The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 2374: Nathalie Quinlan Won’t Let Anyone Investigate—Who Could Track Her Movements

  • Next Chapter

Someone outside is honking.

Nathalie Quinlan, after changing her shoes, straightened up and pulled down her duckbill cap stylishly, picked up her bag, and headed out: "I’ll be right back."

In the blink of an eye, Sadam Vinson saw the girl leave.

Outside, the sound of a car starting up was heard, indicating that the car had left.

Govert Griffin shouted to him over the intercom: "Mr. Vinson, why are you just standing there? If you don’t come back, we’re going to lose this round."

Sadam Vinson gazed at the girl’s departing figure, feeling an inexplicable sense of unease.

He anxiously got off the sofa and told his game companions: "I’m not playing anymore. You guys continue, I’m logging out."

Govert Griffin didn’t have time to call out to him.

Sadam had already quickly exited the game, sat up straight, and lowered his gaze to find Amadeus Yancey’s phone number in his phone and dialed it.

"Bzzz."

The phone only rang once.

On the other end, the call was answered.

Sadam didn’t waste any time: "Hey, Amadeus. Nathalie just got up, and she went straight out. She said a friend asked her out, didn’t even eat. I feel like she’s up to something. I saw she even brought her bag. It looked packed, I’m guessing it had a computer."

"She usually just takes her phone when going out with friends, this is the first time I’ve seen her take a computer. I asked where she was going, but she wouldn’t say."

Sadam spoke rapidly, clearly and logically analyzing the situation, showing a cautious side contrary to his usual carefree demeanor: "Maybe you should call Nathalie and ask her, anyway, it’s just my intuition. No guarantees!"

The man on the other end was silent for quite a few seconds before saying: "I understand, I’ll ask her."

Sadam said ’Alright’, and Amadeus Yancey hung up the call.

Alfred Garland overheard his conversation and became worried, walking over with a concerned expression: "Mr. Vinson, is what you said true? Ms. Quinlan isn’t in danger, is she?"

Sadam put down his phone, stood up preparing to head back to his room. Hearing Alfred’s words, he paused, turned to look at him, and rubbed his chin: "There shouldn’t be any danger."

Alfred exhaled a sigh of relief: "That’s good."

Sadam glanced at him again before continuing: "I’m just worried she’s hiding something from us, going to do something risky on her own."

"So, is Ms. Quinlan in any danger after all?" Alfred was getting agitated by his words, losing interest even in finding his car keys.

Sadam crossed his arms, gaze distant towards the entrance where the girl left, speaking softly: "Nathalie has recently found clues about her mother. She discovered it yesterday but didn’t act, which is unlike her. Amadeus went out today, and only then did she leave. She didn’t tell us where, and even took her computer. What do you think?"

Alfred wasn’t stupid, which was why he stayed with Amadeus Yancey for so long.

With just a hint from Sadam, he realized the unusual nature of the situation.

He took a deep breath, turned quickly, and said: "I’ll get in touch with Vincent Moore and the others."

Sadam watched his hurried steps, feeling a bit frustrated, waving his hand dismissively, rather skeptical that Vincent Moore and the others could track Nathalie’s whereabouts.

What kind of person is Nathalie?

If she wanted to lose them and handle things on her own, no one could find where she is.

Though Sadam thought this, his actions were sincere, heading back to his room to contact the Vinson Family’s hackers.

As it turned out, Sadam’s observational skills were quite sharp this time.
