The Unveiling of Secret Queen
Chapter 2351: Nathalie: I Can’t Make It for Now
He pulled Agnes Baker along, his handsome features as reserved and cold as always, but his facial contours softened considerably, saying: "It won’t help if we go, let’s find the Vice Principal first."
Agnes picked up her things as well, nodded her chin, and took a deep breath: "I understand."
The two of them left first.
Wincent Sullivan then dialed Nathalie Quinlan’s phone number and stepped aside to make the call.
"Ring... ring..."
The phone rang for a full seven or eight times.
Wincent Sullivan’s heart pounded like a drum, and finally, the other side picked up the phone.
Without much ado, Wincent Sullivan quickly recounted the situation happening there to Nathalie, and finally, asked urgently: "Nathalie, where are you, can you come to the institute? I’m afraid the Principal and Mr. Garland’s conflict will escalate, only your arrival might stop him."
...
Outside the First Research Institute, in a black off-road vehicle, the girl pressed down her duckbill cap and rolled down the car window, her eyes fixed on the road outside, supporting her elbow on the edge, she said nonchalantly: "I can’t make it over for now, have Violetta Hoffman go over to help first."
"V-Violetta, Mr. Hoffman?" Wincent Sullivan responded.
Nathalie squinted lazily: "Yes, it’s her."
Wincent seemed like he wanted to ask her another question.
Nathalie sharply saw a figure emerging from the First Research Institute, she cut off Wincent’s words, succinctly saying: "I have something to do now, I’ll call you back later."
With that, she hung up the phone.
One hand opened the car door, and she spoke to the person in the car: "That person is Madeleine, right?"
Amadeus Yancey also unbuckled his seatbelt, looked at the photo on the phone, and after glancing at the person about to cross the road, he clicked his tongue, saying: "It’s her."
Nathalie was just about to get out of the car to stop her.
Amadeus was quicker, instructing another person: "Vincent Moore, go and invite the person to a nearby coffee shop."
"Yes, Amadeus."
A man with a prominent scar on his face swiftly got out of the car and strode boldly towards the woman who had just exited the First Research Institute’s gate.
Nathalie saw him soon intercept the woman, seemingly saying something.
Amadeus opened the car door for her, his demeanor extremely composed, and softly said: "Anyway, we’ve already found the person, no rush at the moment."
Nathalie nodded, picked up her phone and jumped out of the car: "Let’s go, I’ll talk to her alone."

Madeleine was forcibly ’invited’ to a place for drinks, where the other side thoughtfully ordered her a cup of white coffee.
She held the coffee cup, nervously looking out the window.
Soon, someone pushed open the door of the coffee shop.
Madeleine saw the girl coming in from the outside, showing an astonished expression, subconsciously standing up: "N-Nathalie?"
The girl, enveloped in a carefree aura, walked up, pulled out a chair and sat down in front of her, revealing an extremely beautiful face under the duckbill cap, with droopy eyelids and slightly curled raven-black lashes, as if not expecting the other person to know her: "You know me?"
Madeleine steadied herself, tightened her grip on the coffee cup, and gave a forced smile: "Very few in the First Research Institute don’t know you, it’s just that you don’t recognize people like us."
"I entered the First Research Institute the same year as Williansen Barness, so we barely count as...friends in private." She sat back down, stirred her coffee with a spoon, her mind a chaotic jumble, not sure why Nathalie sought her out, but it seemed like she wanted to talk, so she looked up and smiled: "He’s mentioned you to me. He’s really lucky to have encountered you."
