The rise of the pervert primordial

All the leaders from the respective smaller groups that conformed Wade’s side, immediately gathered in front of the Cascade young Lord.

“What does young Lord Wade mean by saying there are no rewards?”, asked the female representative from the Pleasure Palace, to which the male representative added.

“Yeah, it’s already bad enough that we had wounded on our side because there was a mistake when determining the concept of the trial”.

While the female elder was worried about not getting anything after making her subordinates fight the golems, the male elder was livid because his side as secondary path body cultivators of course directly tried to clash with the golems head on and were all sent flying with bruised shoulders as a result.

It’s worth mentioning that the female elders only jumped in after it was determined that this was the energy trial, since it was decided that the male elders will take the benefits for the body trial while they will enjoy the benefits from the energy trial, and so even if they didn’t know the conditions to pass the trial, since they attacked with spirit energy, they hadn’t suffered like the male elders.

The other groups made similar arrangements, but if what Wade just told them was real, then it was all for naught, which is what was weighting on the heads of all the present leaders.

Speaking of Wade, he saw the angered and accusative expressions that a few of the leaders were giving him and inwardly snorted to then say.

“It’s exactly as I said, back at the soul trial I wasn’t the only one to notice that there was something ongoing on the soul cultivators from the Myriad Occupation sect, right”, Wade glared at the leader from the Blazeheart family, who was originally a peak Void Manipulation a body and soul cultivator of course.

And surprisingly was the only one outside of the influence of the three big forces that also noticed, the other side was getting benefited by the trial before the rewards were awarded, as to why he didn’t say anything, that’s because he wanted to monopolize the opportunity for the Blazeheart family, but at the end of the day no one on their side got anything.

“Ahem, now that the young Cascade Lord mentions it, there was a certain strange “atmosphere” around those guys when participating in the trial”, he said, to divert the attention from his selfish actions.

“Well, I just fulfilled the specific conditions of this trial and got absolutely nothing out of it”, said Wade, which made the expressions on most of the leader’s faces sour on the spot.

“Couldn’t it be that the rewards for the energy trial will only be distributed at the end?”, asked the elder from the Bayer family, which made Wade shake his head in response.

“I don’t know, but what I can affirm is that the vast majority of the ones participating aren’t in the condition to fulfill the requirements to pass the trial, after all out of all the participants, around three fourth parts are energy and soul cultivators who haven’t recovered from the soul trial”.

“And what would those “harsh” conditions would be?”, asked the elder from the Marsh Domain, which made Wade slightly grit his teeth.

‘Look at these lowlife bastards getting ahead of themselves’, he thought but, on the outside, he kept a calm expression as he explained.

“It requires energy cultivators to perfectly time out a discharge of spirit energy when clashing head on against the attack of those golems, if you miss even in the slightest, then you’ll end up with a temporarily useless arm, and that is only one of the three conditions, there was a second and probably a third one even”.

Since Wade didn’t continue with Mobilization, he didn’t know to what extent did the trial went, in part because he lost interest after realizing there was no benefit and in part because he only succeeded by pure luck

“And if we combine that with the almost certain possibility that there is no reward, then we’ll just be tiring ourselves for nothing… no, even worse, we’ll be simply making a fool of ourselves for the entertainment of that bastard”, he said as he glared in Aster’s direction.

The other leaders followed Wade’s eyes and were welcomed by the sight of a black-haired youth mockingly waving his right hand at them, Aster was leisurely supervising the battlefield, fighting waves of three to four golems since he had the little wyrm coiled around his arm so he was attracting twice the number of enemies he should have, and still found the time to mock Wade and the others.

‘Damn annoying bastard’, finally there was something in which all the leaders agreed, their opinion about Aster, anyway what Wade told them made complete sense.

“Of course, if any of your groups wishes to dance at that guy’s rhythm, I won’t stop you from doing so, however don’t blame me if your subordinates riot when after being nearly beaten to a pulp, they get nothing out of it”, concluded Wade, which made some of the leaders clench their fists.

