-level physique allowed her to fight them back-to-back.

Those were their most glorious days, battling for control of the chaos, conquering every plane in sight, eliminating all dissenters, and more.

Unfortunately, after Mira disappeared without a trace, their enemies struck back.

Even the Archons they were allied with could only hide, unable to withstand the counterattacks.

Like a shooting star, they had shone brightly but quickly faded, forgotten by the world.

Now that Mira was back, could they reclaim their former glory?

Looking at their leader, a surge of fighting spirit ignited in their hearts.

“Don’t worry. Now that I’m here, it’s time to bring everything back…”
