230. New Members Routine in the Base World After Joining the Chat Group.

After a few days of welcoming new members, everyone's routine returned to normal, and new members also quickly integrated into the chat group. The three new members who decided to "help out" on the base world also readily accepted their assignments, and all of them are already doing their job very well.

First up was Lala, who most of the time worked alongside Kaito in her private laboratory and was already achieving an excellent result.

With both of them working together, they successfully created the first functional item, a small stick similar to Ultraman's use to transform, which the members could use by studying the Teigu Shambhala that Kaito had obtained from Syura. Lala named this amazing item with the name Warp-Warp-kun Ultra (WWU), and its function was to teleport the user to any location they could imagine. 

The only drawbacks so far were that the teleportation distance was limited (20 km), and the energy required was three times compared of Kaito using his teleportation ability due to space and time calculation cost.

However, Kaito was optimistic that Lala would eventually overcome these issues on her own.  In fact, it was now accessible to all members to use and had already proved to be very useful, as energy was not a major issue in the group chat. 

"I am glad working with you, Lala-san." 

Kaito expressed his gratitude, as he knew that he wouldn't figure this prop creation out on his own (except for points, but that would be expensive). 

These functional teleportation props would greatly enhance members' mobility and survivability, and they will undoubtedly become the most widely used props in this world. After all, this base world alone is much larger than Earth. Any traditional method of transportation wouldn't be efficient if the countries were too far away from each other.

"Me too! I am glad to work with you, Kaito-kun!" 

Lala excitedly jumped out of her lab coat and praised, "Your creation ability is so interesting! I wish I could get the same ability too from the chat group."

"Well, it's too expensive for you to afford." Kaito wryly smiled, as any 6* ability would cost in billions of points, "And besides that, don't you want to invite your sisters to the chat group?"

After spending some time here, Lala's younger sisters decide to stay in this world too. Mainly because they didn't want to leave their sister and were also quite fascinated with the base world. 

They promise to also help with teaching cursed children and management of the city, which is something that Kaito wouldn't refuse. For example, since both of them were experts in animal and plant matter, they could help teach children who are interested in those topics, as none of the other members are specialists in it.

Kaito himself doesn't mind if Lala wants to invite her sisters to the chat group, but Kaito won't do it personally. Although 100.000 points for him these days is not a lot, there's a matter of exclusivity and limitation from the chat group. Considering the invite price increases more with every 10 members joining, Kaito figured that after reaching 30, the system would ask them 1 million points to invite, which is not a small amount by any means... even with his privilege.

"Ah, yeah! I just need to work hard! You will pay for my hard work, right?" Lala asked.

"Absolutely." Kaito nodded seriously and promised, "I can pay you 50.000 points right now, more if you figure out how to work around the limitation of the WWU."

"Yay, I love you, Kaito!" Lala hugged him excitedly in front, which made Kaito a little surprised. 

"Yeah." Kaito just nodded while blushing slightly... feeling the softness in her embrace.

Even though they'd only just met, Kaito admitted that Lala's enthusiastic behavior toward him made him develop feelings for her and develop a crush on her. Furthermore, Lala was incredibly beautiful (even compared to all female members in the chat group), making it impossible for Kaito to resist her attraction... even though he's no longer a virgin.

Besides that, Lala also made an effort to get along with Kaito's other girls and did incredibly well due to her friendly and pure attitude. Kaito can see that Lala would be accepted by them soon, especially when they realized how helpful and friendly Lala's presence was to Kaito himself and the chat group in general.

After Lala, the second member who was recruited to work on the base world, Minamiya Natsuki, is also doing her job very well within Kaito's expectations. She's been a great help to Aincrad Academy, and did a much better job than Kaito himself as the headmaster of the academy.

However, she's also complained a lot about the work she needs to do in this world, which is multiple times busier than her job in Itogami Island. Due to Kaito's trust, she also immediately became the vice head teacher of the academy, the position only second to Kaito in the whole school.