Due to Wade’s arrangements, they had clearly shown who they favored, so dissension had spread among a few of their groups, unfortunately they couldn’t simply put the blame on Wade, because even if he took the decision they didn’t speak against it, but simply followed his arrangement and now they had to pay the consequences of excessive passiveness.

“Damn it, members of the Blazeheart family, blast those damn things away!”, exclaimed the Blazeheart elder, he just saw one of the young masters that were sent with him to gain experience, getting his leg crushed by the golem, after he had lost mobility of one of his arms.

It wasn’t let alone fatal but even a permanent wound, but it didn’t look like something that could be instantly healed with a pill or elixir, unless we are talking about the real expensive ones, in other words Immortal grade ones, and those of course couldn’t be used for non-deadly wounds, at least not on those guys who weren’t even heir candidates.

It was an awkward situation in which the Blazeheart elder had to give face to the cousin of those guys, who was an actual heir, but also couldn’t overstep certain boundaries, which is why he simply sent everything to hell and ordered his group to bombard the golems.

The other leaders followed right away, and in a matter of seconds the small number of golems that were fighting against Wade’s side, were repelled by a rain of wide area energy attacks.

Of course, the most that could do, was force the golems back after they broke out of the wide area explosion the golems charged back at them which forced those guys to use another wave of wide area energy attacks.

In the process, some of the golems ended up losing an arm here and there, by mere luck but nothing besides that, Wade’s strategy worked, the golems couldn’t wound them if they were constantly pushed back, so his side stopped receiving bruised shoulders on the spot.

In comparison, since the girls from the Myriad Occupation sect were so adamant in fulfilling the conditions of the trial, the proper way, a few ended up wounded, mostly the youngest disciples and a few of the seniors who missed the moment to dodge.

That being said, unlike the people on Wade’s side, those fierce girls didn’t let out a peep even when they were sent flying due to the golem’s heavy punches, they simply moved aside for a moment so that some of the elders and disciples that weren’t participating could bandage their wounds, before charging back into the battlefield.

Of course, the golems weren’t kind enough to simply let their opponents go, so when one of the disciples needed to go out to receive first aid, someone from the “monstrous group” intercepted said golem and held it back for that disciple.

Naturally, the monstrous group is conformed of the girls that can take on more than ten golems with ease and still fulfill the conditions for the trial, without any problem, like the ligress girl who though “grumpily” was complying with Kana’s petition of helping the other sisters.

Besides Mira who couldn’t refuse the puppy eyes of the little girl, very much to Aster’s amusement, the others that could basically toy with the golems were also from Aster’s close group, to be more specific they were, Eris, Mylene, Felicia and surprisingly Angela who as a single energy path cultivator could have ended up really wounded if a single attack landed on her, simply extended her hands in a specific position and the golems punched in that exact direction as if they were helping her pass the trial on purpose. Besides those monstrous girls, Agnes, Sarina, Alexandra and Camila get an honorific mention for dealing with around seven or eight golems at the same time, when the girls from the sect needed some help.

Of course, there were others who didn’t lose by much when compared with the monstrous group, like Valentina, Mikaela and Layla, who by the way were in awe at how skilled were Eris and the others when it came to manipulating spirit energy, especially Valentina, she could deal with ten golems with relative ease, but then she saw Agnes not being too far from her and couldn’t help but be surprised by it.

‘That body training obsessed girl has become so skilled when dealing with spirit energy, it hasn’t been that long since I witnessed her skills, so how did she grow up so much in just a couple of month…’, Valentina’s train of thought stopped in cold as a realization hit her like a bolt out of the blue.

She couldn’t help but steal a gaze at the black-haired dragon youth, her little sister had exponentially grown in the past months, which is the window of time that has passed since she met Aster.

Of course, Valentina isn’t saying that Agnes is not to be credited for the improve she has shown, but Agnes’s energy manipulation mastery had surpassed hers when she was at the peak of the Genesis Manifestation realm, like her!

And unlike Agnes who is a black sheep among the Fey princesses, Valentina didn’t deviate from the traditional when it came to energy path by splitting her attention to train her body, though she indeed didn’t follow the usual when it came to the soul path as her interest lied in condensation.

