Chapter 332: Chapter 329: Hurry to the Rescue

"That’s right." Feng Hao chuckled dryly, stepping out from behind the counter. "What can I do for you, Brother Sword Song?"

Yun Jiansong looked a bit awkward. "I just wanted to ask where Elder Tang from the blacksmith shop next door has gone."

"Oh, so you were looking for Elder Tang, Brother Sword Song?" Feng Hao said in surprise. "To be honest, I haven’t seen him in a long time either."

"Is that so?" Yun Jiansong looked slightly disappointed and turned to leave. "In that case, I won’t disturb your business, Brother Feng. I’ll take my leave."

Feng Hao paused for a moment, then quickly called out to him. "Wait," he said, curious. "If you don’t mind me asking, Brother Sword Song, what did you need Elder Tang for?"

"Well..." Yun Jiansong hesitated, his brow furrowed. "It’s nothing major, really. I just wanted to ask Elder Tang to forge a Tier Five sword for me."

"If that’s the case, you can just ask me," Feng Hao said with a slight grin.

"What do you mean? You know how to forge too, Brother Feng?" Yun Jiansong asked, stunned.

"To tell you the truth, I’ve been learning how to forge from Elder Tang for some time now. If you trust me, Brother Sword Song, you can leave it to me."

With Feng Hao’s confirmation, Yun Jiansong was even more astonished. After wrestling with the idea, he gritted his teeth and made a decision. "I trust you wouldn’t lie to me, Brother Feng. Here are the materials I prepared. Take a look and see if it’s enough."

"Four standard metal ingots is plenty. Whoa, refined cold iron, no less. Not bad!" Feng Hao said with a teasing smile.

"Alright then. I’ll come back to pick it up in two days."

"Sounds good." Feng Hao nodded, then looked up and asked, "Do you have any specific requirements for the sword, Brother Sword Song?"

"Standard size is fine, but make the hilt a little longer. If possible, I’d prefer an octagonal blade," Yun Jiansong said thoughtfully.

"No problem." Feng Hao smiled confidently, mentally noting Yun Jiansong’s requests. "By the way," he added, "do you and Elder Tang know each other, Brother Sword Song?"

"I wouldn’t say we ’know’ each other; we’ve just done business a few times," Yun Jiansong said with a smile. "The sword I’m currently using was forged by him."

"I see." Feng Hao nodded in understanding, then continued, "You seem to have a particular fondness for forged weapons, Brother Sword Song?"

Yun Jiansong paused for a moment, then chuckled. "Well, I’m a Sword Technique Master. It’s only natural to use forged weapons."

"Oh? Why is that?"

"It’s simple. Forged weapons are better suited for performing Swordsmanship, and they allow a Swordsman to form a bond with their blade more easily," Yun Jiansong explained with a light laugh. "Take me, for example. If I use a weapon made through standard Artifact Refining, it feels very unnatural. With a forged weapon, however, I can sync with it almost immediately."

"Wow, I had no idea there were so many intricacies," Feng Hao said, his horizons broadened.

After a bit more small talk, Yun Jiansong departed, having arranged to pick up the sword from Feng Hao in two days.

With a new forging commission, Feng Hao couldn’t be bothered to dwell on the "MP4 player" issue any longer. He promptly closed up shop and headed to the Thief God Hall to select his materials.

His recent expedition into the Secret Realm had sparked a keen interest in forging. Since he’d already agreed to make a weapon for Yun Jiansong, he figured he might as well forge one for Yao Girl, too.

But Xi Yueyao’s weapon was a long whip, which could only be crafted from a few rare metals that were both flexible and exceptionally tough.

Fortunately, the Thief God Hall’s Treasure Pavilion had a comprehensive selection of materials. After spending over five thousand points, he successfully acquired two pieces of Jade Lotus Gold and one of Water Pattern Steel—materials perfectly suited for crafting a whip.

Of course, pure metal alone wouldn’t make a good long whip; it needed a beast sinew for its core.

Therefore, Feng Hao spent another 1,200 points to get a Tier Five Earth Dragon Sinew. While he was at it, he also picked up some common alchemy ingredients and a few jade slip books, spending a total of 8,620 points.

