237. Kaito Become Famous and Has Become Target of Many Dark Side Group of Academy City.

After taking the ability test at Academy City, Kaito decided to return to their apartment to hide and rest until they got called again to the laboratory and testing site. Physically, Kaito wasn't tired at all (compared to his days working as a 'slave' for Aika in Naruto and Black Bullet). Still, mentally, he was completely exhausted because of all the attention he got after demonstrating his extraordinary abilities.

"It's not bad," Kaito answered calmly and then turned to Ravel, "I am sorry, Ravel-sama, but I guess I will be a bit busy for a few days with those scientists."

Although Kaito disliked getting treated like an experiment by those scientists, he couldn't deny the benefit of the knowledge provided to him, which increased the effectiveness of his creation ability. For example, with their assistance, Kaito learned that he can use creation much more easily if he assists with an image directly or any method that enhances his memory.

However, because of the testing, he does feel bad for Ravel that she needs to continue waiting for him for their main date.

In fact, Kaito could just create a clone to attend the testing, but doing so would expose more of his ability, and it wouldn't be a great idea to do so. He really didn't want to attract more unnecessary attention, as it would put everyone in a more dangerous situation.

Fortunately, Ravel has always understood Kaito's effort the most and even admires him a lot for that. Ravel just nodded with a smile on her face, asked curiously, "But... Can you tell us what you learn, Kaito-san? Everyone in the chat group is also curious!"

"I got a lot of book theory for space-based equipment." Kaito explained, "I was willing to cooperate with them as long as they provided me with some knowledge that could greatly enhance my ability."

"I can't wait to try what I got later," Kaito said with an excited tone.

The dark side is very interested in Kaito's 'omnipotent creation' abilities, and many people with bad intentions already want to capture him within a few hours after receiving the information about his ability. On top of that, because Kaito hasn't really shown any spectacular combat capability, most people assume he's actually quite weak by himself, and soon they're going to attempt to attack him.

Aleister naturally knows what's happening, but he lets it be since Aleister himself is also curious what Kaito is capable of in combat (need more data)

One of the dark side groups that immediately interested him was ITEM, which was led by Mugino Shizuri, one of the level 5 Esper in the Academy City, with the nickname of MELTDOWNER. As all of them currently ran out of cash, Mugino Shizuri really wanted to do this 'delicious' mission despite the unknown risk. So, she quickly called everyone, and they quickly gathered in a private Karaoke box (as they were too poor, and their bad reputation prevented them from using a hotel).

"From our liaison contact, some of the Board of Directors have given us a new mission to capture the new number 1 Esper, Creator, Kaito." 

Mugino said seriously while reading the file about the mission, "The reward is 200 million yen, and even if we fail, we can try to recover his DNA sample for a reward of 20 million yen."

"A fight against the new number 1... Isn't it a bit super dangerous?" Kinuhata Saia, a young girl with short brown hair in a bob cut, commented while being wary.

"I agree."

Another member of ITEM, Takitsubo Rikou, a high school girl with black curly cut evenly at the shoulder and wearing a pink tracksuit suit, also gave her opinion out with a flat monotone, "I don't think the Academy City granted him title number 1 above that monster Accelerator without any reason."

"That's true. Hence, that'sthe  main reason why I gathered you all here." Mugino explained, "Should we take it or not?"

Frenda Seivelun, a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, also a member of ITEM, replied with a hint of excitement, "How many cosmetics could we buy with that much money? "

"And if we really manage to capture him, we can ask him to create a ton of money for us!" Frenda suggested, "The guy ability is creation after all!"

"That would be the best result." Mugino nods with Frenda's idea, but being the leader of the Darkside organization, she can tell it might be a trap for them. Frenda, frowning upon looking at the files she got, made a complaint, "Besides a biodata and history, there's no information about his personality... Which doesn't help in our mission."

For Frenda, who is the most cunning and strategic member of ITEM, she really doesn't want to do a mission with a lack of information about their target. Since Kaito just showed up yesterday, there's naturally a lack of information except for the thing that the chat group system forged to his identity.

Unlike ITEM, which didn't have a fixed base, SCHOOL got its own luxurious private hotel room as its main base, located on a high floor. They also have 4 main operatives like ITEM, but the difference is that their reputation is also much better than ITEM's in the dark side of Academy City.

Kakine Teitoku, the former rank 2 level 5 Esper in the academy city with the nickname of Dark Matter, just wanted to do this mission immediately out of personal beef. The main reason is that this blond man with shoulder-length hair wearing a dark maroon colored suit is really curious and envious of Kaito himself.

Unlike Kakine, who can only create dark matter (a matter that doesn't exist until it is created by him), Kaito's ability seems to be a straight-up better upgrade of his ability, and he got really jealous of him. Kakine really can't form any complex matter (props, material, weaponry) and can only use it in simplified form to attack or defend, which he got even from another dimension.

What makes him more jealous is that Kaito is cooperating under Aleister directly, which is his literal goal upon joining the dark side in the first place.

"Heh! I just can't help it!" Kakine hit the wall with  hidden anger and ordered, "We will do it, right away at night!"

"I mean, I believe you know there's no way Aleister is putting him above Accelerator without reason whatsoever." Gokusai Kaibi, the girl that often treated as the vice leader of SCHOOL, quickly argued. She's a beautiful girl with light bleached wavy hair, wearing a jewelry necklace and a luxurious dress.

*BANG*

"I know! But I just can't accept it!" Kakine, hitting the wall once again in anger, yelled out, "Why was the new number 1 working under Aleister directly? I want to know what's special about the new guy!"

"B-But... we don't have enough i-information." Yumiya Rakko also commented. She's the SCHOOL sniper with long black hair, with 2 pig tails, wearing a Tokiwadai school uniform. She's also the one member of SCHOOL who ended up getting killed by Frenda in the original.

"Yeah. I mean, I agree to take the mission, but we don't need to get in a hurry." Youbou Banka followed, also against Kakine's idea to go directly.

He is also the main member of SCHOOL with black spiky hair and metallic goggles on his head like Saturn rings, which are connected to a machine on his back. He has the ability of level 4 psychokinesis and, combined with technology, he can extract, analyse, and rewrite information, which means his role in the team is mainly to gather data about the mission.