It's normal for her original body to be stuck in the teacher's office for a few hours, just to sort and score all the work from these little students. While her clone teaches all of the different classes, despite her specialty being only in language.

Well, at least she's not alone, as other teachers in the academy also have so much work to do in the office.

"You really made me overwork here, Kaito!" Natsuki gritted her teeth, complained again as she took care of all the class reports on her table, "I kinda regret it that I accept your offer!"

Kaito did fulfill his promise and bought Natsuki a clone magic for her, but then she realized that Kaito had fooled her. Although that ability was convenient as described, it also comes with the cost of mental burden on top of energy consumption, which takes her a while to get used to.

Fortunately, as a witch, her mental capacity is much better than average magician, to the point where she has no problem running 10 clones at the same time.

"Hahahaha... I am sorry, Natsuki-chan."

"You said 'sorry', but it doesn't help the situation at all!"

"Hahaha..."

"Stop laughing and help me!"

Kaito (clone) can only wryly smile at her complaint while doing his best to help her job. Either way, most teachers also complained about the amount a lot, so Kaito eventually got used to it.

Run, a young fair man with blond eyes and golden eyes (from Akame Ga kill and has a history as a school teacher) commented politely, "You know, Minamiya-san, at least they were a good kid."

"Well, yeah... Most of them are really good and enthusiastic kids." Natsuki nods, deeply agrees with his sentiment, "I don't say that I hate them. I actually like them, but sometimes their enthusiasm feels a bit too much for me."

Minamiya Natsuki has watched Black Bullet original memory, and also the memory about what the chat group does in that world. Being a good person, Natsuki strongly agrees and is amazed by the actions the chat group took in that world, especially their choice to save the cursed children instead of wanting to destroy the whole world with their capabilities.

Jiraiya (from Naruto), another recruited teacher in the room who teaches physical education, also chirped, "Most of them definitely will grow to be a great beauty!"

"I am quite concerned if it's coming from you, pervert." Nana, Lala's sister, who is in charge of the biology class, retorted to Jiraiya. She's always been the person who hates pervert things the most among the 3 Deviluke Princesses, so her compatibility with perverts like Jiraiya is naturally the worst.

"Heh." Jiraiya scoffed after looking at Nana's pitiful breasts, "Small kid like doesn't know anything about beauty!"

"You! Do you want to beat you?" Nana stood up, ready to give Jiraiya another beating.

"Who's afraid of you?!" Jiraiya fights back, though he's already prepared the escape route. There's no way, in pure physical terms alone, Jiraiya is not an opponent of an alien princess!

He already tried before, and he got beaten miserably... even with Sage mode.

"You two, shut up!"

Looking at the ruckus caused by her colleague, Minamiya threatened them, "If you guys keep fighting, I will cut your salary this month in half!"

""You can do that?"" 

Both Jiraiya and Nana were stunned by her threat.

"Of course!" Minamiya Natsuki turned her head at Kaito (clone), "You will cooperate with me, right? Boss?"

"Uh, yeah..." 'Kaito' repeatedly nods, "As long as it's a reasonable excuse..."

Considering Natsuki-chan is a member of the chat group, Kaito, being a clone, naturally understands that the original body is willing to give in to her request.

In fact, that kind of stuff is usually taken care of by Aika, Sakuya, and Manaka alone. Kaito is aware he doesn't have the good management skills to handle to finances, so he usually leaves it to them.

Even if the money is technically unlimited for them (traded using points), Aika has warned Kaito not to create money out of nowhere anymore; otherwise, they would suffer from inflation of money in this world.

With the first and second members working just fine in the base world, the third members, Sato Kazuma and his cheat 'Goddess Aqua', are also doing very well. In fact, they were truly happy living in this world and swore they would never go back to the Konosuba world, forgetting their mission to defeat the demon king in the first place.

"Muahahaha! Just work for a few days, and I can own a mansion in this world! I would never go back to that world, never!" Sato Kazuma said excitedly, lying on the sofa in front of the TV (connected to the other world).

