283. More Unexpected People Coming In; Second Special Guest.

After greeting their first special guest, not long after, Kaito and the other two were ready to accept another one, because another magic circle appeared in front of them. This time, though, the guest was someone that neither had anticipated before (and also exciting), because the guest this time, while there was an acquaintance, also included someone that Kaito should never have met before, yet was also easily recognized.

The first one was an acquaintance Kaito met not long ago during the Himejima shrine raid: the young woman with a voluptuous figure and long black hair who always seems to be wearing shrine maiden attire, Himejima Suzaku. She also happens to be the current leader of the Himejima Clan after his father resigned, which current business partner of Kaito's business... thus she's fully qualified to attend the engagement party. 

However, the next 2 guest was a pair of mother and daughter. The mother is a young woman with a voluptuous figure, fox ears, and very long blonde hair with matching eyes; she stood by Suzaku, also wearing white shrine maiden attire, but she also wore a white coat held closed by a red ribbon and a golden crown. Following behind her slightly (hiding, shy) is her daughter, with an appearance similar to the mother but much younger. She's a young girl with blonde hair tied in a ponytail and matching eyes, wearing a traditional miko outfit.

The ruler of the Youkai Faction in Kyoto, Yasaka, and her daughter, Kunou. Kaito did learn that Aika managed to befriend Yasaka and invited her to an engagement party... which shocked Kaito. On the other hand, Rimuru doesn't react to much but can appreciate Yasaka's figure and treat her like many demihumans around her, while Kazuma and Kaito practically drool upon seeing Yasaka.

"Um, Kaito-sama, long time no see." Suzaku greeted stunned Kaito first, slightly bowing with respect. "It's been a while since we met."

"A-Ah... It's indeed been a while." Kaito replied, also nodding at her. "But it seems you are not alone."

Suzaku nodded and then introduced her partner by turning to the side, "I am here to attend your engagement party and also serve as a bodyguard for the leader of the Yokai Faction in Kyoto today, Yasaka-sama, and her daughter."

Kaito, who already knew their identity, obviously pretended not to recognize them. He turned to Yasaka and greeted her politely, "I see. I didn't expect such a gorgeous big shot to also come to our event."

""Welcome!"" (Kazuma/Rimuru)

Hearing Kaito say a compliment about her, Yasaka couldn't help but giggle. "Pfft... No, to call myself a big shot is certainly an honor from the bigger big shot himself."

"Also, to call me 'Gorgeous,' Aika-san seems not to be lying about you having a thing for a blonde-haired woman. But I hope you don't have any idea to cheat behind her, okay?" Yasaka teased.

"Ah... Aika really said something unnecessary." Kaito scratched his head, feeling a bit shy but not really thinking it was a shame. "A-Anyway, welcome to our mansion, Yasaka-sama, the leader of the West Youkai faction, and her daughter."

"Thank you." Yasaka answered him politely with a smile, "I hope you didn't mind us being here and for me to bring my daughter with me."

"Of course not," Kaito replied, then turned and stared at shy Kunou, who he thought was really cute. "Honestly, I'm also surrounded by many kids all the time, and I think they want to befriend her, especially my sister."

Rimuru nodded and added, "I think Milim would have interest in her. She looks so fluffy anyway."

Kazuma chimed in, "I mean, she's cute for sure. People will like her."

"That's true. My sister is definitely willing to befriend her." Kaito added kindly.

Although Kunou is actually much younger than Est, Kaito believes his sister could easily befriend this girl and introduce her to many younger former cursed children who are currently living in the base world. Naturally, since Aika managed to become allies with the Youkai faction, Kaito also had a plan to bring the Youkai faction to their world and perhaps even have them come under Rimuru's management later on.

Kaito remembered that Kunou has the same talent as her mother to lead the Youkai faction in the original, and with the current base world that needs talent as much as it can, Kunou is perfect to take over the job later on, especially since she's also to be around the age of former cursed children.

"That's good to hear. In fact, Aika-san was the one who said that you would feel happy if I brought my daughter with me... so I did." Yasaka teased, then turned to her daughter, "Kunou-chan, how about you introduce yourself to this big brother?"

"My name is Kunou. N-Nice to meet you, Kaito-sama." Kunou awkwardly introduced herself while bowing her head. 

Kaito didn't want her to feel uncomfortable... He knelt in front of her and slowly pat her head. "Nice to meet you. Just call me Kaito-san. Also, you are a really cute child, aren't you?"

"T-Thank you, Kaito-san." Kunou stammered, feeling embarrassed.

"You're welcome~ and thank you for attending my engagement party with your mother~," Kaito replied kindly and continued to stroke her hair. "You don't mind if I continue to stroke your hair, right? For compensation, I will introduce my sister to be your friend later."

"I-It's embarrassing, but it's o-okay..."

