The first thing Kaelen and Sane did upon becoming Deities was to seal away all the past life memories of their six children.

This meant that from now on, the children would grow up like any other normal children. Except for possessing brilliant minds and superior abilities, they would not remember they had once been Gods.

Initially, Edward strongly opposed this. The boy still wanted to accompany his two fathers to the Great World to complete the work they had left unfinished hundreds of millions of years ago. Sane called Edward into a private room. It was unknown what the two discussed, but after coming out of the room, Edward accepted letting Kaelen seal his memories.

Kaelen was curious but did not ask in front of the children.

After sealing the children’s memories, when only the two were alone in private, Kaelen finally asked:

"What did you say to him?"

Sane smiled and said: "I promised him that before they grow up and find their Godhoods themselves, you and I will still wait for them in the Great World. I promised that we will not act alone..."

Kaelen was speechless: "Do not go back on your words when that time comes."

Sane hugged Kaelen, speaking softly: "If I go back on my words, then so be it. Was your original wish not for the children to live carefree lives like normal people?"

Kaelen leaned his head on Sane’s shoulder, sighing: "I still feel a bit reluctant to part with the children."

However, reluctance was just reluctance; they still had to fulfill their responsibilities.

The eight people in their family (of course excluding Ryder because Ryder was only their adopted son) were eight Gods, but only Kaelen and Sane awakened the earliest. This was not because they were stronger, but because they had reincarnated multiple times, causing their Godhoods to become complete and solid.

This lifetime in the Beastman world was not Sane’s first lifetime, just as the lifetime in the Magic world was not Kaelen’s first lifetime either.

Everything was because the remaining six Gods, namely the six children, had sacrificed themselves to help the two of them reestablish their Godhoods.

Therefore, the two of them also had to help the children find their own Godhoods.

Kaelen opened his hands: "Let’s go. Before leaving this place, let’s treat the tribe to a proper feast."

Sane grimaced: "I think we should skip it, otherwise that guy Zale will definitely cling to me without letting go."

Thinking of the scene where Zale cried tragically while grabbing Sane’s leg without letting go, forcing the Lord Chief to use his hands to hold his pants tightly, Kaelen burst into laughter:

"Did you not say you would let Edward be the new Chief, making Zale the boy’s teacher? Why would he still cling to you."

Sane clicked his tongue, ruffling his hair: "It is mainly because I hate the trouble. Watching our children cry tearfully is already heartbreaking enough; now seeing a whole bunch of people crying like it is a funeral, I just want to strike down a blow to flatten the tribe completely."

Kaelen leaned against Sane’s shoulder laughing uncontrollably, finally saying: "Alright then, let’s just leave quietly. Before going, we will leave them a gift."

Sane raised an eyebrow: "What gift?"

Kaelen did not answer, only pulling Sane’s hand to walk towards the hill behind the tribe.

The moon was very full that night. The entire tribe was fast asleep. Only a few fires flickered dimly in the guard area; occasionally there was the sound of someone tossing and turning, grumbling in their tent. Standing on the hilltop looking down, the animal skin and wooden roofs lay closely packed together, small, warm, strangely fragile.

Kaelen turned his palms upward.

A silver halo slowly rose, not glaring, only gentle like mist. It spread out, covered down, seeping into every inch of soil.

Underground, the groundwater veins blocked for hundreds of years were cleared. From now on, the stream flowing through the tribe would never dry up, even encountering the harshest drought year. The surrounding land became fertile; sown seeds would sprout, crops would be laden with fruit. The winter here would be slightly shorter and warmer than other places—just a little bit, enough so the children would not freeze to death, enough for the elderly to live a few more seasons.

Finally, an invisible barrier layer slowly closed in the sky, thin as a breath. High-level wild beasts would automatically detour around this valley. Evil energy, diseases, those bearing malicious intent stepping forward would lose their way without understanding why.

The light gradually dimmed. Kaelen withdrew his hands, letting out a breath.

