After confirming the items had been sent back safely, the Sane and Kaelen couple decided to go to the Martial God Shrine.

This time going they would head straight to the Western continent afterwards, then there were still many things to do, not knowing when they would meet the Eastern continent people again. Kaelen left behind many blueprints and precious documents, also repeatedly instructing Valmot to pay attention to his health many times, before finally leaving sadly.

The figures of the two people and the two magical beasts flashed once then disappeared before everyone’s eyes; a moment later they were present outside the Martial God Shrine. Sane held out the Guest Elder token; the guard immediately took it and ran off to report.

A moment later, the two of them were invited into the Martial God Shrine’s reception hall. The Temple Master and the Holy Son were both already waiting there.

Just as the two stepped in, the Holy Son’s gaze was glued to Kaelen. Sane sensed his burning un-concealed gaze, immediately shooting killing intent over.

The Holy Son stiffened his body, hurriedly looking away.

Just now he was even intending to go up and challenge Sane to snatch this beautiful Priest; now he did not dare anymore. Could someone tell him, just two short months, why did this snake advance from Intermediate Martial Saint to Saint stage Martial Saint???

Did he take drugs?!

The Temple Master was also surprised about Sane’s cultivation realm, looking carefully again, discovering his eye color and hair color had also changed. He asked curiously:

"Why has your appearance changed? Side effect of realm-advancing drugs?"

Sane: "..."

He truly had a good imagination!

Kaelen smiled: "This is a change due to bloodline; every molting time the form changes. This is his final form."

The Temple Master was curious: "I know Sane is of the Snake clan, but specifically what Snake that can change colors?"

Sane supported his mate to sit down, answering leisurely: "I am of the Soaring Snake clan."

"Soaring Snake?" The Holy Son blurted out: "A snake that can also fly?"

The Temple Master immediately threw an apple over: "Told you to read more books but you refuse. The Soaring Snake clan is an ancient Divine Beast!" Saying that he stepped down from the main seat, approaching in front of Sane, bowing his head respectfully: "Previously we were discourteous, respectfully hope you forgive us."

Sane shook his head: "You also said it is ancient, don’t be so formal. Today we came here to discuss with you some extremely crucial matters, do not let other matters affect it."

The Temple Master and the Holy Son immediately sat upright, ready to listen. Kaelen took a sip of water, frowning because of its sweetness. Seeing Sane still drinking with relish, he suddenly understood this water was mixed according to Sane’s taste. It seemed this Temple Master valued Sane very much.

He did not beat around the bush anymore, speaking directly: "The anomaly two months ago in the Eastern continent was caused by us."

The Temple Master and the Holy Son jumped up, looking at Sane and Kaelen in terror. Kaelen raised his hand signaling them to sit down first, then continued:

"That day we directly confronted the God of Decay. Although just a residual thought, that was truly the Power of a Deity. If not for the God of War and the God of Nature protecting us, we would have long died leaving no residue."

Sane almost spat all the water in his mouth out. Kaelen secretly pinched him once, telling him to cooperate acting out the whole role. Sane helplessly pinched his finger back. Those were their primordial spirits, it was indeed them protecting themselves; Kaelen saying that was also not wrong at all.

"Everyone." Kaelen said in a deep voice: "The God of Decay has already acted. He originally intended to wait for a while longer, but his plans were always ruined by us, therefore He could not wait anymore. His servant has arrived in the Eastern continent, wanting to take the Heart of the Moon God."

Sane continued: "The four hearts of the four Deities represent natural rules, respectively the Wood God representing Spring, the Fire God representing Summer, the Moon God representing Autumn and the Ice God representing Winter.

These four hearts have two layers of meaning. If they can naturally converge, that is the resurrection for the Beastman Continent.

But if they are polluted before converging, then the thing it resurrects is the God of Decay at his peak state. The Great World will immediately turn into a dead land. When the God of Decay absorbs the Great World’s origin, He will fuse with many other Gods of Decay in the three thousand worlds, invading the World Origin.

Once the World Origin collapses, there will be no more living beings in this world. Do you know what that means?"

The reception hall fell dead silent.

The Temple Master sat still for a very long time, his hand placed on the chair armrest gripping so tightly the ironwood creaked. He had lived one thousand seven hundred years, had heard all sorts of rumors about Deities, but never had anyone sat before him saying the words "no more living beings" with a calm voice like discussing the harvest season.

The Holy Son’s face was completely drained of blood. He swallowed hard, asking the first sentence:

"Then... what about this Beastman continent?"

Kaelen glanced at him once: "The Beastman continent is only a small piece of the Great World. You asking this question is like asking when the whole house burns down is the bed leg okay."

The Holy Son: "..."

The Temple Master suddenly jerked his head up: "Then who was the person separating the Beastman continent into four parts?"

