Chapter 303: Chapter 303: Meeting The Dragons - 3

"They’re already here," Damian said simply, a small smile appearing on his lips.

"They’re already here?" Nivara asked, raising an eyebrow. "I didn’t sense any of them."

"They arrived just a few seconds after you did. I blocked them from entering the Golden Dragon Palace, preventing them from forcing their way inside until we finish our business here," Damian replied.

He glanced in a certain direction, his vision zooming in as it pierced through the walls and every obstacle in its path.

Outside the Golden Dragon Palace, he saw four dragons in their human forms, floating in the air while arguing among themselves.

Damian shifted his gaze back to Nivara.

"Come here, my dear."

Nivara’s face lit up with a beaming smile as she launched herself into his arms, wrapping her arms around his back.

Damian responded by encircling her waist, pulling her closer.

A shiver ran down her spine as their skin brushed against each other.

"Master..." she murmured sweetly, enjoying the warmth of his embrace.

"Can I have a sip of your blood, dear?" Damian asked.

"Anything you want, Master. I’m yours to take."

A smile spread across Damian’s face.

He immediately captured her lips with his own, pushing his tongue into her mouth as they shared a deep, sensual kiss.

Their tongues intertwined for several seconds before Damian finally pulled away.

The other women watched them without disturbing their intimate moment.

Their faces gradually turned red, a mixture of embarrassment and longing filling their expressions.

Some of them shifted their legs restlessly, secretly wishing they could experience the same affection from Damian.

Damian moved his lips away from Nivara’s before lowering them toward her fair, slender neck.

He placed a gentle kiss against her skin, then revealed his vampiric fangs.

His fangs extended from his mouth, and he gently sank them into her neck.

"Mm... Ahh..."

Nivara had heard about this ability before.

She had even read about it in the books preserved within her royal archives.

Noble vampires, particularly those possessing powerful bloodlines, had the ability to transmit immense sensual pleasure through their bites while drinking blood from their victims.

It was originally a predatory trait, one that allowed vampires to weaken their victims’ defenses by drowning them in pleasure, making it easier to feed upon them and drain their blood.

But what if that ability were used purely for pleasure?

And what if the vampire providing that pleasure was none other than Damian, the strongest vampire in existence and the noblest of all noble vampires?

The pleasure transmitted through his bite was beyond anything Nivara could have imagined.

As Damian drank her blood, overwhelming waves of pleasure surged through her body.

She trembled in his embrace, her mind gradually becoming overwhelmed by the sensations coursing through her.

She could barely comprehend what was happening.

Meanwhile, a change began to occur within Damian.

It was the same type of transformation he had experienced every time he became the Progenitor of an intelligent race.

However, this time, something was different.

Every change was contained entirely within his own existence.

Not even an ounce of energy or essence escaped from his body.

The transformation that would normally spread outward, altering his existence and affecting the surrounding world, was instead entirely contained within him.

His very existence began to undergo another profound transformation.

A transformation that would elevate him to an entirely new level.

Damian was becoming the Progenitor of Dragons.

...

Meanwhile, outside the Golden Dragon Palace...

Four dragons stood facing one another.

None of them spoke at first.

They simply stared.

Their gazes collided in the air, each one carrying an unmistakable hostility.

The pressure radiating from their bodies was so intense that the surrounding space seemed to tremble beneath it.

The atmosphere was suffocating.

Bloodlust permeated the air.

Judging by the murderous presence being released by the four dragons, it seemed that a battle capable of destroying the entire world could erupt at any moment.

"There is no fucking way I’m letting any of your pathetic asses take the Celestial Dragon Spear!"

The first to break the silence was a woman.

She stood with her arms crossed, her fiery amber hair fluttering wildly despite the absence of wind.

Her amber eyes burned with fury as she glared at the other three dragons.

She was the Scorch Dragon, the Great Ruling Dragon of the South.

"Oh, shut up, Scorch Dragon."

A mocking voice immediately answered her.

Another woman stood nearby, her long blood-red hair cascading down her back.

Her crimson eyes narrowed as she looked at the Scorch Dragon with an expression filled with undisguised contempt.

"You talk as if you’re somehow superior to the rest of us."

The Blood Dragon, the Great Ruling Dragon of the West, smirked.

A terrifying crimson aura suddenly erupted from her body.

The surrounding space warped beneath the sheer intensity of her energy.

"I will be the one to obtain the Celestial Dragon Spear."

Her voice was filled with absolute confidence.

"And once I do, I will evolve into the Golden Dragon Empress."

Her crimson eyes gleamed with ambition.