‘I could still somewhat understand how Nerissa and that little girl from the Fireheart family could benefit from his influence given that his sword intent surpasses anyone within their range of age, but Agnes has third level intent already and there is no way her interest in body training has diminished in the slightest, meaning that she didn’t just simply change her focus, just what kind of “miraculous medicine” did he use on them…’, wondered the purple lightning princess.

The curiosity was killing her, the growth that her younger sister exhibited was out of what she believed to be possible, at least without using high Immortal grade pills and elixirs, and even heirs from the ruler and upper first tier families and forces, can’t get their hands on such extremely precious things with ease, besides very few select instances when their families are willing to open their treasure vaults for them, and there hasn’t been one in the recent let alone months but even years within the Fey family.

Aster who could feel Valentina’s gaze piercing a hole on his back, couldn’t help but clear his throat to then speak in a voice only she could hear.

‘Ahem, miss Valentina can ask as much as she wants later, but for now let’s focus on dealing with the golems’, he said which made Valentina’s face cutely blush on the spot, it’s not the first time she has ended up unconsciously staring at Aster out of curiosity, just to be noticed by him.

That being said, she is not one to shy away so easily when she is interested in something, and specially because unlike Agnes who is unaware that the reason as to why she is so infatuated with Aster, is already past the stage of what can be blamed on her Fey lineage and soul constitution, she knows that her younger sister has started to fall for him, so the lightning princess isn’t as easy to “intimidate” as her younger sister.

‘Very well, we’ll talk after this…’, she mumbled in response, which took Aster by surprise, Agnes would have been too embarrassed to answer in her position, but apparently Valentina was quite the responsible girl even in such miscellaneous subjects.

‘My, you are in trouble this time darling, it looks like you’ll have to take responsibility for captivating the heart of that little princess from the Fey, on the other hand why not aim to take down a “few” more since that is the case~’, jokingly said Lilia from within the mind space, which made Aster bitterly smile to his insides.

All the previous happened under the bloodshot eyes of Wade, who saw Aster leisurely floating above the battlefield, even taking the time to “flirt” with the purple lightning princess, while the number of wounded on his side increased, though they were in a much better condition than the ones from his side.

Speaking of which, the Cascade young Lord couldn’t help but frown as he saw the couple of people that were battling the golems at close combat from his own side, namely a couple of mercenaries and Fawn’s group

“Hey, what the hell are you guys doing, join the others and use wide area energy attacks to push back those things already!”, he shouted, to which Fawn directly said.

“I want to try and see if I can defeat a golem”, said the potential princess, as she dodged the giant rock fist coming at her shoulder, one of her subordinates wasn’t fast enough and ended up being sent flying in the process, but Fawn didn’t falter in the slightest.

As for the two mercenaries, they outright ignored Wade’s “order”, he wasn’t the one that hired them anyway, so they had no reason to listen to him, at least not when they weren’t getting in the way of the group, only their arms were at stake here, so no one could complain about it.

‘Tsk, fools, oh well, I can use those two as example and if Fawn’s lackeys end up wounded, it will be easier to gain some points with her, by giving them some healing pills and elixirs’, thought Wade.

Since the trial wasn’t going to give them any benefit, he lost any interest on it, now he just needed for it to end, so that they could rest, unfortunately and contrary to what he expected more than fifteen minutes had passed and the vast majority of golems kept charging at them.

‘What the hell is going on, why aren’t those things leaving already!’, he swore in his heart, to then glare on Aster’s direction, a large batch of golems just sank into the ground, completely disappearing from the battlefield, which resulted in the girls that were fighting them, cheering on the spot.

“Yeei, we did it!”, exclaimed a girl from the Black Sword faction, and this scene started to occur all over the side from the Myriad Occupation sect, with mere seconds to around a minute or two of difference, the golems that were attacking them started disappearing one after the other, until not a single one remained.

“What the hell, why are they not being attacked anymore, we’ll run out of spirit energy at this rate!”, shouted a female elder from the Pleasure Palace.