When he emerged from the Thief God Hall, his Thief’s Mark showed 68,688 points remaining—more than enough for him to splurge with for a good while.

Besides, business at the Wind Clothing Store was steadily earning him more points, so Feng Hao wasn’t too concerned about his expenditure.

Just as Feng Hao was about to head back to his general store and begin forging, he received a Divine Sense message from Xi Yueyao.

"What’s the matter, Yao Girl? Aren’t you supposed to be in class?" Feng Hao asked, confused.

The words had barely left his mouth when the little girl’s urgent shout came through the Listening Stone. "Medicine seller! Come save me, quick!"

Feng Hao’s expression tightened. "Don’t be afraid, Yao Girl," he said hurriedly. "Where are you? Your husband is on his way."

"I’m in the Magical Injury Department," the little girl answered.

"..." Feng Hao was exasperated. "You didn’t go looking for trouble with Xie Xiaoyu again, did you?"

"Well, I just wanted to show off a little in front of her! Who knew she’d find some pretty upperclassman to back her up? Now I’ve been frozen into an ice sculpture," Xi Yueyao whined.

Not knowing whether to laugh or cry, Feng Hao said, "Alright, just hang on for a bit. I’m on my way."

"Then hurry! I can’t hold on much longer."

Hearing this, Feng Hao didn’t dare waste a second. He spun his vehicle around and floored it toward the Magical Injury Department’s campus, asking for more details as he drove. "By the way, who is this ’pretty upperclassman’ you mentioned?"

"She’s probably an upperclassman from the Magical Injury Department. I think her name is Bai Yin or something," Xi Yueyao replied with a pout.

"Bai Yin?" Feng Hao said, startled. "Given her personality, I can’t see her brutally attacking a junior student."

"Who says she wouldn’t? She froze this young lady into an ice sculpture!" the little girl huffed.

"Alright then. We’ll sort it out when I get there." Feng Hao frowned and cut the Listening Stone connection, his mind filled with questions.

’In my memory, Bai Yin might have been a bit dense, but she was a decent person. As the academy’s number one beauty, she shouldn’t be the type to bully the younger students.’

’Also, when did Xie Xiaoyu and Bai Yin team up? Isn’t she Xie Kuangfeng’s sister?’

’Could it be that Xie Kuangfeng and Bai Yin have a thing for each other?’

Filled with questions, Feng Hao rushed to the Magical Injury Department’s campus without pause. It was the same academic building, the same kind of scene, the same familiar feeling as last time.

The only difference was that this time, Xie Kuangfeng had been replaced by the academy’s number one beauty, Bai Yin.

Perhaps because of Bai Yin’s presence, the area outside the academic building was packed shoulder to shoulder, completely impenetrable. New and old students alike had gathered, all to gaze upon Bai Yin’s stunning beauty.

In the center of the crowd, a group of first-year students from the Power Department and another from the Magical Injury Department stood on opposing sides. Judging by their dirt-streaked and dejected faces, they had clearly just been through a nasty fight.

Dressed in white, Bai Yin stood poised in the center of the crowd. Her dark hair swayed gently, partially obscuring her exquisite face.

"What a terrifying defense. It’s completely immune to damage. Is it a Secret Technique? A bloodline ability? Or something else?" Bai Yin’s beautiful eyes flickered with shock and uncertainty. With a wave of her fair hand, gusts of chilling wind howled forth.

However, Xi Yueyao, encased in the ice sculpture, remained completely unharmed. Her middle finger was raised, aimed squarely and provocatively at Bai Yin.

Faced with the middle finger from the ice sculpture, even someone as good-tempered as Bai Yin was trembling with rage. She gritted her teeth, her voice seething, "You insolent little brat! I’m going to teach you a proper lesson today!"

The next moment, magical light flared up around Bai Yin’s entire body. A frigid gale raged forth, tearing through the air like a whirlwind of blades as it shot forward.

Feng Hao arrived just in time to see this unfold. He leaped forward and shouted, "Hey, you! Show some mercy—!"
