Bugh!

Liliana’s body was pushed until she was thrown to the ground in the academy’s backyard.

Liliana groaned softly. She raised her head and looked at Alaric and Valerie’s sharp gazes.

"W-what are you going to do?" Liliana asked, her body trembling as she endured the pain from the impact on her knee.

"Liliana, there are boundaries you cannot cross. Apologize to Noli. Do whatever she asks until she truly forgives you," Alaric said calmly.

"Look, she’s already here," he added as he looked at Adrian, who was approaching with Noli beside him.

Noli glanced at Liliana with a mocking gaze.

"Liliana, you’re nothing more than Miss Valerie’s toy, yet you dared to hurt me, the daughter of a Beta, like this," she said with a dark expression.

Liliana looked at her without the slightest trace of guilt. Her gaze fell upon Noli’s right hand, which was wrapped in thick bandages.

"You deserved it," Liliana said after a moment.

Noli glared at her. "You still dare to defy me?"

Her unbandaged left hand rose, intending to land on Liliana’s face.

Liliana remained calm. She quickly dodged and grabbed Noli’s wrist.

"Your right hand isn’t enough to be injured?" Liliana asked. "Now you want to hurt your left hand too?" she asked in a low, threatening voice.

Bugh!

Adrian kicked Liliana’s body, sending her flying away from Noli.

"Liliana, you still don’t understand the situation and you’re trying to hurt her again?" Adrian asked.

"Noli, are you okay?" Valerie asked as she walked closer.

"Miss Valerie, I’m fine. Thanks to Young Master Alpha, I managed to escape that crazy girl’s attack," Noli replied.

Liliana raised her head and touched her stomach, which had just been kicked by Adrian.

"Are you trying to bully me again?" Liliana asked sharply at them.

Adrian looked into Liliana’s eyes. His body stiffened instantly. It was the same reaction Alaric had experienced in front of Liliana’s room earlier.

"Noli, you’re only a Beta’s daughter, yet you keep tormenting me like this with their help. You haven’t changed at all."

Noli glared back at Liliana. "Who says I’m relying on them?" she asked.

Alaric stepped forward.

"So what if Noli uses us to bully you? She’s our childhood friend and the daughter of a Beta in our pack. Even if she doesn’t ask us to, we’ll gladly do it."

Liliana raised her head and looked at Noli without intending to respond to Alaric’s words.

"Noli... you like Alaric and Adrian, don’t you? You can’t go against Valerie because they both like her, so you use me as an object for your revenge? Isn’t that right?" Liliana asked with a mocking grin.

Alaric, Adrian, and Valerie immediately turned to look at Noli, waiting for her explanation.

"Bah! Nonsense," Noli denied. "Adrian and Alaric are my childhood friends. We are friends. As for Valerie... she’s the Luna chosen by both of my friends. Liliana... are you trying to turn us against each other?" she asked.

Liliana smiled. "Really?"

"Sister Liliana, Noli isn’t that kind of person. She’s Adrian and Alaric’s friend. She’s also my friend. How could you say something like that?" Valerie said with an annoyed expression.

"Liliana... you’re still as disgusting as before. You’re always jealous of Valerie and want her to have no one by her side?" Adrian asked.

"It seems that after you ran away to Pack Draven for almost a month, your personality still hasn’t improved, Liliana," Alaric added.

"What about you?" Liliana asked. "After almost a month without seeing each other, you still want to play this drama with me? Isn’t that exhausting?"

Adrian and Alaric’s brows furrowed at the same time. They had not expected Liliana to still dare to answer them.

Valerie’s fingers clenched tightly as she saw the confused expressions on Alaric and Adrian’s faces.

"Alaric, Adrian, I think we should teach Liliana a lesson. You won’t let Noli suffer an injustice, will you?"

Adrian and Alaric’s expressions changed instantly. They looked at Valerie, then small smiles appeared on their faces.

"Of course," they both answered.

"Noli, we won’t let you suffer because of this rotten little servant. What do you want to do? We’ll help you deal with it," Adrian said.

Noli looked at Valerie, then at Adrian and Alaric, who were so obedient to Valerie. Her eyes glimmered darkly.

"Valerie, what do you think I should do to her? Help me decide. After all, she’s your servant."

Valerie smiled back.

"She broke your right hand. What if you repay her by doing the same?" Valerie asked. "But it’s up to you. I’m only giving you a suggestion."

"Fine, I’ll help break her hand," Alaric said as he walked toward Liliana.

Liliana immediately stepped backward.

"You... you dare hurt me? Alaric!! I’m no longer a member of your pack. If you hurt me, are you sure Pack Draven will stay silent? Are you sure Cassian won’t retaliate against you?"

Alaric’s steps stopped instantly.

At the academy, everyone knew how ruthless Cassian was toward anyone who provoked him, as well as those who targeted his people. Although he came from a low-ranking pack, his strength was clearly among the best in the academy.

"Why should we be afraid?" Valerie asked. "We’re only seeking justice for Noli. Besides, we only want to correct your bad personality."

"What if Pack Draven blames our Pack Beaumont for never teaching you proper etiquette?" Valerie added.

"Adrian, you think the same way I do, right? We just don’t want her to ruin Pack Draven’s reputation in the future. We’re not trying to hurt her for no reason. We only want to help her," Valerie said as she grabbed Adrian’s arm.

"You’re right," Adrian said as he gently patted Valerie’s head.

Adrian stepped forward to help Alaric pin down Liliana’s hands.

"Adrian, Alaric, stop!" Liliana shouted. "You both clearly know whether what Valerie is saying is right or wrong. Are you sure you want to make Cassian your enemy?" she asked.

"Cassian will definitely act fairly. He’s the academy’s student representative this year. I believe Valerie," Noli added.

"Liliana... don’t blame us. You were the one who broke Noli’s arm first," Alaric said. "We only want you to feel the pain Noli suffered."

Liliana continued struggling, trying to free both her hands from Alaric and Adrian’s grips.

"Alaric, Adrian, I guarantee you will regret it if you don’t let me go right now! And you, Noli... didn’t I only defend myself? Who was actually the one who intended to hurt me first?"

Slap!!!

Noli stepped forward and landed a hard slap on Liliana’s cheek.

"You still dare accuse me? Doesn’t your body prove that you aren’t injured at all? What about my hand?" Noli raised her bandaged hand. "Who is the one suffering? Isn’t the evidence already clear?"

Liliana’s cheek burned from the slap. The pain spread through her face, making her head feel dizzy.
