The command room remained unnaturally silent, the heavy silence broken only by the faint hum of orbital stabilization engines. Raevor stared at the final Imperial directive glowing across his wrist terminal with cold, motionless eyes.

[MAJOR GENERAL RAEVOR VEYR IS FORBIDDEN FROM INTERFERING]

For several long, agonizing seconds, nobody inside the room dared to draw a breath. The weight of an absolute Imperial command hung over the officers like an impending execution blade.

Then, the flagship’s high-priority communication system suddenly came alive with a sharp, piercing alarm chime.

[WARNING: IMPERIAL EVACUATION VESSEL APPROACHING.]

Every officer inside the command room turned simultaneously toward the enormous observation window.

Beyond the thick, reinforced glass, a colossal Imperial transport vessel descended through the toxic upper atmosphere of Planet V-17. Its silver-black hull gleamed under the orbital lights, bearing the intricate crest of the Imperial Family.

Trailing directly behind the massive transport came an escort fleet. Armored warships, high-speed military cruisers, and specialized drop ships carrying elite Sentinel units deployed in a sweeping radius.

This was not an emergency medical evacuation operation. It was a full-scale, aggressive military extraction.

Rhaevia stood beside Raevor, her dark hair moving gently in the artificial airflow blowing from the ceiling vents. Her newly awakened, radiant azure-and-crimson eyes remained fixed upon the approaching fleet with battle-hardened composure.

"They came quickly," she murmured softly, her clear voice entirely flat.

Raevor’s strict profile remained frozen, his expression resembling carved granite. "They were already waiting in the neighboring star sector," he replied.

Rhaevia glanced sideways toward him, a faint glint in her eyes. "For me?"

"For what you became the moment that seal broke," Raevor corrected coldly.

Before she could offer another remark, the blast doors of the command room hissed open. A group of high-ranking Imperial officers entered the chamber in flawless formation.

At their center stood a senior military commander holding a glowing, translucent data slate stamped with a Level Black authorization seal.

"Major General Veyr," the commander announced, his voice booming through the room.

Raevor did not salute, nor did he shift his weight by a millimeter. "State your explicit orders, Commander," he commanded flatly.

The senior officer raised the glowing Imperial seal so the entire room could witness the authorization.

"By direct, absolute authority of His Imperial Majesty, Cadet Rhaevia Rythundeir is to be transferred into Imperial custody immediately," the commander declared.

The atmosphere inside the command room instantly turned suffocatingly tense.

The commander continued without waiting for a response. "She will be transported directly to the Imperial Palace under maximum security escort for immediate evaluation and protection."

Rhaevia’s expression remained unbothered, her posture relaxed.

"Evaluation?" she repeated smoothly.

The Imperial commander looked directly toward her, his tone unyielding.

"Your awakening has created a spiritual and physical phenomenon far beyond the Empire’s current classification system. Until its true nature is fully determined by High Command, you are considered a strategic-level individual."

Raevor’s dark eyes narrowed into dangerous, icy slits. "She isn’t a prisoner to be locked in a cage."

"No, General," the commander replied firmly. "But she is an unprecedented strategic concern to the throne."

Before the officer could take another step forward, a sharp, authoritative voice cut cleanly through the command network speakers.

"Negative."

Every person inside the room turned toward the primary tactical display.

The transmission originated directly from the Rythundeir Ducal flagship hovering nearby in high orbit. The three-dimensional holographic projection of Duchess Rythundeir materialized above the central console, her posture straight and her expression cold.

"She will not be surrendered to your custody," the Duchess declared, her tone leaving no room for negotiation.

Standing directly behind her in full combat armor were Rhaevia’s three elder brothers, their dark eyes flashing with lethal intent.

The eldest brother, an Imperial Fleet officer, stepped forward, his gaze locked onto the Imperial commander. "She is our sister."

The broad second brother stepped up beside him, his massive shoulders tense with rising physical pressure. "And no Imperial directive changes our blood line."

The youngest brother crossed his heavy arms over his chest, a dark, furious smirk touching his lips.

"You want to take her by force?" he challenged. "Come down to the deck and try it."

The Imperial officers inside the room stiffened, their hands instinctively hovering near their sidearms.

Then, the academy’s central command network activated with another override signal. The chief instructor’s holographic image materialized through a secondary communications channel.

"The Imperial Gifted Academy also refuses to authorize the transfer of Cadet Rythundeir," the instructor stated firmly.

The Imperial commander looked around the room, his frustration visibly rising. "This matter far exceeds local academy authority, Instructor! This is a crown decree!"

The chief instructor’s posture remained unyielding. "She saved hundreds of cadets during the planetary collapse."

