Chapter 2326: Nathalie, You Can’t Hide Your Identity Anymore

He was previously interrupted by Amadeus Yancey and tried several times afterward to bring up the matter of the First Research Institute with Nathalie Quinlan.

If Nathalie was really looking into this.

Mr. Yancey’s thoughts were straightforward; since Lynette Kingsley once stayed at the First Research Institute, Nathalie Quinlan would certainly need to start her investigation there.

Surely, one couldn’t just let Nathalie waste time in Inderia!

"Nathalie..." With this thought, Mr. Yancey became even more restless.

Nathalie had just replied to a message, and upon hearing Giordano Yancey speak to her, she slightly lifted her head and looked over.

Giordano Yancey hadn’t had the chance to speak yet.

Nathalie’s phone suddenly started ringing.

The girl, with an apologetic expression, stood up and said to him, "I’m sorry, I need to take this call."

Giordano Yancey was very gracious and waved his hand, "No problem, go ahead."

Nathalie acknowledged with a ’hmm’ and walked to the side to answer the call.

She didn’t go too far.

Mr. Yancey could still hear the girl’s husky voice.

"Now? What’s up? I’m at home, let’s talk about it another day..."

The girl quickly finished the call and returned.

Giordano Yancey mentally organized his words, ready to bring up the topic he’d raised during dinner when suddenly there was a series of knocks on the door.

Alfred Garland, who was cutting fruit, immediately put down the fruit tray and said to Mr. Yancey and Candice Yancey, "I’ll go take a look."

"Okay." Giordano Yancey, having been interrupted several times, was already a bit impatient, so he let Alfred go to open the door without much attention.

His elderly yet kindly face turned towards the girl as he pondered, "Nathalie, about the matter I mentioned to you at the dinner table, have you thought about it?"

Nathalie had just finished the phone call, her mind full of thoughts: "Huh? What matter?"

Mr. Yancey was about to mention ’The First Research Institute’.

As he raised his eyes, he saw Alfred Garland leading a very familiar person inside.

The newcomer looked to be in their early seventies; at first glance, they appeared very ordinary, just a regular old man.

Giordano Yancey, however, was greatly taken aback, standing up abruptly.

He looked at the visitor in astonishment, his heart pounding rapidly. So surprised was he that he maintained a slightly open-mouthed expression of shock.

Candice Yancey saw his reaction and called out, "Dad?"

She too realized Mr. Yancey was looking at the person Alfred Garland had brought in and followed his gaze, but couldn’t ascertain anything special.

Candice only thought that the stranger was just a regular old person; why did her father react so strongly?

"Ms. Quinlan, Mr. Fuller is looking for you." Alfred Garland led the person inside and said to the girl.

Nathalie didn’t expect Nicholas Fuller to come knocking at the door. She got up and walked towards him, lowering her voice, "Why are you here?"

"I was nearby when I called you, and since you said you weren’t free to go out, I thought I’d stop by myself."

Nicholas Fuller belatedly noticed unfamiliar faces at home. He looked at the girl and expressed surprise, "Do you have guests at home?"

Nathalie tugged her sweater, somewhat annoyed that he had come by so suddenly, and said, "No, my elders came to see me."

Upon hearing that they were her elders, Nicholas Fuller adjusted his expression and immediately said, "I’ll go and greet them."

Nathalie hadn’t decided how to explain the current situation to Mr. Yancey, so she simply pulled on him and said, "No need, next time I’ll treat you to dinner and introduce you."
