Chapter 285: Chapter 182: Sword Mountain and Fire Sea, the Conspiracy of White Lake Wizard City

[Spiritual Power: ???]

[Physique: ???]

Wang Ya felt a little regretful. ‘It seems I’ll have to raise my Power to the level of an Extreme Wizard Apprentice before my Eye of Truth can see the specific stats of an Official Wizard.’

In the open-air Smelting Valley, the heat intensified, and the temperature released by the Earth Fire made Wang Ya narrow his eyes.

Everything in sight had a faint reddish hue. Even the stone walls of the valley had been tempered by the extreme temperature, becoming incredibly hard.

Metal gears were embedded in the stone walls. Their internal structures were extremely complex, emitting the Extraordinary Fluctuations of a Witch Array. They seemed to be connected to the Earth Fire below and also linked the entire space together.

Everything was centered around this Smelting Valley.

The Divine Blood Wizard led Wang Ya deeper into the valley, through a passage carved into the rock wall, and they arrived on the other side.

WHOOSH!

A suppressed sound, like the roar of some great beast, or the ebb and flow of ocean tides—the breathing of the world itself.

An incredibly terrifying heat swept toward Wang Ya. His pupils contracted as the Particle Energy inside him surged in an instant, forming a Fire Elemental Particle Energy Shield to counteract the external temperature.

Wang Ya still couldn’t help but take a step or two back, his gaze fixed in shock on the crimson glow outside the tunnel.

“So, what do you think? Magnificent, isn’t it? A bit of a shock? This is my Sword Mountain and Fire Sea. Fifty percent of all Extraordinary Witchcraft Artifacts produced in the entire Dark Land are completed here.”

The Divine Blood Wizard seemed completely accustomed to the temperature fluctuations, which swept in and out like a tidal wave.

He stood with his arms crossed, glancing at Wang Ya with a smug look.

Wang Ya had to admit, this was a literal Sword Mountain and Fire Sea, and it was truly breathtaking.

Outside the tunnel was a heat intense enough to alter the very weather, with jets of Earth Fire erupting ceaselessly and stretching far into the distance. Numerous chains were coiled around this section of the mountain wall, spanning across the sea of fire.

On the other side was a massive mountain piled high with Extraordinary Metals, all radiating dense Extraordinary Fluctuations. Wang Ya couldn’t even begin to count the number of Extraordinary Metals he could recognize at a glance.

In fact, on that Sword Mountain, there was a huge pile of the two special metals Wang Ya had acquired by chance—enough to form a small hill.

Wang Ya had to admit it again: he had underestimated the Divine Blood Wizard. Or rather, he had underestimated the wealth of Official Wizards, especially one who was among the twelve members of the High Council.

“Simply spectacular!” Wang Ya said, not stingy with his praise in the slightest.

CLANG!

The sound of metal striking metal traveled far from the Sword Mountain, spreading out in waves. Walking along the iron chain walkway that clung to the cliff, Wang Ya squinted and looked over.

The Divine Blood Wizard glanced at the Sword Mountain, where about twenty Level 3 Wizard Apprentices from the Divine Blood School were relentlessly hammering away at Extraordinary Metal.

Although Wizard Technology could be used to complete such tedious tasks, and even to upgrade the entire Divine Blood Tower… the Divine Blood Wizard himself refused to modify the Divine Blood Tower. To him, only by experiencing the purest form of metal, by finding its temperature and its breath through the process of tempering and hammering, could one be a qualified Mechanical Wizard and Alchemy Wizard.

He held the Wizards of the Divine Blood School to the same strict standards.

He seemed to recall something, and a hint of melancholy appeared in his eyes, which was extremely rare for a Wizard of his straightforward and hearty disposition.

The Divine Blood Wizard began to speak. “Did you know? This opportunity you have is because your teacher, the Illusory Dream Wizard, helped my disciple break through to become an Official Wizard…”

He trailed off, saying no more.

Wang Ya sensed there was a hidden story behind his words, but he didn’t say anything.

On the Sword Mountain, the many members of the Divine Blood Lineage saw the two arrive, but they didn’t stop their work. They simply expressed their respect for the Divine Blood Wizard with their eyes.

Then they continued hammering the Extraordinary Metal before them. The sputtering sparks merged with the billowing Earth Fire, and their sweat dripped only to instantly evaporate… A sense of primitive wildness and absolute Power washed over him.

“What are your requirements for your Extraordinary Witchcraft Artifact?” the Divine Blood Wizard asked.

Wang Ya had already thought it through before coming, but the moment he saw the Sword Mountain and Fire Sea, he altered his plans slightly.

He decided to add a few more functions, at the very least.

Wang Ya told the Divine Blood Wizard his requirements.

“You’ve got quite the ambition, kid.” A thoughtful expression flashed across the Divine Blood Wizard’s face before he continued, “Alright, I agree. A growth-type Extraordinary Witchcraft Artifact would be the most suitable for you.”

“However, it will require your flesh and blood, a portion of your Soul Power, and your Extraordinary Spiritual Power to be integrated into it.”

“Forging the Extraordinary Witchcraft Artifact will take about three months. During the third month, you must come here to complete the final step of the process.”

Wang Ya nodded silently. As for the rest of the time, he was naturally free to take care of his own affairs.

…..

「Divine Eagle Territory」

「White Lake Wizard City.」

This place was famous for the vast and sprawling White Lake. Under the sunlight, the leaves and branches of the White Phase Trees on the shore trembled in the wind, reflecting light onto the lake’s surface and creating a dazzling, beautiful, and dreamlike scene.

A large number of Wizard Ships were sailing in and out of White Lake Wizard City, carrying many Extraordinary Products that had been harvested from White Lake.

At the same time, White Lake was also connected to a waterway that was part of a circulation system traversing the entire Dark Land, eventually flowing into the Endless Sea.

This waterway also served as a trade route, allowing the local Wizards of White Lake Wizard City to become fabulously wealthy. Naturally, securing a position here had become the aspiration of many Wizards.