He pointed toward the tactical maps flickering behind him. "She commanded our planetary defense grid when our own officers failed to contain the breach."

"She is a student of this institution," the instructor concluded, his eyes hardening. "We will not hand her over against her will."

In an instant, the command room descended into administrative chaos. Military officers barked arguments over clearance protocols, academy representatives refused to yield transit access, and the Rythundeir family stood openly prepared for fleet-level armed resistance.

Through it all, Raevor remained standing silently beside Rhaevia, his posture motionless.

The Imperial commander finally turned his full focus back onto the towering Major General. "Major General Veyr!"

The chaotic shouting across the room gradually quieted down as every eye turned toward the youngest General in the Empire.

"You have received a direct, level-black military order from His Majesty," the commander stated, holding up the seal.

Raevor’s dark eyes remained completely expressionless. "State it clearly."

The commander thrust the glowing seal forward. "Hand over the 3S Guide."

A suffocating silence fell over the chamber once more.

Rhaevia turned her head slightly to look up at Raevor’s profile. He did not flinch, nor did his fingers twitch near his weapon.

The commander repeated himself, his voice dropping into a low threat. "Major General Veyr, hand over Cadet Rhaevia Rythundeir."

Raevor slowly turned his head. His dark, piercing eyes met hers in the quiet space between them.

For one brief, timeless moment, neither of them spoke a single word.

Rhaevia did not ask him to risk his career to protect her. She did not beg him to disobey the Emperor’s explicit command. She simply looked at him with the quiet, unshakeable confidence of a veteran commander.

Raevor slowly turned his gaze back toward the massive Imperial fleet visible beyond the observation window.

His deep voice was quiet, yet it carried clearly to every corner of the room.

"No."

The command room went still. Even the hardened Imperial officers seemed unable to process the refusal.

The commander stared at him in utter shock. "Major General..."

Raevor took a single, deliberate step forward. Then, moving with calm purpose, he stepped directly beside Rhaevia.

"She isn’t an Imperial military asset to be claimed," Raevor declared, his voice carrying an unshakeable certainty. "She isn’t a weapon for High Command to study."

He reached down with his fingers. Slowly, smoothly, his palm found hers, intertwining their fingers.

Rhaevia’s dark eyes widened slightly in genuine surprise. His hand was remarkably warm, steady, and intensely protective.

Raevor looked directly into the eyes of the Imperial commander. "She’s under my personal protection."

For the very first time since transmigrating into this interstellar world, Rhaevia’s controlled, battle-hardened mask cracked. She looked down at their joined hands in quiet shock, feeling the solid weight of his grip.

She lifted her head back up to look at Raevor. "General..."

Before she could finish her sentence, her awakened Guide core violently erupted with radiant light.

Raevor’s 3S Sentinel pathways answered the surge instantly, rising without a single microsecond of hesitation or resistance.

WHOOOM!

A blinding wave of azure and crimson energy exploded around their bodies, expanding in sweeping rings across the deck. The heavy steel foundations of the command room shook violently under the sudden electromagnetic pressure.

The diagnostic systems built into the bridge terminals frantically beeped to life.

[RESONANCE DETECTED.]

[GUIDE-SENTINEL LINK ESTABLISHED.]

Raevor’s dark pupils contracted sharply as the resonance value began climbing at an impossible speed.

[68%.]

[81%.]

[94%.]

The physical air around them ionized into glowing sparks as the combined mental shockwave surged deeper.

[99%.]

[100%.]

Across the entire galaxy, countless high-level Guides and Sentinels abruptly stopped whatever they were doing.

In high-tech military facilities, elite Imperial academies, deep-space Federation observatories, and ancient Zerg territories, every powerful mental-user gasped as they felt the same impossible, transcendent resonance ripple through the cosmos.

A high-priority system notification materialized simultaneously across millions of private consciousnesses and military displays:

[UNKNOWN SOVEREIGN PAIR DETECTED.]

Another line of glowing text followed directly beneath it:

[COMPATIBILITY: 100%.]

[CLASSIFICATION: BEYOND 3S.]

The entire galaxy seemed to hold its collective breath under the weight of the revelation.

Yet, a final, crimson system warning flashed silently beneath the theoretical metrics:

[ANCIENT ZERG SOVEREIGN HAS AWAKENED.]

Down on the scorched surface of Planet V-17, the colossal, kneeling Zerg Sovereign slowly raised its massive skeletal head. Its intelligent crimson eyes burned as it turned its gaze upward toward the distant stars.

And somewhere far beyond the known borders of the galaxy, in the absolute depths of uncharted space, something ancient answered the call.
