Jinming watched Ye Jia Ren and Yiyi chat with a smile in his eyes. Previously, he had worried that Ye Jia Ren wouldn’t be able to connect with Tingyu’s circle, but he was relieved to see that she got along well with Tingyu’s fiancée.

During this time, Ye Jia Ren talked about some amusing stories from her work.

Wei Zixiao commented from the side, "My sister-in-law may still be in university, but she already has her own career. She’s started a pharmaceutical factory and opened a Wuming Pharmacy on the street, where the medicine pills they sell are quite effective."

Since Wei Zixiao was close to Yiyi, he naturally praised her fervently.

Ye Jia Ren remained full of admiration.

"Regardless, you’re truly amazing. Next time I have the chance, I’ll visit your Wuming Pharmacy and get a prescription for some ointments for my own health."

Yiyi nodded and said, "Sure, winter is a great time for using ointments to nourish the body."

While they were talking, dishes started arriving one after the other.

Jinming busily invited everyone to start eating. Though he carried a scholarly aura and appeared somewhat aloof, he was incredibly attentive to his girlfriend, knowing her tastes well and often serving her favorite dishes.

Similarly, Gu Tingyu continuously served Yiyi her preferred foods, de-shelling her shrimp and picking out fish bones for her.

Watching his two friends’ gestures, Wei Zixiao felt envious. They both had partners, while he was still all alone.

With this thought, Wei Zixiao turned to Yiyi and said, "Sister-in-law, do you know any outstanding girls like yourself? I feel I’m getting older, so I should find a partner. The group continued to eat leisurely, and after finishing, they sat for a while longer before parting ways.

After Jinming and Ye Jia Ren left, Wei Zixiao quickly turned to Yiyi and said, "Sister-in-law, I was serious earlier. If you know any suitable girls, you have to introduce them to me."