"Initially I thought it was the God of Decay." Kaelen caressed the rim of the ceramic teacup: "Until two months ago I finally knew, the ones separating them were exactly those four Deities themselves."

He stood up walking to the middle of the main hall, walking to the wall fully painted with blurred paintings of the Martial God Shrine. He pressed his hand onto it; the blurry paintings immediately seemed newly painted, each frame flawlessly recreated.

Sane walked over standing behind him; the Temple Master and the Holy Son also left their seats, stepping forward to look carefully. Kaelen pointed at each stage in the wall painting, slowly explaining:

"Hundreds of millions of years ago, the Great World was ruled by seven Good Deities and one Demon God. Under these Deities were other Deities, the Beast God and the four Deities ruling the four seasons were among them.

Elf King Sylvain, the person most favored by the God of Light at that time, betrayed the Gods. He took advantage of the God of Light’s trust and his status in the Deities’ hearts, secretly implanting the Seed of Decay into their bodies. This seed wore down the Subordinate Gods’ will, polluting their Divine Energy. The God of Decay’s power also skyrocketed accordingly, leading to the war of the Deities and the subsequent collapse of the Great World."

The Holy Son could not help but interject: "Why did the Elf King betray the Gods?"

Kaelen discreetly glanced at Sane once, saying: "Deceived in love by a Deity."

The Temple Master and the Holy Son were stunned. They had tried associating with many scenarios, just not expecting the answer to be so soul-shaking. The Holy Son even wanted to ask which Deity it was, but the Temple Master hurriedly covered his mouth.

This brat dared to be curious about Deities’ matters, thinking his life was too long right?!

Kaelen did not continue talking about Sylvain anymore, but continued walking to the next painting:

"The Elf clan and the Beastman clan from then on also turned into enemies; the war between the two clans lasted for dozens of centuries, implicating other clans also not having a single peaceful day. These four Subordinate Gods representing the seasons used their last bit of reasoning, splitting the Great World into many minor worlds, then choosing the Beastman continent as the place maintaining the barrier."

"After the four Deities passed away, the God of Decay’s power decreased by half. The Beast God self-detonated his own Primordial Spirit to drag Sylvain and all of the God of Decay’s subordinates to be buried along, leaving an opportunity for the eight True Gods to eradicate the God of Decay."

"However, the God of Decay can only be sealed not eradicated, because He was born from the evil thoughts of all living beings. The Great World’s living beings experienced a seemingly endless war, abandoned by the Gods, therefore their resentment ceaselessly provided power for the God of Decay."

"The eight True Gods, after managing to seal the God of Decay, also fell."

Kaelen stopped, turning his head looking at the Temple Master and the Holy Son: "The Wood God’s Heart Crimson has managed to protect. Sylvain’s reincarnation, also Rylan, has obtained the Ice God’s Heart. As for the Fire God’s Heart located on this Eastern continent, a few days ago we went to its location, but it had disappeared."

The Temple Master’s face turned pale white: "Did they get it?"

Sane shook his head: "The seal remains intact, proving that it was not taken by outsiders. In this case, it can only be said that it ran away by itself; as for where it ran to, forgive us for not being able to know."

The Holy Son gaped, finally blurting out an extremely sincere sentence:

"Even a Deity’s heart knows how to run away from home?"

Answering him was a ’loving’ kick from the Temple Master.

After kicking his younger brother flying far away, the Temple Master calmly retracted his leg, turning to ask Kaelen with a serious expression:

"If so, we only need to find the Fire God’s Heart, then protect these two Hearts well and it’s done right?"

Sane shook his head: "As long as Sylvain finds the remaining two hearts and pollutes them, it is already enough to summon the God of Decay. Although like that the God of Decay’s power won’t have much left, but do not forget, the Gods have already fallen."

Kaelen continued: "Some unpolluted Subordinate Gods can also resurrect. Those bearing Divine Energy on the continent currently all bear the bloodlines of the Subordinate Gods, but even when True Gods resurrect, they also need time to grow strong. And how can their growing strong time be faster than the God of Decay’s evil-thought-absorbing time. He only swinging a slap over can slap them to death."

The Temple Master’s face turned pale, saying tremblingly: "Then... then what to do now?!"

"Link the four continent pieces together, using our own power to confront the Deity." Sane patted the Temple Master’s shoulder: "Not telling you guys to use your Martial weapons to slash the Deity, but to protect your own souls, do not let yourselves be polluted by evil thoughts."

The Holy Son having just been kicked away scrambled running back, wiping the blood at the corner of his mouth, saying: "What do we need to do?"

Sane spread his hands, saying solemnly:

"Use your own influence to solidify the faith of the people on the continent. Let them believe that the Gods have never abandoned them!"
