Chapter 49: Perverted wolf

Liliana opened her eyes wide as her gaze fell upon the place where she was now.

Before her stretched a place she had never even been able to imagine. Everything there was extraordinarily large. So large that she could not even see its end.

Even the rock now in front of her was thousands of times larger than a human body. There were also mushrooms that looked similar to the ones she usually ate in the real world, but they were now twice the size of a human body. Liliana stared at the scenery before her with eyes filled with both amazement and fear.

She swept her gaze around the location where she was now. They were all standing on a leaf.

A giant leaf!

The leaf could even accommodate her and hundreds of Mirena Academy students.

Liliana reached for Cassian’s arm and gripped it tightly.

"Brother... isn’t this size too abnormal? Are we going to explore this place for the next seven days? Are you sure we can do it?" Liliana asked.

Cassian held Liliana’s fingers, which were now tightly gripping his arm.

This was also his first time entering this secret realm. The opening time was never certain either. His Alpha Father had only told him once when he entered the academy that the secret realm of Mirena Academy was something beyond everyone’s ability to comprehend.

"Liliana... never leave Brother’s side, understand?" he asked.

Liliana looked up. She stared at Cassian’s face, which now also carried an uncertain expression.

She nodded slowly.

"Let’s get down from this leaf," Cassian said to all the members of his pack as all the other pack members were still stunned while staring at everything now before them.

Slowly, all the members of Pack Draven climbed down from the leaf where they were standing.

Cassian led the way, while Liliana followed, using her fingers to grip the branch she was on tightly so she could climb down to the ground.

"Be careful!" Cassian shouted, trying to warn all the members of his pack.

Everyone nodded and followed Liliana and Cassian’s steps slowly.

Liliana’s fingers touched the branch she was using for support to climb down. Her eyes unconsciously observed the branch she was currently on as she continued trying to descend.

There was light in every crevice of the branch that had already turned into wood and begun to peel.

Liliana continued observing it until Cassian’s voice came from below her.

"Focus, Liliana. This tree is still very tall," he ordered.

Liliana nodded and focused again on moving her feet and hands so she could descend safely.

After a while, the other pack members began following Pack Draven’s steps to climb down from the leaf where they had landed.

Half an hour later, Liliana finally touched the ground beneath her feet.

Cassian helped her down with both arms. Harimau Belang immediately followed and stood between Cassian and Liliana.

Cassian looked up at the tree where they had appeared earlier after making sure all the members of his pack had safely set their feet on the ground.

"We’ll begin our own journey. There’s no need to wait for the other pack members," Cassian ordered.

"Understood," the members of Pack Draven answered in unison.

Cassian transformed into a black wolf and then howled loudly.

All his pack members followed and howled as well.

Liliana looked at them without changing her expression. She quickly climbed onto the back of Harimau Belang and followed Cassian, who had begun walking into the forest.

Someone stood casually on the leaf where everyone had first landed. He watched the Draven pack begin leaving the tree where they were now.

"No wonder the Alpha King has always been cautious of Pack Draven," he said in a low voice. "Their responses are indeed always superior and surprising compared to other packs."

After nearly an hour, Cassian slowed his steps. He looked around at their surroundings.

"We’ll spend the night here," Cassian said before immediately transforming into human form.

The other pack members followed, transforming into humans and nodding in agreement.

Liliana jumped down from Harimau Belang’s back. She walked toward the river and stared at the flowing water.

"Are you thirsty?" Cassian asked as he walked toward her.

Liliana shook her head. "I want to take a bath. My body feels very uncomfortable."

Cassian looked at Liliana’s body, which was covered in sweat.

"You worked hard today. Follow Brother. Brother will find a place for you to bathe."

Liliana nodded and followed Cassian.

Her body continued to break out in cold sweat. She had been suppressing the reaction of the mate mark in her body ever since she met the two future Alphas who had not yet marked her as their Luna on the academy field.

Cassian pushed through the bushes until he found a strong stream of water. He stepped closer and inspected the area.

"You can bathe here. Brother will stand guard outside the bushes. Be quick. We can’t leave the pack for too long."

"Okay," Liliana answered with a nod.

Liliana walked behind the bushes after Cassian moved away with Harimau Belang, giving her some privacy.

She immediately removed all her clothes and submerged her body in the rushing water.

She dove underwater, soaking her entire body and trying to wash away the lingering discomfort that continued to rise from her body.

The water in the river was cold. Very cold, enough to make her regain her senses.

She moved her body, swimming in every direction with a satisfied expression.

Rustle!

Liliana quickly turned toward the opposite direction from where Cassian had gone after hearing the sound of leaves being stepped on.

"Who is it?" Liliana asked as she quickly swam toward the bank.

There was no answer.

"Who is it?" Liliana asked again.

Still, there was no answer.

Liliana scratched her nose even though it was not itchy.

"Am I just hallucinating?" Liliana asked herself.

Liliana carefully looked toward the place where the sound had come from.

However, after waiting for a while, there was still no response.

"Looks like I really was hallucinating," Liliana said.

She returned to the river, allowing the cold water to soak her body and suppress her wild urges perfectly.

Behind the tree Liliana had been looking at earlier, a red-haired, red-eyed werewolf covered his nose with both hands.

Blood was flowing from his nose, while his face had turned red all the way to the tips of his ears.

"Damn!" the man cursed.

"Since when did I become a perverted wolf who likes spying on women while they’re bathing?" he asked himself in disbelief.
