"Brother Lin, where are you? The police are looking for you." Zhou Xun said.

"Police?" Lin Mu was puzzled. Why were the police looking for him again? But then it hit him—it had to be because of Cheng Mingwei.

"Alright, I’m in Director Yu’s room. I’ll head out right away." Lin Mu said.

"Boss Lin, is everything okay?" Nanny Yu asked.

"It’s fine, just a small matter. Anyway, keep digging during this period. We have to find out who’s really pulling the strings at that film company. I keep feeling like someone’s watching me from behind the scenes." Lin Mu said.

So Lin Mu left the room. Just as he stepped out, he saw several police officers standing in front of his own door. His room and Nanny Yu’s were right across from each other, and Zhou Xun was also standing there at the door.

"You’re Lin Mu?" one officer stepped forward and asked.

"You know Cheng Mingwei, right?" the officer asked again.

"So you mean you’ve met him." The officer said.

"Yeah, I’ve met him." Lin Mu nodded. The reason the officers were here was obvious—it was clearly about Cheng Mingwei.

"Since you’ve met him, come with us to the station for a bit." That officer said.

"Brother Lin, what’s going on? Why are the police looking for you?" Zhou Xun stepped up and asked.

Lin Mu chuckled. "Heh, nothing serious. I just taught a lesson to some poser idiot. It’s not a big deal."

Zhou Xun nodded. "Then go and come back quick."

"Relax. This isn’t my first or second time at the station. For your bro, it’s basically a routine visit." Lin Mu waved his hand as he spoke.

"Let’s go." Lin Mu laughed and said to the officers.

Soon, the officers left the hotel with Lin Mu, then put him in the squad car. Ten minutes later, Lin Mu was brought to the police station.