"It will be me."

The blood-red energy surrounding her body intensified.

"And I will annihilate anyone who dares to stand in my way."

"Annihilate us?"

A cold voice suddenly interrupted her.

The third dragon finally spoke.

He was a man with long, dark hair and an imposing figure.

His expression remained calm, but his eyes carried a hint of disdain as he looked toward the Blood Dragon.

"What makes you think you’re capable of that?"

His tone became increasingly mocking.

"You’re not even the strongest among the Ruling Dragons. You couldn’t defeat two of us at the same time, yet you think you can survive against all five Ruling Dragons?"

A faint sneer appeared on his face.

"You must be out of your mind."

He was the Prison Dragon, the Great Ruling Dragon of the Central Region.

"Well... four, actually."

A calm voice suddenly followed.

Unlike the other three, this dragon appeared almost completely uninterested in the hostility surrounding him.

His tone was relaxed, almost casual, as though he were merely commenting on something completely insignificant.

"I don’t see the Storm Dragon anywhere."

He was the Star Dragon, the Great Ruling Dragon of the East.

The Scorch Dragon immediately narrowed her amber eyes.

"Yeah... where the hell is she?"

The moment she finished speaking, a deafening explosion suddenly erupted.

BOOOOOOOM!

A tremendous wave of crimson energy exploded outward from a single point, sweeping across the surroundings like a raging tsunami.

The four dragons immediately turned their attention toward the source of the disturbance.

When the smoke and dust finally cleared, they saw the Blood Dragon floating in midair.

Her right hand trembled slightly.

Crimson energy continued to swirl violently around her fist.

Her expression, however, was far from pleased.

She had just tried to punch her way into the Golden Dragon Palace.

And failed.

The reason was simple.

An invisible barrier surrounded the entire palace.

None of them had been able to see it before, but the moment the Blood Dragon attacked, its existence became unmistakable.

The barrier had stopped her punch effortlessly.

More importantly, it had not even trembled.

The Blood Dragon had poured a significant amount of energy and power into that single attack, yet the invisible barrier remained completely unaffected.

It was as if a newborn human had thrown a punch at a three-foot-thick wall of steel.

There was simply no comparison.

The Blood Dragon stared at the palace in disbelief.

For the first time, a thought she had never considered before began to creep into her mind.

"Could there really be nothing in this universe capable of breaking through that barrier?"

"Hm."

The Star Dragon let out a quiet snort.

"Arguing about who gets to obtain the Celestial Dragon Spear is pretty useless when none of us can even get inside the palace."

His words caused the other dragons to fall silent.

The Star Dragon himself had little interest in obtaining the power of the Golden Dragon Emperor.

But that did not mean he was willing to allow someone else to obtain it.

The Celestial Dragon Spear represented something far greater than merely an immensely powerful weapon.

Whoever conquered the spear might become the next Golden Dragon Emperor.

And if that happened...

The entire Dragon Race would have no choice but to kneel before that individual.

The Star Dragon’s eyes narrowed slightly as he stared toward the Golden Dragon Palace.

He would rather see the Celestial Dragon Spear disappear forever than allow it to fall into the hands of any of the other Ruling Dragons.

"What the fuck is this barrier?! How can such a powerful barrier even exist here? There was no record of the Golden Dragon Palace possessing a protective barrier!"

The Blood Dragon’s voice echoed through the surroundings, frustration and disbelief evident in her words.

Then, as if suddenly realizing something, her eyes widened in anger.

She abruptly turned her head toward one of the Ruling Dragons.

"It’s you..." she growled, her eyes burning with fury. "This is your doing, you pathetic rat!"

Her accusation was filled with barely restrained rage.

"Me? The fuck do you mean it’s my doing?" The Prison Dragon immediately snapped back. He stared at the barrier with a solemn expression before continuing, "Even I can’t create a barrier powerful enough to hold multiple Ruling Dragons at bay."

His expression gradually became more serious.

"Someone infinitely more powerful than me created this... and I don’t even want to imagine what would happen if I had to go against someone like that."

As if his words had summoned something, the atmosphere suddenly changed.

All of the Ruling Dragons felt it at almost the same time.

A strange fluctuation swept through the air.

Then, in the very next instant, the barrier surrounding the Golden Dragon Palace suddenly began to dissolve.

The powerful barrier that had kept their senses completely cut off from everything within the palace vanished without warning.

Their senses immediately spread inward.

And finally, they could perceive whatever or whoever had been hidden inside.

Six powerful presences casually stepped out from within the Golden Dragon Palace.