Just as those guys were about to demand an explanation from Aster, thinking it was another one of his tricks, they saw a group of around six golems from their side, disappear into the ground, they were the ones that Fawn’s group and the mercenaries were fighting, it’s worth mentioning that all of them had at least a bruised arm, one of the mercenaries had lost mobility of both one arm and a leg even, and surprisingly Fawn had taken a hit for one of her subordinates, so that he wouldn’t end up in a similar situation.

“Don’t tell me that we’ll have to fight those damn things indefinitely unless we do it that way…”, said the representative from the Bayer family.

They have been fighting for more than half an hour already, and half of that consisted in them bombarding the golems with wide area energy attacks, they had used more than half of their energy reserves at this point and they realized that recovering from the exhaustion caused by a trial was harder than usual, thanks to how worn out ended the soul cultivators after the soul trial.

Now add to that, the fact that Aster of course couldn’t let a chance to kick them when they were down, as soon as it presented itself, by saying.

“Remember to not take the easy path just because it appears to be the shortest route, you’ll end up having to do twice the work just for a moment of laziness”, the girls from the sect who were all tired nodded in unison as they sat down to recover by drinking refreshers and eating sweets and cookies, while the wounded were tended by the elders and senior disciples from the Green Lotus.

Wade’s eyes nearly spat fire, the members of his group were already discontent with his lead and Aster kept adding fuel to the fire, what made it worse is that the ones from his own side who disobeyed his orders, namely those mercenaries and Fawn’s group, were also sitting and resting.

“Keep pushing those damn things back, I’ll get the answer you guys want!”, he shouted as he charged at a golem, after getting to know the first condition of the trial, it was simple for the Cascade young Lord to replicate his previous lucky success, which led him to the second condition in a matter of seconds, but he then got stuck on the third condition for a couple of minutes, which was equal to three discharges of wide area energy attacks.

Just when the patience of the other groups was about to run out, Wade finally fulfilled the third condition and all the rules of the trial were transmitted to his mind, like it happened to Aster.

“There is a set time limit, for those golems that had lost an arm at least, they will remain here for fifteen minutes, as for the others they won’t leave until half an hour has passed!”, he shouted, which caused discontent on the others.

“What the hell, we have to keep throwing wide area energy attacks for another ten minutes?”, said an elder from the Marsh Domain.

“If only a certain someone would have taken a couple of minutes to learn this, we would have saved a lot of spirit energy and half an hour of wasted time, not to mention a lot of wounds”, added the representative from the Marius family.

The previous resulted in a bunch of people discussing with each other, and a Wade who was livid, he was the target of critique for everyone on his side as of current.

“Enough, you guys complain as if you had done something to help, I was the one that discovered the method to pass the trial, without me you bastards would have had your arms and legs broken by those things, and now you are complaining just because you have to endure a few more minutes throwing attacks to the golems from safety!”, said Wade with an incensed voice.

That actually made a few people feel ashamed enough to shut up and return to continue pushing the golems back, but there were also a few who refused to see any fault on their side, when it was easier to just put all the blame on Wade, especially those that had sowed dissension by choosing clear favorites earlier.

And so, Aster and the girls from the sect, enjoyed some nice “fireworks” caused by the guys on Wade’s side having to release wide area energy attacks continuously, while the girls from the sect were enjoying snacks and chatting with each other, something that lasted another fifteen minutes, before all the golems finally left.

At this point, the energy cultivators on Wade’s group were pale, some even failed to throw any energy attacks and the golems broke through their offense to send them flying with a punch, out of the around fifty people that ended up participating, thirty something had bruised arms and half of them also lost mobility on another limb, be it their other arm a leg, it was a mess.

In comparison, out of the around a hundred and seventy or so girls from the Myriad Occupation sect, only thirty ended up wounded and there was no one who had lost mobility in more than one of their limbs.

The outcome was clear, and as if to rub salt on the wound, flaming words appeared in the middle of the sky.

That alone made most of the wounded guys on Wade’s side grit their teeth, they ended up taking a beating for nothing, of course they weren’t happy, so now imagine their expressions when a second message appeared on the sky.

“What!”, the last message caused quite the commotion, first most if not all from Wade’s side won’t receive treatment, since they didn’t pass any of the conditions of the trial, and second the body trial was… starting right away, it was outrageous.
