The Wizard Has A Biochip
Chapter 200: George with Golem vs Lorgy
A deep sigh interrupted me, and my body became rigid.
A huge figure emerged from the forest.
Dark clouds covered the sky.
Then the moon appeared between them.
Its silver light fell directly upon the man.
My eyes narrowed.
He was tall.
Extremely muscular.
In fact...
Next to him, I probably looked like a girl, and that made me somewhat envious, because I had always wanted to be the tallest and most muscular man.
Just from his physical build, it was obvious that this man focused his training on close-quarters combat.
He walked toward the field with a warm smile.
Clearly, he intended to talk to Ruby.
Then his eyes met mine.
The smile disappeared.
His expression became cold.
Before I could say anything, Ruby spoke.
—Lorgy!
—I already told you that you would have to defeat me for real if you wanted me to become your woman!
My eyes widened.
—But today, I brought an opponent for you!
—If you can defeat him, I will agree to your request!
She smiled at the man.
—That condition isn’t too difficult, right?
—Don’t tell me you’re afraid of a newly advanced Level Three acolyte!
Since when did Ruby have an admirer?
And why was that admirer living alone in a remote region of the Kar-Dur Forest?
I observed the man.
—Biochip, show me this idiot’s status.
[STATUS]
[Name: Lorgy]
[Level: Pseudo-Mage]
[Gender: Male]
[PHYSICAL STATUS]
[Strength: 20]
[Agility: 11]
[Vigor: 20]
[Mana: 17]
As I observed him, he continued staring at me as well.
—So this is your boyfriend?
Ruby simply crossed her arms.
The man continued.
—You always said you already had someone.
He pointed at me.
—And this is the man?
His expression became increasingly unpleasant.
—He looks incapable of withstanding even a simple gust of wind.
—His mana wave is chaotic.
—I bet he increased his strength using some kind of concentrated mana potion.
—I don’t see how a weakling like this could deserve Ruby’s love.
—Could he withstand your charm spell?
The man took a step forward.
—Could he withstand your Blood Charm?
His voice became more irritated.
—With that fragile body, how many rounds of love could he endure before simply passing out?
Before I could respond, something changed.
[Alert.]
My Biochip detected a violent alteration.
The man’s mana exploded.
His body began to grow.
Slowly at first.
Then faster and faster.
His muscles expanded.
The silver armor was pushed outward.
Dark fur began to emerge through his skin.
His face contorted.
Two sharp fangs appeared between his lips.
Until his eyes became two sources of light brighter than the moon itself.
Tremendous pressure engulfed the hill.
In just five seconds, the man in silver armor had disappeared. In his place was a giant Elephant.
I remained motionless.
Then I looked at Ruby.
—Is this your training partner?
Ruby smiled.
A dangerously satisfied smile.
—Yes.
The giant Elephant let out a roar.
The earth trembled.
I looked at him again.
Then at Ruby.
I let out a sigh.
—I will punish you later for that insolence of yours.
Ruby simply licked her lips in a very heated manner in response, making me want to end the fight as quickly as possible.
Besides, it would have been a lie to say that I wasn’t nervous at that moment.
No matter how confident I was in my creation, this would be the first real battle of the Brilliance Light Giant.
And the opponent standing before it was not exactly someone I could call a harmless test subject.
After all, among acolytes, it was widely recognized that those who followed the Bloodline Path possessed one of the greatest combat strengths among individuals of the same classification.
And Lorgy was an excellent example of that.
According to the records I had studied, the Giant Elephant was a powerful Level 4 demonic beast.
This meant that as long as Lorgy continued purifying and developing the Giant Elephant bloodline within his body, he possessed the potential to reach the level of a Level 4 Mage.
Naturally, reaching that stage was another matter entirely.
Having the potential did not necessarily mean being able to realize it.
If he ever truly reached Level 4, then perhaps he could start worrying about more complex problems related to his future development.
But for now...
He simply needed to enjoy the monstrous benefits his bloodline provided him.
I watched Lorgy closely and realized that the transformation had affected his consciousness.
Lorgy pounded his own chest with both enormous hands.
Bang!!!
The sound echoed across the hill.
Bang!!!
My expression became serious.
That was perhaps one of the greatest weaknesses of the Bloodline Path.
The deeper someone immersed themselves in the power of their bloodline, the greater the risk of being influenced by it.
Losing their rationality.
Being consumed by their instincts.
Entering a state of rage.
Of course, some Bloodline practitioners did not consider that a weakness.
To them, losing part of their reason was an insignificant price.
Rage increased their desire to fight.
In exchange for a less rational mind, they could unleash an even more violent combat power.
While I analyzed Lorgy, Ruby began moving away from the hill.