"It is done."

"The children are here already, is you doing this a bit redundant?" Sane’s expression was somewhat subtle. Kaelen glanced at him:

"My children still have to go to school, do you intend to make them act as guard posts?"

Sane rubbed his nose, feeling guilty. Therefore, he also waved his hand; a blackish-purple lightning sphere hovered in his palm. Sane tossed the sphere high into the sky. The purple lightning sphere touched the barrier Kaelen had set up previously, beginning to spread and merge into one with the barrier.

Kaelen immediately sensed a seething fighting intent. Far away, several night guards and Warriors were awakened by the fighting intent, immediately running out of their posts. They lined up in an orderly formation like during a military parade, taking Zale and the captains as the lead, all facing towards the mountain peak where the Lord Chief and Lord Priest were standing.

They transformed into their beast forms, raising their voices howling loudly together.

The rest of the people in the tribe also woke up, stepping out into the yards, kneeling down together. They kowtowed towards the mountain peak, sending their deepest respect from the bottom of their hearts to the two Deities who had brought light to their lives.

Faith from all directions flew towards the mountain like a tide, falling onto Kaelen and Sane. Kaelen smiled, saying: "You see, they are not crying. Our clan members are much stronger than we thought."

Sane nodded, not saying anything.

Amidst the farewell voices of the clan members, the Space door slowly widened behind their backs. Sane spoke softly:

"Let’s go."

Kaelen lowered his head to look at the panoramic view of the tribe one more time. This place had once been a desolate valley. These people had once been miserable people, struggling to run away seeking survival. He and Sane had once been normal people mixed among them.

Fate always turned; no one dared to be certain they could firmly grasp everything, not even Edward, the person who had been the God of Fate holding the destiny of all living beings in his palms.

Everything, was merely the past.

Now everyone’s life was getting better by the moment; people’s hearts would also gradually change. However, they certainly would not forget how they themselves had once struggled, how they had been saved.

This world would still operate; as for where it would head to, it would no longer be within the scope he could interfere with.

The sky was in the dark night yet a rainbow appeared. Above the rainbow, white clouds hovered around; faintly one could even hear the murmuring sound of some existence. It seemed as if He was saying:

[Goodbye.]

Kaelen smiled: "Goodbye."

Having said that, he turned his head, holding Sane’s hand to step into the Space door.

"Daddy, Papa..."

The voices of the young children called very softly. The couple turned their heads back, seeing their seven children standing far away. The children did not cry; even a crybaby like Orion did not shed tears. They just stood there, as a farewell greeting.

Edward placed a hand on his chest, his lips moving slightly: [You two must definitely wait for us.]

Kaelen’s and Sane’s bodies stiffened slightly for a bit, then broke into a bitter smile. This boy Edward had definitely cheated. He still remembered everything clearly.

The two could only helplessly nod.

Kaelen stared yearningly at the children until the Space door closed completely. Before his vision disappeared, he saw the teardrops sliding down the children’s cheeks. Kaelen buried his head into Sane’s embrace, letting out soft sobbing sounds.

On the mountain peak, Oliver looked at the place the two fathers disappeared, asking Edward softly: "Eldest brother, when will our two fathers return?"

Edward lowered his head to ruffle the boy’s hair, saying: "Why wait for our two fathers to return? As long as we become stronger, we can go look for them ourselves."

Ryder clung to Edward’s arm, asking hesitantly: "Can I, can I go with everyone?"

For a long time, the boy had known his family were all not normal people. The boy always feared he would be left behind.

Edward tilted his head to stare intently at Ryder, his mouth corners curving up: "Of course you can. Alright, let’s go home. We still have to quickly catch up with our two fathers’ footsteps."

The seven brothers immediately supported each other to walk towards the tribe.

Behind them, the first dawn light of the day gradually revealed itself on the horizon.

The book page of this world closed.

At a place very far, very far away, another blank paper page was just flipped open.
