On the way back to the guest housing area, Magnus said goodbye to Sane and Kaelen’s couple, running off to handle official duties.

The two walked slowly on the paved stone path, talking softly about the information received today.

"The Holy Son..." Kaelen spoke, his voice dropping low, "This name makes me unconsciously surge with disgust from the bottom of my heart." It made him remember the tragic end of the Former Holy Son and his son.

Sane nodded, "It makes me remember the helplessness when watching my son in danger without being able to do anything."

"The Head Divine Attendant’s faction is searching for people with Divine Energy." Kaelen narrowed his eyes, "If they know about us..."

"Then they already know." Sane interrupted, "Alaric said the Martial God Shrine knows about our Divine Energy. That means all three factions already know."

Kaelen remained silent. That also meant their family had become a surveillance target of the Martial God Shrine long ago. Alaric’s invitation, the timely appearance at the Narrow Pass, the Guest Elder token, all were not coincidences.

"Where will we go first?" Sane asked, his voice as calm as if asking what to eat tonight.

Kaelen thought for a moment, "First of all, we will stay at the Black Bear until treating all their clan members. Then we will go to the Golden Bull tribe that Magnus mentioned. Let’s see if their array is usable."

Sane raised an eyebrow, "Not going to the Martial God Shrine right away?"

"No rush." Kaelen shook his head, "Magnus said Golden Bull is a friendly tribe. If we can make another ally and get more information about the array, we will have an advantage when entering the Martial God Shrine. Moreover..."

He turned his head to look towards the guest housing area, where the children were playing with Finnick and Chloe.

"We need to ensure the safety of the Rabbit clan first. Bringing them to the Martial God Shrine is too dangerous. If the Golden Bull agrees to let them stay, or if the Golden Bull’s array is usable, we can bring them back to the Southern continent immediately."

Sane nodded, "Not leaving them at the Black Bear clan anymore?"

Kaelen shook his head, "I realized the Black Bear clan although strong is too restricted among the factions in the Eastern continent. If the Red Snake clan uses the Holy Son’s name to suppress, they will not be able to protect the Rabbit clan. The Golden Bull clan is different, they stand in a neutral position, having their own principles. The Martial God Shrine will not arbitrarily interfere in the internal affairs of the Golden Bull clan."

"Your analysis makes sense, everything will follow your arrangement."

That evening, after arranging everything for the next day, Kaelen sat alone on the flat rock in front of the house. He twirled the Guest Elder token in his hand, the silver trim reflecting the dim moonlight.

The Martial God Shrine, three factions, people with Divine Energy.

Everything seemed to be gradually connecting together, seemingly clear yet seemingly too blurry. Kaelen felt as if he had grasped everything but also as if he understood nothing.

Sane stepped out from inside the house, draping an animal skin over his mate’s shoulders. He did not say anything, just silently sat down beside Kaelen.

"Sane, I have decided. If possible, I want to bring the clan members and the children back first."

Sane was startled, "Why?"

Kaelen looked at him, "Did you not previously blame me for exploiting Ryder’s ability? I have thought for a long time, actually I am not only exploiting Ryder, but I am exploiting all our children. Our responsibilities should not force the children to bear them together."

Sane frowned, "Why must you insist on taking this responsibility on yourself, Kaelen? There is not a single Divine Oracle for this, we do not even know what to do!"

Kaelen looked up at the sky, "It is not that there is no Divine Oracle, but it has been hidden. I have strung all the events together, and drawn out the Creator God’s implication.

Initially we wanted to wait for the tribe to become strong before going to the Northern continent. But not long after, Edward was accidentally teleported to the Northern continent earlier than planned, then when we went to find him, after advancing to become stronger we were teleported to the Eastern continent, even thrown into the Illusion Forest facing imminent death. If you say there is no faction playing tricks behind the scenes, I will never believe it.

I bet, if we return together with the children, our whole group will be sent straight to the Western continent, thrown into a survival environment even more dangerous than the Illusion Forest."

Kaelen stroked his face, tilting his head to say to Sane, "Is this not clear enough? The world laws want us to unify the Beastman Continent, but someone does not want this. They fight back and forth, the chosen ones being us instantly become a ball, whoever kicks harder wins. Do you understand my analysis like that?"

Sane’s gaze flickered slightly, "The Heavenly Dao wants to connect the travel path between the continent halves, so they are no longer a disjointed entity. But another faction, possibly the God of Decay himself, wants to stop this. What is the purpose of stopping it?"

Kaelen shook his head, "I cannot figure it out. According to my speculation, the reason the Beastman Continent is divided is due to the impact of the God of Decay, the world laws want to merge them but are hindered by the God of Decay’s intention. Therefore, he has to take a detour. Perhaps before us, there were many chosen people, but all failed. We do not know what number we are chosen by the laws..."

The quiet night sky suddenly blew a light breeze, leaves leaving the branches following the wind flew towards Kaelen and Sane, gently circling around them as if confirming his deduction. The leaves flew a circle then fell down, arranging into the word ’Gather’, before scattering everywhere.

The couple was stunned, then smiled bitterly. Sane sighed:

"It seems your deduction has gone in the right direction... Kaelen, I will accompany you, even if we have to wander to the ends of this earth."

Kaelen did not say anything more, resting his head on Sane’s chest. The two just silently sat on the steps like that until the morning sunlight of the new day appeared behind the overlapping mountain ranges.

Ten days later, with only half a month left until the end of the Autumn days, the treatment work for the Black Bear clan beastmen was basically completed. Draven had taught the Clear Heart potion concoction method to the Black Bear tribe healers, from now on the beastmen in the tribe only need to periodically take the potion to minimize the risk of suffering from madness.

Kaelen and Sane bid farewell to the Black Bear tribe people, following Magnus’s footsteps to the Golden Bull tribe.

This time leaving, Magnus led a team of the most elite soldiers of the Black Bear tribe, causing the Red Snake tribe’s hand to grasp thin air every time it reached out. The Red Snake Chief was so angry he gritted his teeth, immediately sending a letter to the Holy Son.

However, the Holy Son requested them to give up their intention on the Rabbit clan group, shifting direction to closely monitor the Crimson Divine Energy Warriors group. Although very puzzled, the Red Snake clan could only comply.

On the sixth day after leaving the Black Bear tribe, the group set foot in the Golden Bull tribe. The people of the Golden Bull tribe, whether beastmen or Sub-Beasts, all had a pair of horns on their heads, and a tail behind their buttocks. Everyone was tall and burly, twice as big as normal beastmen, with healthy tanned skin.

The only distinguishing feature between Sub-Beasts and beastmen was that beastmen had a patch of white inverted triangle-shaped fur right on their chests, while Sub-Beasts did not.

Kaelen looked up at the Golden Bull tribe Chief before his eyes, sighing with emotion about this nearly three-meter height exceeding the normal threshold. The human form was already this tall and large, when transforming back to beast form, who knows how massive their bodies would be.

The voice of the Golden Bull clan was also booming, no different from the Bear clan, making Kaelen’s head buzz listening to it. Chief Magnus had to step forward to tell the Golden Bull Chief to lower his voice pitch, only then did everyone feel less shocked by the sound.

Oh, everyone only meant the Crimson Warriors, as for the Rabbit clan group, they were so scared by that earth-shattering sound they all fainted. The Golden Bull clan people awkwardly scratched their heads. They normally talked like that, not expecting to cause disaster for the timid Rabbit clan.

From that moment on, the Golden Bull clan people passed around a new guest reception rule: walk lightly, speak softly, smile charmingly.
