Lei Bing’s death shocked the spectators. Nobody had expected a God King to die at the hands of a Major God. The Wealth Faction’s three leaders watched Han Wu’s performance with admiration.

“I see the future of the Divine Civilization in him,” the Wealth God King said.

“He killed the Light God King, the Life God King, and now the Lightning God King. Perhaps I should write a feature piece introducing this God King Slayer to the Divine Civilization,” the Information God King mused. “Might make some of those schemers think twice.”

“Good show! Deserves a tip!” The Gift God King tossed an object through the spectator barrier. It flew straight into Han Wu’s palm.

Han Wu caught it, feeling slightly bewildered. At least until he read its properties.

[Rulebreaker Stone: Override the Divine Civilization’s rules and allow one unit to break past the rank limit of its master. Single use.]

Han Wu was stunned. Some of his most powerful units were already at the Subcosm rank. However, per the Divine Civilization’s rules, even his strongest units were capped as Major Gods because Han Wu was a Major God.

This Rulebreaker Stone could promote one unit from Major God to a God King, granting them a complete Jurisdiction. The resulting power boost would be massive.

The only question was which unit to give it to.

Shelving the decision, Han Wu pocketed the stone and shifted his attention to Di Hong.

With Lei Bing dead, Di Hong’s resistance was collapsing. Dragon Fear affected the Chaos Spirits and hampered their full strength.

Silver Dragon King Erebard had even comprehended a Chaos Jurisdiction embryo by combining water, fire, earth, and wind. Its chaos attacks outclassed the Chaos Spirits themselves.

Erebard led the Great Dragons and the skeleton sea forward to shatter the Chaos Spirits’ defense.

Di Hong demanded a truce. If he had to lose, he wanted to lose with dignity.

Han Wu and Jing Jing ignored him. A truce only made sense in an even fight. Di Hong was in a hopeless position. There was nothing to discuss. They would kill him and his units right here.

Di Hong knew his impending fate the moment Han Wu and Jing Jing refused to negotiate. Fortunately, he still had one last card to play.

Pulling ‌a token from his pocket, he crushed it, and a portal tore open.

A towering figure stepped through. “Who dares harm my son?”

This was Di Hong’s father, the patriarch of the Chaos Clan, Di Bin.[1]

The spectators booed. It was a duel. For the loser to call his father for backup was blatant cheating!

Di Hong didn’t see it that way. With his father behind him, his arrogance returned.

“Father, he’s trying to kill me! He already killed Lei Bing!” Di Hong pointed at Han Wu.

Di Bin glared at Han Wu like he was already looking at a dead man before glancing at Jing Jing. “What about the skeleton, son? What do you want to do with her?”

“Bring her back with us. I’ll punish her personally,” Di Hong said with a grin. With his father here, he felt invincible.

Di Bin nodded and turned to Han Wu. “You have impressive strength for your age, but you should never have crossed the Chaos Clan.”

Chaos Energy gathered in Di Bin’s palm. Han Wu could tell it wasn’t a true Chaos Jurisdiction, but multiple elemental Jurisdictions mixed in a specific ratio. Even so, the pressure it radiated was more terrifying than the real Chaos Jurisdiction.

“Die!” Di Bin flicked a bullet composed of Chaos Energy at Han Wu.

It was small, but Han Wu felt it lock onto him. It couldn’t be dodged!

Gritting his teeth, he crossed Peerless and the Divine Authority greatsword. He then poured everything he had into a combined strike, using both Heaven-Earth Severance and Steelcutter at the same time. The two attacks formed a cross-shaped slash that collided with the bullet.

The explosion was catastrophic. Space itself cracked and groaned. The cracked space healed itself, revealing a still-standing Han Wu. A massive crater was in the ground just ahead of him.

Di Bin was surprised that Han Wu had neutralized his attack, but only mildly. He gathered more Chaos Energy in his palm. This time, the sphere was larger, about the size of a fist.

Han Wu’s brow furrowed. Di Bin was undoubtedly stronger than him. Even that mere fist-sized sphere was a lethal blow.

“To my aid!” he called.

Eight Subcosm fighters, five Dragon Kings, and Jing Jing converged on his position. The skeleton sea became Jing Jing’s energy reserve. They then poured everything they had into Han Wu’s body. Han Wu pulled from his Microcosms as well.

The combined energy nearly tore him apart, even in his True Holy Dragon Transformation form.

Di Bin launched the sphere. The attack locked onto Han Wu again.

Han Wu summoned his clone, Han Guang. After converting every drop of energy in his body into Light Energy through the Conversion Jurisdiction, he funneled it into Han Guang. Han Guang’s Light Jurisdiction included the Radiant God Physique, which allowed him to absorb unlimited Light Energy.

Under that immense power, Han Guang activated his technique, condensing a thousand Microcosms into a single Spear of Victory. Its power was far beyond his normal limits.

Han Guang hurled the Spear of Victory at the incoming sphere. There was no explosion. Instead, the two forces neutralized each other. The Light Energy inside the spear burned through the elemental Jurisdictions in the sphere until only a tenth of its power remained. That remnant flew toward Di Bin.

Di Bin snorted. A wave of pressure shattered the remnants of the spear.

Still, Han Wu’s potential was undeniably terrifying. If Di Bin didn’t kill him, he would only become a problem in the future.

Di Bin resolved to hold nothing back!
