Chapter 1481: Chapter 1496: A Draw

"Wei Rongcheng, you’d better think it through. If you make a move today, it means the Wei Family wants to go to war with our Jiao Family." Jiao Yunda said coldly.

"What is your Jiao Family? Our Wei Family would never be afraid of you. Don’t take yourselves too seriously. I’m gonna make a move!" Wei Rongcheng said and gestured forward with his right hand, and several subordinates immediately lunged at Zhong Xin.

Meanwhile, two bodyguards beside Jiao Yunda quickly moved forward and knocked the Wei Family thugs to the ground.

"All together now." Wei Rongcheng waved his hand heavily and said.

At this moment, a noise of footsteps arose again, and another crew poured in from outside the hotel. Obviously, they were not from the Wei Family, so they must be from the Jiao Family.

This crew was about the same size as the Wei Family, also numbering about thirty people. They had an imposing presence and surrounded Wei Rongcheng’s group as soon as they entered.

Wei Rongcheng glanced around and couldn’t help but chuckle, "Jiao Yunda, you’re cunning, huh? Seems like you’ve planned this long ago, haven’t you?"

"Hehe." Jiao Yunda chuckled indifferently.

"Since your people are already here, why don’t we have some fun? Our Wei Family would never allow the Jiao Family to trample over us. Let me tell you, our old Wei Family is never afraid of your Jiao Family." Wei Rongcheng shouted defiantly at Jiao Yunda.

Jiao Yunda didn’t reply, instead, he calmly took out a cigarette from his pocket, lit it, and held it in his mouth.

He took a slow drag and then calmly instructed his subordinates, "Do it!"

At the Young Master Jiao’s command, the crew rushed at Wei Rongcheng like wolves.

The Wei Family people certainly would not show weakness, and they charged forward head-on, immediately engaging in a fierce battle.

Both sides were armed, and within moments, the whole hall turned into chaos, and soon, cries of agony rang out one after another.

Obviously, the numbers were evenly matched between the Wei Family and the Jiao Family, and their strength was also on par. Neither group was very powerful; it was all about raw aggression as they hacked at each other.

Before long, the ground was littered with bodies. Initially, nearly a hundred people were fighting, but soon only about twenty were left standing. However, these remaining people showed no sign of stopping, continuing to fight fiercely, competing to see who was more ruthless!

Soon, one by one, the fighters fell to the ground and couldn’t move. After another three or four minutes, there was no one left to fight; everyone had been beaten down. The last man standing, who took down others, also suffered multiple stab wounds and couldn’t hold on, eventually collapsing.

Wei Rongcheng’s side had no one left; everyone was on the ground. Jiao Yunda’s side also had everyone lying down.

Comparatively, Wei Rongcheng remained at the weaker end. Despite being unable to fight, he was the only one left standing on his side, while on Jiao Yunda’s side, Zhong Xin’s subordinates were still around.

Wei Rongcheng, with a cigarette in his mouth, continued smoking calmly, not showing any signs of panic, indicating he had reserved strength.

Jiao Yunda was similarly smoking, a stream of smoke continuously emanating from his mouth.

"Go," Zhong Xin shouted, his subordinates charged at Wei Rongcheng.

Lin Mu could see that Wei Rongcheng had skills, as there was a noticeable strong aura around him. Such an aura wouldn’t form without skills, and only those with deep cultivation could form this powerful Little Universe!

Standing still, Wei Rongcheng spat the cigarette butt onto the ground, then deftly used his foot to kick up a blade from the floor, taking a quick stride forward to meet the rushing subordinates.

Blood sprayed continuously from Zhong Xin’s subordinates, all of them fell into a pool of blood, not even able to defend before being slashed down by Wei Rongcheng.

The few remaining thugs were terrified, losing their fighting spirit, hesitating as they retreated. No one was foolish enough to charge forward, facing him would only mean getting slashed, posing no threat at all!

Seeing this, Jiao Yunda sneered, took a fierce drag of his cigarette before tossing it to the ground and stomping it out. He similarly kicked up a blade from the floor and charged fiercely at Wei Rongcheng.

Soon, the two of them were brandishing blades, hacking at each other. Their ages and backgrounds were similar, so their strengths were evenly matched. Neither could gain an advantage over the other, but neither suffered any loss either. Thus, they engaged in an intense battle, momentarily turning the sky dark.

After dozens of moves, both had injuries but not severe ones. After all, these were two noble young masters prioritizing their own safety, focusing on defense, so although the scene was intense, the bloodshed wasn’t heavy.

But towards the end, both couldn’t help but get heated; each wanted to stab the other to death, resulting in simultaneous forceful strikes. The sound of blades clashing was melodious, yet terrifying.

A moment later, both Wei Rongcheng and Jiao Yunda swung their blades towards each other’s necks. Strangely, both didn’t dodge; instead, they stepped forward, placing their blades against each other’s necks, glaring angrily.

Clearly, they were evenly matched, capable of injuring each other, but if they truly injured each other, they’d also end up hurt.

Thus, the two stood still, glaring at each other, their eyes red with a fierce killing intent.

In such a scenario, neither moved a muscle. Clearly, they wouldn’t go down together, as that would mean a loss for both.

At this moment, the sound of sirens blared from outside the hotel.

Soon, a group of police officers rushed in, led by a familiar face to Lin Mu, none other than Liu Zhongyong, who had arrested him and taken him to the police station just days before.

Upon entering, Liu Zhongyong glanced at Jiao Yunda and Wei Rongcheng and asked, "Young Master Jiao, Young Master Wei, what seems to be the issue here?"

Neither Wei Rongcheng nor Jiao Yunda responded; instead, they continued to glare at each other.

"Young Master Jiao, Young Master Wei, don’t make things difficult for me. Let’s put down the blades first, alright?" Liu Zhongyong spoke as he took the blades from their hands.

Liu Zhongyong took their blades away, tossing them to the ground as he smiled, trying to play mediator, saying, "Young Master Jiao, Young Master Wei, whatever it is you can sit down and talk about it, no need to resort to violence. Injuring each other helps no one. Let’s consider this matter over, out of respect for me."

Jiao Yunda glanced at Wei Rongcheng, then smiled at Liu Zhongyong, saying, "Officer Liu, rest assured, I’ll respect you and won’t cause you any trouble."

"Thank you, Young Master Jiao." Liu Zhongyong replied with a smile.

Wei Rongcheng also glanced at Jiao Yunda, then smiled at Liu Zhongyong, "Officer Liu, sorry to trouble you with this matter."