It feels so comfortable that, although she feels embarrassed, Kunou doesn't move away or reject it, so Kaito just keeps going because he also loves stroking/patting a cute girl's head. Being a fox girl, Kunou's hair is really fluffy, comfortable to touch, and he admits she even surpasses Est in that regard.

Seeing how Kaito managed to tame Kunou in a single move, everyone couldn't help but be amazed and remark on him.

"As expected of you, boss." (Kazuma)

"Definitely a master when it comes to conquering children." (Rimuru)

"I am not trying to conquer her. I just want to make her feel comfortable." (Kaito)

"Ugh... It's so embarrassing." (Kunou)

As someone who gets surrounded by many children, Kaito maxed his skill to comfort children a long time ago, including stroking and patting their heads. Even if they were beastman girl, he already maxed them too thanks to the fact that Kaito spent a long time with Midori back in the Black Bullet world. Knowing their leader situation, neither Rimuru nor Kazuma were surprised, but Yasaka certainly was.

"Aika clearly didn't lie about your skill, and it seems Kunou is also enjoying your touch~" Yasaka commented while feeling a bit envious of her own daughter's situation.

"Well, I was surrounded by children all the time; I just know what to do." Kaito tried to defend himself.

Yasaka nodded, then suggested, "Then, if you like my child... Would you be interested in taking Kunou as your mistress too? It seems the child clearly likes you at first sight~."

""Huh?""

Naturally, hearing Yasaka's bold suggestion, everyone was shocked, especially Kunou and Kaito himself. Kunou couldn't help but be angry at her mother, albeit feeling embarrassed, while Kaito immediately frowned upon hearing it.

"M-Mother? What are you talking about?!" (Kunou)

"Boss, Don't you dare! She's too young!" (Kazuma)

"Umm! This time, we're definitely going to report it to Aika." (Rimuru)

"Yasaka-san! That joke isn't funny!" Kaito reacted angrily and scolded Yasaka, "She's still a child, not even elementary school age, and you're already thinking of using her as your political tool?!"

"That's indeed too much." (Rimuru)

"Set aside that Kunou clearly has interest in the boss; she's just way too young, and being a tool doesn't sound good." (Kazuma)

"Pffft... I'm sorry. It's just a joke~ There's no way I would treat my own child as a tool." Despite being scolded, Yasaka chuckled and even started to have a better impression of him.

Yasaka didn't expect Kaito to get angry, but more importantly, he's angry because she tried to arrange her daughter's life. From his reaction alone, Yasaka believes he could be a great father for his children in the future. Added the Yokai faction situation that needs a powerhouse that could protect it, Kaito's blonde hair with a handsome appearance, and all the good story about Kaito she had learned from Aika before, it would be a lie if Yasaka were not interested in Kaito right now.

"Honestly, that's not a funny joke at all, Yasaka-san." Kaito rolled his eyes, genuinely speechless at Yasaka's idea... because in his memory, Yasaka isn't the kind of bad mother who would use her daughter for the interest of her faction.

Yasaka chuckled and then replied, "Alright then, since you don't like younger ones, how about me? Maybe I can do it too? I am okay being a mistress too."

"What do you mean?"

"I can't help but be envious of my own child, because she looks so comfortable at your touch." Yasaka added, glanced at her own child that getting more embarrassed and angry "What do you think? You can touch my head and even play with my tails. I guarantee you it's 100% much better than my child's own. And as my widow status, that's not a problem, is it?"

"Mother?!" (Kunou)

"Uh..."

'That big fluffy tail, I can't imagine how comfortable it would be to hug it to sleep!'

While Kunou was shocked at her mother's suggestion, Kaito took a look at Yasaka's figure and considered it seriously. Indeed, for Kaito, Yasaka's status as a widow is nothing; among his girls, Asama Miya is also one. On top of her blonde golden hair, also his strike zone, he was tempted by the proposal. Kaito's situation was naturally noticed by Rimuru and Kazuma, who were genuinely speechless at their leader's attitude.

"He's thinking it." (Rimuru)

"Boss, you already have too many women around you. I don’t want to end up receiving a plea for rescue from you from the basement by your girls just because you are attracting too many girls." (Kazuma)

"Kaito-san! Stop thinking about my mother's suggestion!" (Kunou)

After being warned, Kaito ultimately declined Yasaka’s offer; as tempted as he was, he simply couldn’t afford any slip-ups, especially with his engagement on the horizon. Yasaka and her child then headed into the mansion, though she made sure to remind Kaito that the offer remained open should he ever change his mind. Only the second guest was coming, yet Kaito already felt exhausted... he hoped the next guest wouldn't say anything outrageous like Odin and Yasaka did.

He didn't know the guest coming would only get worse from here on out.

Also later on, Kazuma reported the incident to the girls, who punished Kaito by temporarily transforming him into a nine-tailed fox-man—a state they thoroughly enjoyed. But that would be a story for another time.
