The Most Powerful Bodyguard
Chapter 1570: Finally Arrived
Chapter 1570: Chapter 1570: Finally Arrived
Yang Yan felt like his head was about to explode.
Helpless, he decided to shut his doors to guests, avoiding all visitors, opting to keep his peace by not seeing them.
Meanwhile, Yang Yan silently hunted for the source of the rumors.
Finally, through his relentless efforts, Yang Yan found the notorious culprit.
The Void-Devouring Tiger was speaking to a teenager, "Child, you are still young, you must take care of your body. Remember not to be like Alliance Leader Yang Yan, who due to constant battles, now has no hope of having offspring."
As he spoke, the Void-Devouring Tiger showed a look of sadness, seemingly feeling unfortunate for this predicament of his master and good contracted spirit beast and battle companion.
Yang Yan saw this and directly appeared before the Void-Devouring Tiger, gritting his teeth and coldly sneering, "What, what did you say about me? Go ahead, how do you want to die?"
The Void-Devouring Tiger turned pale with fright, shrinking its neck and hurriedly tore open a space rift in an attempt to escape.
But ultimately, it was too late.
When Yang Yan arrived, he had already locked the surrounding space, making it impossible for the Void-Devouring Tiger to tear open space.
Yang Yan looked at the child in front of him, smiling as he said, "I have something to discuss with Uncle Void-Devouring Tiger. You should leave quickly, don’t worry your family."
The child asked with bewildered eyes, "Are you Uncle Moonlight? Is what Uncle Void-Devouring Tiger said true?"
A black line appeared on Yang Yan’s forehead, he directly used spatial power to teleport the pity-faced child away, only then did he look at the Void-Devouring Tiger with a ferocious expression.
The Void-Devouring Tiger was panicked internally but managed to maintain composure and said, "Master, this is for your own good. Think about it, no news from you for more than a year, everyone thought you had perished."
"It was to show that you survived! Otherwise, people would be unstable, who knows what mishaps might occur. Do you think it’s easy for me?"
Yang Yan coldly laughed, "For my own good, for my own good? Fine! Then for your own good, I’ll put your progress over the past year to the test, see if you’ve been slacking off."
The Void-Devouring Tiger hurriedly shouted, "Master! We agreed, you can hit me anywhere, but don’t hit my face, definitely not the face..."
Suddenly, Yang Yan’s attacks fiercely landed, and the Void-Devouring Tiger couldn’t help but scream, "Ah! Master, don’t be so despicable. I already told you not to hit my face, yet you hit so hard. I still need to go out! If I’m disfigured, how will I find a wife later..."
Droning on and on, the Void-Devouring Tiger clung to its head with its front paws under Yang Yan’s nearly insane assault.
At first it gritted its teeth and held on, but in less than half a minute it emitted squeals like a pig being slaughtered.
This space too became utterly tattered, while Yang Yan continued venting upon it, repairing the space using his spatial rules.
As for the Void-Devouring Tiger, it merely lay on the ground completely defeated, bruised and swollen, gasping for breath with occasional groans, incapable of standing.
After venting for a while, Yang Yan felt the grievance in his heart cleared away, a joyful expression appearing on his face.
At that moment, Yang Yan’s mind was stirred, his eyes revealing a look of ecstasy.
The intense emotion from Yang Yan shook the surrounding space into void.
While not far away, the Void-Devouring Tiger suffered the bad luck from the space’s turmoil.
Its body was cut with wounds by the raging spatial laws, blood slowly flowing from the wounds.
Feeling despair, the Void-Devouring Tiger lay where it was, a flash of grief and indignation in its eyes: "Master, Moonlight, what kind of friendship do we have, just said a little truth and you’re so vengeful! Boo hoo... so hurtful, really hurtful, isn’t it!"
But Yang Yan had already disappeared, leaving behind an undissipated space passage in the void.
In just a brief moment, Yang Yan arrived within a tranquil valley inside Silver Moon Academy.
The valley was protected by numerous powerful arrays, emitting intense spiritual power fluctuations, even Half-Saint cultivators dared not touch them.
Scattered within the valley were a few simple houses, but in architectural style, it was filled with a strong modern and cultivation fusion breath.
Numerous home appliances were powered not by electricity but by arrays, maintaining their normal operation.
Although Yang Yan had not yet entered the valley, through his spiritual sense he saw Zhou Hanyu and others surrounding Zhou Hanyun.
Zhou Hanyun nervously caressed her small belly, but her eyes showed a joyful glow.
This place Yang Yan constructed after the last post-immortal race war, solely to prevent other forces from abducting his family for leverage against him.
During Yang Yan’s time turned to stone, there were forces that attempted, but were repelled by the ten swords guarding them.
The ten swords now reached the peak of Nascent Soul, in collaboration they could slay even ordinary Divinity Transformation cultivators.
Even against late Divinity Transformation, united they could hold their ground, providing Zhou Hanyun and others precious retreat time.
Yet, it wasn’t without danger.
The most hazardous time, led by a Semi-Saint and five Divinity Transformation practitioners concealed their presence, secretly infiltrating Earth.
Caught off guard, the ten swords were struck down, incurring countless casualties among the three thousand Liuyun Crowd and Eight Hundred Celestial Mist Dao.
Thankfully the Void-Devouring Tiger and others arrived in time ensuring Zhou Hanyun and others weren’t harmed, narrowly escaping disaster.
Yang Yan’s eyes flickered with joy and with a step forward, the arrays outside the valley flashed light as Yang Yan entered it.
The ten swords sensed someone arriving, promptly summoned their spiritual soldiers, gathering vigilance.
Seeing Yang Yan’s figure appear, they hurried and shouted in unison, "Welcome the Master back."
Yang Yan indicated for them to waive formalities, then swiftly his silhouette disappeared into the courtyard.
Yang Yan concealed his spiritual power, approached, and gently pushed the closed door aside.
Yang Yan’s face showed tension, his cautious actions as if fearing to disturb the peaceful mother and child in the room.
Though the news of Zhou Hanyun’s pregnancy had just arrived, Yang Yan resembled a long-absent father visiting his newborn child.
As Yang Yan pushed open the door, his anxiety increased.
Yet, Yang Yan’s steps were remarkably swift.
In an instant, Zhou Hanyu and others felt a gentle breeze, Yang Yan had already arrived at Zhou Hanyun’s side.
Yang Yan appeared extremely clumsy, without a trace of the calculating hero color he had on the battlefield.
Yang Yan pressed his ear to Zhou Hanyun’s belly, listening intently to the fetus’s heartbeat.
The rhythmic, heavy, and powerful sound indicated the fetus’s abundant life force.
Yang Yan’s face couldn’t help but be filled with the color of ecstasy.
