The Super Bodyguard of the Beautiful CEO
Chapter 1500 - 1515: Exposed
Chapter 1500: Chapter 1515: Exposed
After all, the Diamond Sutra that Lin Mu practices is almost a medical book. Not only does it contain exceptionally rich knowledge about human acupoints and meridians, it even vividly describes the medical principles of diseases and clinical symptoms. Lin Mu has reached such a level that his medical skills have already matured into the Transformation Realm, surpassing those veteran experts and professors at Flying Dragon Hospital by more than a few grades!
Luckily, Luo Aimiao made a phone call, otherwise he might really have been deceived by that bad woman. Lin Mu called Ah Fang.
Ah Fang answered the phone quickly.
"Where are you?" Lin Mu asked.
"What’s wrong? Missing me already?" Ah Fang chuckled and asked.
"Cut the crap, I’m asking where you are." Lin Mu impatiently questioned. At the moment, Ah Fang held no allure for Lin Mu—not only was there no allure, there was even a trace of disgust. It seemed from now on, when choosing a woman, he needed to choose wisely; otherwise, he’d end up with a mess without gaining any bargain.
"I just left the hotel not far away." Ah Fang said.
"Alright, come back immediately, I’ll wait for you at the hotel entrance." Lin Mu said.
"What’s going on?" Ah Fang asked.
"You’ll find out when you return!"
After Lin Mu finished speaking, he couldn’t be bothered to talk further with her and hung up the phone directly, standing at the hotel entrance waiting for her to come over.
Not long after, Ah Fang arrived by car, the Porsche stopped.
Without saying a word, Lin Mu opened the car door and got in, then grabbed Ah Fang’s hand without hesitation.
"Hey, no need to be so eager, let’s go to the back of the car to do it." Ah Fang said, clearly thinking Lin Mu wanted to do something like that.
Of course, Ah Fang was overthinking it. Even if she stripped naked in front of Lin Mu at this moment, it wouldn’t stir any interest in him.
The reason Lin Mu grabbed Ah Fang’s hand was to take her pulse. With his power in Chinese medicine’s diagnostic techniques, he could verify truth and falsehood just by taking a pulse. Previously, Lin Mu hadn’t paid attention to this detail simply because he hadn’t thought that far.
"What are you doing?" Ah Fang asked with a puzzled expression.
"You’re not pregnant." Lin Mu glared coldly at Ah Fang and said. At this point, Lin Mu could confirm—those pregnancy symptoms and whatever else were all made up. This woman wasn’t pregnant at all, and her period had ended just three days ago.
Upon hearing Lin Mu’s words, a trace of discomfort appeared on Ah Fang’s face, but it quickly vanished. She looked at Lin Mu and said, "What are you talking about? If you don’t want to take responsibility, just say so; I don’t care. Worst comes to worst, I’ll go to the hospital to get the kid removed, don’t accuse me of not being pregnant and deceiving you. As a man, you should have a sense of responsibility and not avoid obligations!"
Lin Mu looked at Ah Fang and laughed coldly, thinking to himself, does this woman know how to fake stuff?
"Ha, is that so? Your period ended just three days ago, yet you claim you’re pregnant. Are you some kind of bizarre creature from Mars?" Lin Mu sneered as he spoke to Ah Fang.
Ah Fang’s face turned ugly. Clearly, her plan had been exposed by Lin Mu, even that peculiar detail about her period ending three days ago was known to him. She could no longer continue hiding it.
"How, how did you know?" Ah Fang asked Lin Mu in a panic.
"Ha, you admitted it, didn’t you?" Lin Mu sneered.
"Yes, I’m not pregnant." Ah Fang said to Lin Mu. There was no further need to hide it; she definitely couldn’t hide it any longer.
"Ha, good that you admitted it." Lin Mu looked at Ah Fang coldly, then reached to squeeze her neck. "Do you know what I hate most in life?"
Ah Fang, being choked by Lin Mu, struggled to breathe, her face flushed red, "Wh-what is it?"
"What I hate most is being deceived." Lin Mu said, looking at Ah Fang.
"Wh-what do you want to do?" Ah Fang grasped Lin Mu’s wrist and asked.
"I want to kill you." Lin Mu replied coldly, showing not the slightest hint of joking.
"No... don’t." Ah Fang looked at Lin Mu in panic, feeling as if she was about to suffocate.
"Tell me, why did you do this?" Lin Mu coldly questioned.
"It... it wasn’t my idea, it was Jiao Yunda who told me to do it. He arranged it; I was forced to comply. He already knows about us, and I was afraid he would tell Zhong Xin, so I had to follow his orders." Ah Fang said, looking at Lin Mu.
"Jiao Yunda?" Lin Mu frowned upon hearing Ah Fang’s reply and released her.
Once he let go, Ah Fang gasped for air. If Lin Mu had continued for a bit longer, Ah Fang might have suffocated.
Of course, Lin Mu released her solely because Ah Fang mentioned Jiao Yunda, making him suspect there was more hidden beneath the surface.
Lin Mu took out a cigarette and lit it, then asked, "Tell me everything. If there’s even half a lie, I’ll take your life."
At this moment, Ah Fang looked at Lin Mu as if staring at the Grim Reaper. She dared not lie.
"After you left that night, Jiao Yunda showed up. He said he already knew about us, and if I agreed to help him, he would keep it a secret. I had no choice but to agree. Everything was arranged by him, and when he said he wanted to deal with you, I was very surprised because I always thought you two had a good relationship. But after I questioned the reason, he told me it’s all just an act, including this medical record, which he had prepared in advance to deceive you." Ah Fang recounted the events to Lin Mu.
"Damn it!" Lin Mu was furious. Jiao Yunda doing such things was unexpected. After all, Lin Mu’s impression of Jiao Yunda was decent, but unexpectedly, this guy was orchestrating such things behind his back.
"What was his purpose in having you do this?" Lin Mu asked. There must be a reason for doing this, but Jiao Yunda wanting to target him surely required a reason, right? He shared no grievances with him; why do it then? This was something Lin Mu couldn’t understand.
"He didn’t tell me, so I don’t know." Ah Fang glanced at Lin Mu and said.
"Really don’t know or pretending not to know?" Lin Mu asked Ah Fang.
"I really don’t know. You know Jiao Yunda; do you think he would tell me?" Ah Fang replied to Lin Mu.
Lin Mu could tell Ah Fang didn’t seem to be lying; given the situation, she wouldn’t dare lie.
"Ha, alright, I believe you." Lin Mu sneered, then said, "Do you want to live or die right now?"
"Wh-what do you want?" Ah Fang asked in fear, looking at Lin Mu. Her eyes showed extreme fear.
