But as they walked out of the private room, they ran into a group of people. The one leading the group was someone Yue Jun recognized; it was Wei Hanliang.

Wei Hanliang, seeing Yue Jun coming out of the private room with a man, paused for a moment. Upon recognizing Shi Yang, he couldn’t help but smile and step forward, "Secretary Shi, fancy meeting you here, pleasure to meet you."

The two men shook hands, both wearing composed smiles.

Then Wei Hanliang turned to Yue Jun and said, "Yue Jun, I didn’t expect to see you here too. When did you meet Secretary Shi?" He usually called her Ms. Ding or Miss Ding, but didn’t know why he instinctively called her by her name now.

Hearing Wei Hanliang call her name, Yue Jun paused, but before she could speak, Shi Yang explained with a smile, "Old Ding asked us to have dinner together tonight."

Shi Yang watched as Wei Hanliang and Yue Jun left, squinting his eyes.