She glanced at me over her shoulder and laughed.
—Be careful, George. Once this idiot transforms completely, he usually attacks anything in front of him!
—I’m looking forward to seeing your great performance!
I shook my head.
Then I turned my gaze back to Lorgy.
The Giant Elephant remained standing before me.
I reached for my waist and pulled a small leather pouch from my storage belt.
I held it for a few seconds.
Then I threw it onto the ground.
As soon as the pouch hit the ground, its opening spread wide.
A magical glow burst from within.
Five crystalline cores flew out.
They spun through the air.
They stopped above the field and began rotating at the same time...
WOOOOOOOSH!
The wind appeared.
At first, it was merely a current. Then, within a few seconds, the entire hill was engulfed by violent winds.
My hair was blown backward.
Lorgy stopped roaring.
His green eyes locked onto the five cores.
A tremendous amount of Wind Elemental began to be drawn toward them.
Normally, wind was invisible.
Wind Elemental itself could not be directly observed either.
But...
When an absurd amount of energy gathered in the same place, even something invisible became perceptible.
A white vortex appeared.
Everything converged toward the five cores.
Within a few seconds, a gigantic humanoid figure began to form before us.
It was entirely white, with a body constructed from condensed Wind Elemental.
A sixth core flew out.
Unlike the previous ones, its aura was far more powerful.
A Pseudo-Mage-level Wind Element Core.
It flew directly toward the creature’s torso.
The core fused with the giant’s chest.
The white body vibrated.
A more stable structure began to form.
That core did not merely serve as a source of energy.
It was the support.
The invisible skeleton that would sustain the entire structure.
At the top of the gigantic body, a head began to form.
For several seconds, the giant remained motionless.
But then... The final object began to emerge from the pouch.
A golden sphere that looked like a miniature sun.
Light Elemental energy began radiating from it.
The darkness of the hill was pushed away.
Even the moon seemed less bright.
The golden sphere rose and hovered before the giant’s chest.
Then the core moved forward and passed through the white body.
And fused with the center of its chest.
A golden wave swept through its entire body, and golden armor appeared over the giant’s body.
My creation finally opened its eyes, which were two small golden suns.
The Giant’s left hand rose.
A concentration of light appeared before it.
FWOOM!
A huge magical shield of light appeared.
At the same time, a weapon in the form of a golden spear began to form in its right hand.
The pressure caused by the Giant only increased the Elephant’s aggression.
He slammed his fists into the ground.
The earth trembled.
BOOOOOOM!
His fighting spirit finally surpassed its limit.
And then he charged.
The ground exploded beneath his feet.
A four-meter-tall body began running toward me.
I immediately began retreating.
I had no intention of remaining in the center of that battlefield.
As I moved away, my eyes lit up.
—Biochip, initiate real-time combat analysis.
[Command received.]
[Combat analysis mode activated.]
The Brilliance Light Giant moved.
It didn’t wait for Lorgy to reach it.
Its right hand rose.
The spear of light disappeared.
For a fraction of a second, it seemed to have simply ceased to exist.
FWOOM!
The spear reappeared.
Embedded directly in Lorgy’s chest.
The speed was so high that an ordinary eye probably wouldn’t have been able to follow the movement.
The next instant...
BOOOOOOM!
The spear exploded.
A miniature storm of golden lightning enveloped the Giant Elephant’s body.
Luminous arcs raced across his muscles.
My vision filled with information.
[Basic power of the luminous discharge: 21 points.]
The attack was powerful.
But it wasn’t enough.
Lorgy possessed extremely high physical attributes.
Lorgy pushed through the lightning.
He extended his hand.
His gigantic palm came crashing down toward the Giant.
The Giant moved.
Despite its size, its reaction was fast.
Its body slid to the side.
Lorgy’s palm struck the ground.
BOOOOOOOOM!
Rocks and dirt exploded.
The Giant disappeared from in front of him.
And reappeared behind him.
The Giant’s right hand moved.
A long strip of light appeared.
It extended.
Curved.
And wrapped around Lorgy’s waist.
A whip of light.
FZZZZZZZT!
The discharge was immediate.
Violent lightning raced through the Giant Elephant’s body.
Lorgy roared.
This time...
The roar contained pain.
The smell of burning flesh began to spread across the field.
But the result was not what I expected.
The pain only increased his fury.
He grabbed the whip of light.
He clenched his fingers.
CRACK!
The energy structure broke.
The whip exploded into luminous particles.
Lorgy spun around.
His two fists were raised.
And then they came crashing down.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!
The blow landed.
The Light Shield shattered.
Lorgy’s physical strength tore through both external defenses.
The Brilliance Light Giant was launched upward, leaving a long golden trail across the sky.
