Because it was just after ten in the morning, this group was exhausted, coming down from the mountain and resting at the canteen to wait for lunch. The timing was perfect; they got a meal number and sat down to wolf down their food.

The first to eat were a young couple, with the guy named Alistair River, who brought his girlfriend from Suton for a getaway. The young man loved hiking and fresh air and brought his girlfriend along. They found nothing to eat or drink and were arguing along the way. Discovering this Holiday Village, they couldn’t resist ordering everything they could, but were told that the offerings were limited to set meals only.

His first bite was the secret recipe braised pork trotters, so tender it melted in the mouth, with a smooth and fragrant taste that you could swallow without chewing.

"Honey, these pork trotters are so delicious," the lad exclaimed after the first bite, almost biting his tongue—the trotters were so tender, the taste lingered wonderfully.

"In a rural place like this, how can there be anything good to eat? You can’t even pick your dishes, and there’s no juice or coffee." Alistair’s girlfriend scoffed, seeing him bury his head in eating and ignoring her completely. She got so mad she kicked him, then took a bite of sour fish fillet, instantly invigorated by the rich sour broth. The fish was tender and flavorful, her eyes lit up; looking around at the people sharing the table, she saw everyone focused on eating quickly, and became speechless before trying the spicy shredded potato, which made her face turn red from the spiciness, making her want more.

"I wasn’t expecting this Holiday Village to be so picturesque and the food here to beat everything I’ve had in all of Suton’s restaurants."

"Exactly, even the greens taste better than anywhere else. You bite into it, and you can feel the vegetable juice gushing out."

Uncle Water seeing everyone happy, cheerfully said from the side, "All the vegetables at our Holiday Village are organic. The seeds are imported. The broth for the secret recipe pork trotters is drinkable; it’s mixed with Chinese herbs, great for cooling and detoxifying while benefiting the spleen and stomach. Since this month is a promotional opening, all meals are sold at a special price; the price will change later."

"Well deserved, the taste is even better than the most renowned Taste Guild of Suton, where a single dish costs hundreds, yet it’s not as good as this." Alistair poured all the sour fish broth over his rice, cleaned the bowl completely, and reaching out for more buffet rice, said, "Today we really scored, even the rice is delicious."

"This is our Anfield Village’s exclusive Pearl Rice, the seeds were gifted by the province’s experts," laughed Uncle Water, mentioning that Elder Mr. Quinn loved Pearl Rice before he passed, and thus the village plants only this rice.

"Boss, do you sell this rice? I want to buy some to take home," someone immediately asked.

"I’m not the boss, just an errand helper. Unfortunately, due to limited production this year, this rice isn’t for sale. But we have an online store; when production increases next year, you can order Pearl Rice online."

"Is it Green Meadow Wonderland Orchard?" Alistair laughed, "I’ve already followed the shop. The fruits at your Holiday Village taste better than anywhere else, this place is truly magical."

Uncle Water chuckled, feeling a touch of pride.

After finishing their meal, everyone eagerly followed the Holiday Village’s fruit shop online, excitedly preparing to pick some fruit themselves to take home.

These tourists drawn from the scenic area originally came for sightseeing but were enchanted by the village’s views and then won over by the food. Seeing this Holiday Village, boasting extensive fruit orchards, a lake, and fields, brimming with bounty like a paradise, they were reluctant to leave.

After hosting so many tourists, once they finished their meals, Marcus Quinn and his team left them to play freely, then cooked their own meals and finally rested.

Marcus settled up wages for everyone who helped, while Uncle Water and Aunt Water tidied the kitchen, and Miss Tan calculated the day’s revenue.

The dining income was sixteen thousand, about three hundred boxes of fruit sold for roughly thirty thousand, and pure water earned four thousand. After deducting over three thousand spent on groceries for the day, the gross profit was forty-seven thousand. As for wages and other expenses, Miss Tan couldn’t be bothered calculating the details. Seeing this amount from one day’s income, she happily rushed over to Marcus for reporting.

Marcus cooked two hundred lunch sets, being strong and used to physical work, this level of exertion was nothing for him, and he didn’t feel tired. Today’s trial operation revealed that many tiny details were overlooked.
