The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Chapter 2339: Nathalie’s Discriminatory Treatment

  • Next Chapter

Shania Yancey only thought it in her heart; she wasn’t stupid enough to say it in front of Mr. Yancey, she just became even more disdainful of Nathalie Quinlan.

Half an hour later.

Amadeus Yancey brought Nathalie Quinlan to the private room.

Mr. Yancey beamed with joy, immediately stood up to arrange the seating, and waved at the Girl: "Nathalie, come, sit next to me."

As soon as Nathalie Quinlan entered the private room, she saw a few unfamiliar faces inside. Her steps paused for a second, then she walked straight over to Mr. Yancey’s side and politely greeted him: "Grandpa Yancey."

Mr. Yancey pulled out the chair for her and, smiling broadly, called her over: "You sit here."

Nathalie Quinlan didn’t stand on ceremony with him. She responded with a brief "Mm," then sat down in the seat on his left.

This was Shania Yancey’s first time seeing Nathalie Quinlan. At first glance she was a little surprised by Nathalie’s striking looks, but she quickly pressed down that bit of surprise and couldn’t even be bothered to say hello.

Fredy Yancey was much sharper than she was, and immediately spoke up: "This must be Nathalie Quinlan, right?"

Mr. Yancey turned his head and began to introduce them: "Keji, this is Nathalie. Nathalie, this is Amadeus’s cousin-uncle, just call him Cousin Uncle."

Fredy Yancey understood instantly and immediately caught on to what the old man meant. He greeted the Girl very amicably on his own initiative: "Hello, I’m Fredy Yancey."

"Hello, Cousin Uncle." There was an unruly streak in the Girl that couldn’t be suppressed. Fredy Yancey had originally thought she’d be very aloof, but unexpectedly, Nathalie Quinlan behaved extremely courteously: "You can just call me Nathalie Quinlan."

Fredy Yancey sized up the Girl and instead felt that Nathalie wasn’t like what he’d imagined; she actually seemed pretty good.

His attitude grew even more mild, and he said with a smile: "Then I won’t be polite with you."

Candice Yancey was sitting next to Nathalie. Amadeus Yancey pulled out the chair beside Fredy Yancey and said lazily to him, "Cousin Uncle, I’ll sit next to you, okay?"

"You little punk... What’s not okay about that? I haven’t seen you in ages." Fredy Yancey laughed and gave his shoulder a shove.

After Amadeus Yancey sat down, Candice Yancey had the waiter hurry up and bring out the dishes, and at the same time didn’t forget to say to Nathalie: "Nathalie, I ordered a few dishes you like. In a bit, see if you want anything else and tell the waiter."

"Okay." Nathalie Quinlan didn’t like crowded occasions; her Nerves were taut, but she reined in the restlessness All around her extremely well.

Candice Yancey then introduced the others at the table to her.

Nathalie Quinlan met them one by one.

Tonight was a small family dinner for the Yancey Family; the private room was full of Yancey Family who were in charge of managing the overseas businesses, with Fredy Yancey as the main figure.

In addition, Candice Yancey introduced Ian Edbert and the others to her.

Ian Edbert’s looks were utterly average, and he wasn’t tall either—medium build—but there was a restrained sharpness in his eyes.

Nathalie Quinlan instead gave him an extra look and greeted him.

Ian Edbert had heard some things about her from Vincent Moore and the others. Seeing Nathalie greet him, he immediately offered a deferential hello.

After Candice Yancey finished introducing everyone at the table, when it came to Shania Yancey, she glossed over it selectively: "This is Shania, Amadeus’s elder cousin-aunt."

When Candice Yancey mentioned Shania Yancey’s status, her expression was indifferent, and there was an irrepressible dislike in her tone, as if she didn’t want to say more.

Nathalie Quinlan lifted her eyelids, glanced at the woman sitting down to her lower right, and only gave a slight nod, simply not even addressing her.

Shania Yancey almost exploded on the spot!

With Amadeus Yancey present, she didn’t dare easily provoke this living Buddha, and could only swallow it down by force. But her Face color had turned a livid shade from anger, and she could only rely on drinking water to cover up the embarrassment.
