The Moon Goddess Chose Me as the Luna of Four Alphas
Chapter 66: I want to see Father too.
Liliana looked up at the tall, handsome man standing behind Vincent.
"Brother?"
Cassian walked toward them, his brow furrowing when he realized Liliana was with Vincent. He fixed his gaze on the girl, waiting for an explanation.
Liliana rose from her seat and stood before Cassian.
"Brother, he and I... we’ve already..."
"Don’t blame Liliana," Vincent cut in. "I’m the one who forced her first. Even if you had been there, you wouldn’t have been able to stop me from marking her."
Cassian’s fingers clenched tightly into fists, his eyes sharp as they locked onto Vincent.
"Brother..." Liliana called again.
"We’re leaving," Cassian interrupted. "Vincent, go back to your pack. Liliana is my sister, a member of Pack Draven. And my pack has never welcomed outsiders kindly."
"Tch..." A mocking smirk curved Vincent’s lips. He glanced briefly at Liliana. "I’ll find you again once we leave this Secret Realm."
Vincent shifted into a silver-gray wolf and sprinted away, vanishing into the darkness of the forest.
"Is there anything you want to explain before we go back?" Cassian asked after a moment.
Liliana drew a long breath. "It happened when I fell into the ravine. He found me, and... everything just happened."
"And then?" Cassian pressed.
"He knows about my power, and my true form."
"Hah!" Cassian scoffed with a dry laugh.
"He’s the first one who saw my true appearance in the forest that day."
Cassian closed his eyes briefly, then nodded. "We’re going back. I can’t stop you from being marked by your own wolf mate either. Your only hope of undoing it is to ask Father Alpha for help," he said quietly.
"I also met the Crown Prince," Liliana added after a short silence.
"What? And what happened? He didn’t mark you right away?" Cassian asked in rapid succession.
As the future Alpha of Pack Draven, Cassian fully understood the power of the Crown Prince of the Morovela Empire. Great power usually came with equally great pressure. He wasn’t sure Leonhart could simply restrain the urge of a mate’s mark.
Liliana shook her head. "I almost lost control, but Vincent helped me hold back the urge. As for the Crown Prince, I don’t know if he felt the same thing or not."
"Vincent? He has the ability to suppress that urge?" Cassian asked in disbelief.
"Mm."
Cassian didn’t reply at once. He remained silent for a while before nodding. "Let’s head back first. It’ll be dark soon. Our pack is waiting."
"Alright."
The two of them shifted into wolves and ran through the dense forest toward Pack Draven’s location.
Upon their arrival, several members immediately crowded around Liliana and Cassian.
"Liliana, are you okay?" they asked.
"How are you? Is anyone hurt?"
Liliana offered a light smile before answering, "Nothing serious. Brother gave me the new medicine from Mother Luna before I fell, and it worked very well."
Everyone let out a breath of relief. For the two days Liliana had been missing, the entire pack had lived in fear. Cassian’s dark expression had been truly intimidating—especially after they learned that the ravine she had fallen into had suddenly filled with a raging river current.
Cassian did not interrupt them. Once Liliana finished answering their questions, he led everyone to dinner. That day he asked Liliana nothing more; he even took over her watch shift so she could rest peacefully after the meal.
Liliana remained silent as well, knowing that Cassian’s thoughts about her were extremely heavy right now.
The next morning, everything proceeded as usual. Since Cassian had already obtained the item that had called to him, he simply helped supervise the other pack members while they searched for the items calling to them.
On the seventh day, every member of the pack had found their respective items. No one was injured under Cassian’s watch.
And now they stood in the same place where they had first arrived, together with the other pack members.
Liliana’s eyes settled on Vera, who had now joined Pack Beaumont. Members of Pack Draven had already informed her that Cassian had refused Vera’s request to join their pack after learning she had dared to push her into the ravine.
The girl looked terrible. Clearly, Pack Beaumont was not treating her well.
Liliana sighed. Pack Beaumont was not the kind of people who would kindly accept strangers.
"What are you looking at?" Cassian asked as he approached.
"Vera."
Cassian nodded without asking further.
"Get ready," Cassian reminded them. "It’s time for us to return," he said to Liliana and the pack members standing not far from him.
Cassian took hold of Liliana’s arm. The place where they stood began to tremble in the same way it had when they were first sent here.
In the blink of an eye, they were transferred within seconds. They returned to the field of Mirena Academy.
The Head Dean was already waiting for them, standing upright in the center of the field.
His gaze lingered on the Crown Prince for a moment, then shifted to Pack Draven.
"You have all worked hard. I will grant you two days of leave starting tomorrow. Use them wisely. Do what must be done, and do not do what is forbidden. As for the items you found, I will not ask about them; they belong to you—keep them safe."
"Yes. Thank you, Dean," everyone in the field replied.
After delivering his brief message, the Head Dean left the field, followed by the Crown Prince at his side.
Cassian looked at Liliana, who was also looking at him.
"Did the reaction come again?" he asked quietly.
"It did. But it wasn’t as strong as before," Liliana answered.
"Go back to your room. There’s something I need to confirm. It seems Father Alpha is already waiting outside the academy."
"I’ll come with you," Liliana said. "I want to see Father too."
Cassian studied her for a moment before nodding and walking through the crowd toward the academy gates. He approached the gate guard calmly.
"Did the Alpha of Pack Draven leave anything for me these past few days?"
The guard looked at Cassian briefly. "He came today. He left a message asking you to meet him at the inn beside the academy."
Cassian nodded, then led Liliana outside toward the place where their Alpha father was staying.
Mirena Academy never allowed outsiders other than students to enter freely. So if anyone wanted to meet or do anything else, they had to leave the academy. The academy had provided an inn right outside its grounds.
Upon arriving at the inn, the two of them immediately met Viktor. He sat calmly in the dining area with a cup of coffee and two cups of tea on the table, as if he already knew Cassian and Liliana would come to see him at this exact moment.
"Father Alpha," Liliana and Cassian greeted in unison.
Viktor looked at Cassian first, then narrowed his eyes sharply at Liliana.
