The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 2384: The People Around Ms. Quinlan Are All Extraordinary

Amadeus Yancey saw her lowered eyelashes; his heart clenched hard, and he slammed his palm on the Steering Wheel, the horn blaring once.

He took a deep breath, stormy turmoil flickering in his eyes as he forcibly swallowed his emotions: "Forget it, I’ll take you to the hospital to deal with the wound first."

Inderia Hospital.

Sadam Vinson and Alfred Garland were the first to rush to the emergency room outside.

Wincent Sullivan, Mrs. Sullivan, Williansen Barness and the others hurried over soon after.

Then came Nicholas Fuller, Orson Saban, and Violetta Hoffman.

The corridor outside the emergency room was packed to the point of bursting; some Power had already noticed the abnormal movement around the hospital.

Amadeus Yancey had arranged in advance for people from the Yandor Sect to seal off this whole area. Without his orders, no one except medical staff could probe into what was going on inside.

Inside the emergency room.

The doctor had already done a preliminary examination on Nathalie Quinlan.

She came out holding the freshly taken scans.

In the corridor, Nicholas Fuller was the first to rush over: "Doctor, how is she?"

The female doctor pushed up the glasses on her nose, saw how tense Nicholas Fuller was, and handed the scans to him. "Her right shoulder was injured not long ago, and the wound had only just about healed. This time it’s a new injury on top of an old one—wound on wound. So the surgery is very difficult, and... even if we can take the Bullet out of her body, her hand is done for."

—Her hand is done for!

Nicholas Fuller’s mind buzzed, almost exploding. He grabbed the female doctor’s Arm, unable to accept this Results: "Can’t you think of another way? Nothing can happen to her hand. Think of something else, there must still be a way..."

The female doctor didn’t dare offend him, but she also didn’t dare make promises. She could only stand there looking troubled, hesitating to speak. "Mr. Fuller, we’ve done our best."

Sadam Vinson kicked the wall, his eyes bloodshot. "How could this happen! What will Nathalie do from now on?"

Alfred Garland felt so awful he could no longer speak.

Nathalie Quinlan’s right hand was priceless, a hand a thousand, ten thousand times more precious than a pianist’s. Alfred Garland simply couldn’t imagine the scene of Nathalie’s hand being ruined.

Amadeus Yancey, however, remained silent, picked up the Phone and walked off to make a phone call.

Out of the corner of his eye, Williansen Barness saw him leave, frowned slightly, and strode after him.

Mrs. Sullivan had also been anxious at first, clutching Wincent Sullivan’s hand. Her eyes were sharp enough to catch Williansen Barness following, and she patted Wincent Sullivan. "Let’s go see what’s going on."

Wincent Sullivan looked toward the direction Amadeus Yancey had gone. On the one hand, he felt it wasn’t good for them to just follow like this; on the other, he was truly worried about Nathalie Quinlan’s condition.

After hesitating for a moment, he supported Mrs. Sullivan and quietly followed as well.

In the corridor outside the hospital.

"When are you planning to set out?" The man’s Voice was steady and powerful, as if he were on a phone call with someone. "I’ll arrange an airplane for you from Mundania to Inderia, taking off in ten minutes. But Nathalie Quinlan can’t wait for you to get here—I need them to give her a shot of anesthetic first, and you can operate when you arrive. Alright?"

Wincent Sullivan and Williansen Barness had both noticed his presence. Neither of them spoke; they just perked up their ears to listen to the man’s phone call.

It was Mrs. Sullivan who lowered her Voice, speaking quietly so only the three of them could hear: "Inderia’s airspace isn’t easy to get into. The people around Ms. Quinlan really aren’t simple. I just don’t know who he’s calling."

Before she finished speaking.

Amadeus Yancey said mildly, "Then I’ll trouble you to make a trip, Mr. Dax."

Mrs. Sullivan suddenly realized who Amadeus Yancey was calling.

—Caleb Dax!
