Chapter 406: Chapter 276: The Devil Workhorses Are in Position

Even by the aesthetic standards of Hell, Inferior Demons were considered rather unsightly.

"One of my researchers has been specializing in Slimes recently. He invented a Slime-like spray that, when applied to an Inferior Demon, forms a coating that covers them up perfectly."

Zog was referring to Yuno’s peculiar little invention.

They had already summoned a single Inferior Demon to test it. The coating was incredibly durable and hard to remove, yet it didn’t hinder movement. However, the final appearance wasn’t exactly that of a proper Slime.

It was more like a Stinky Mud.

But it didn’t matter. It wasn’t like Feilin had Stinky Muds anyway. As long as they didn’t look scary, that was enough. They could just pass them off as a type of Slime.

Zog had no intention of letting people discover strange creatures in the Factory.

Instead, he planned to proactively introduce the Inferior Demons to the public first.

He had already planted a story in the local newspaper about a "labor-type Slime," describing it as a newly developed Demon, a great helper for work.

He was also preparing to host an event, hiding the spray-coated Inferior Demons in various places around the city for people to find.

A massive, city-wide game of hide-and-seek.

There would be rewards for those who found them.

He believed people would quickly get used to coexisting with the Inferior Demons.

After seeing the Stinky Mud look enough, you’d even start to find them ugly-cute.

Besides, most Inferior Demons couldn’t speak, or they spoke indistinctly, making gurgling sounds. This made them seem even more like actual Stinky Muds.

"In that case, your researcher is really quite impressive," Asmodis praised sincerely.

Through his increased contact with Zog, he had come to the profound realization that science and technology were the primary productive forces. Hell urgently needed a tech-up.

"Hahaha," Zog laughed a bit awkwardly. "He is indeed quite impressive."

In reality, Yuno’s purpose for creating the Slime spray wasn’t for the Inferior Demons. He had been trying to make cosmetics.

Yuno had keenly observed that current cosmetics were not durable and smudged easily, so he wanted to develop a product that wouldn’t come off at all.

The result was a great success.

It was unbelievably durable.

The graduate student who tested it had to use a steel file on his face for several days before his original skin saw the light of day again.

These five thousand-plus Inferior Demons were handed over to the Beastmen to be processed. They were let out of their cages, the "damaged goods" were removed, and the rest were divided into groups to have their "makeup" applied.

One portion, once made up, was sent out to play hide-and-seek, while the others were taken directly to the Factory to begin training.

The opening day of the expo was approaching. Once the Victory automobile was unveiled, purchasing demand was guaranteed to be maxed out.

Zog, meanwhile, accompanied Asmodis on a tour of Deepwater City, showing him the infrastructural might of the Zog Group.

He also took the opportunity to advertise, suggesting that when Hell undertook urban development in the future, they should remember to consider the Zog Group.

As long as the money was right, they could make Hell’s civil engineering projects look beautiful too.

Eventually, the two returned to Zog’s office there.

Asmodis sampled the specialty foods, full of praise for Zog’s little snacks.

At the same time, he began to wonder what kind of garbage he had been eating before.

Zog didn’t expect that Asmodis would eat two bags of crispy noodles and spicy strips and nearly be moved to tears.

It turned out that Hell’s palate was normal; they just didn’t have any decent stuff to eat.

Just then, Asmodis asked, "How is the plan to revamp the image of Devils going? I’m not rushing you. That Red Alert game from before was already very good. The other Devils say they’ve noticed an increase in Devil-worshipping rituals in Feilin recently."

Zog was very confused.

’There are actually people who play a game and end up worshipping Devils?’

Asmodis continued, "But I would like to know if the next step is about to begin. After all, you mentioned that besides the game, there would also be shows, Shadows of Evil, and so on."

Seeking a favor from the Dragon, the Lord of Hell spoke quite politely.

"Of course. It’s been ready for a while, I’ve just been a bit busy and haven’t started yet." As he spoke, Zog took out a script.

Silence of the Lambs.