With Kaito and Sakuya's ability, it was a breeze for them to build a mansion for Kazuma, and he has been enjoying herself ever since. Kazuma also has discovered the omnipotent properties of chat group points and has been taking advantage of them ever since. Now the whole mansion is full of furniture and electronic tools from the modern world, which he bought using points or traded for with people who came from the modern world.

Besides that, Kazuma has been actively earning points from daily tasks and doing his job as a 'scout' very seriously every day for 8 hours.

With his insane luck stats, Kazuma always finds out something valuable easily, like a gold mine, even though he goes to random locations and follows his gut, so he actually extremely fitting for doing this kind of job.

"Kazuma-san!! Can you buy me some wine again?!"

Come out of her private room, Aqua, who looks messy and sloppy, walked haggardly toward Kazuma like a drunkard zombie despite being a goddess. 

"What?"

This gives Kazuma a feeling of disgust for the useless goddess, and he can't help but retort, "It's the 4th bottle of the day! How much have you drunk lately, you useless goddess!?"

"Shut up! Just buy me more drinks! It's the part of our deal anyway!" Aqua retorted lazily, swinging the empty bottle in her hand, "Give me a newer brand! I want something strong!"

"I genuinely regret that I am thinking of making a deal with you!"

Kazuma proposed to Aqua to help him 'restore his stamina' when he was doing the daily quest of running 10 km every day, while he promised to buy her a few bottles of wine that he could get from the chat group system. While it's really helpful to help with stamina matters, Aqua has been requesting way too much wine for him, often more than half of the points he earned from the daily task, and Kazuma has been regretting his decision ever since.

"Can you just go to the tavern or something? I will give you some money, how about that?"

"Really?!" Aqua's eyes brightened up, "Did you have money? You were forbidden to create money from points, right?"

"Of course I do." Kazuma snorted, "Although it was forbidden to make money directly, the Boss has paid me some money due to my hard work doing my job, unlike you, who are stuck in the mansion every day!"

Hence, members who wanted to revive people, particularly Nico Robin (Ohara), Uta (Elegia), and Itachi (Uchiha), have been working hard to earn money to gather all the hundred or even thousands of souls they needed. At least, the cost is much lower than reviving those people using the system directly.

This is the main reason why Aqua has been stuck doing nothing in Kazuma's mansion. As for her request to build Axis Cult City, Kaito argued he would only build it later when Aqua had help to revive people that the chat group members wanted to.

"Whatever." Kazuma just shrugged, and then those a suitcase full of money to Aqua, "Here, some money, don't bother me. I need to work 2 hours later."

For Kazuma, money in this world is not that important, although he still got paid in it besides the points. In fact, none of the chat group members cares about money and puts more importance on the points... that are literally capable of doing/buying anything they need.

Aqua quickly grabbed the suitcase and checked the contents, and she was excited when she found it was full of money. "Thank you, Kazuma-san. I am glad you brought me down from the divine realm!"

"And I regret it. Though the chat group probably already kicked me out, if not because of you."

"Pffft... that's right, you should be grateful to this goddess!"

"Shut up! Just go out already!"

After that, Kazuma continued to laze around while Aqua pretty much ran to the tavern, excited to run a big party there with the big money that Kazuma gave him.

In the end, every new member is doing well and pretty happy after joining the chat group. Even Rimuru manages to fulfill his goal to save Izawa Shizue using the point that was lent by Kaito quite easily, thanks to the system's help. While Rimuru still decides to follow what happened in the original, things get much better and develop way crazier than the original.

For example, Rimuru already anticipated the orc attack soon by starting to arm his followers with a modern firearm, to reduce casualties among his followers, unlike in the original. Rimuru even already set up the portal to let his world be connected with the base world... after being persuaded by Kaito and others to develop a monster country in the base world, free from all the dangerous elements that his world has.

Needless to say, in a month, another 'country' dedicated to monsters would appear, adding more diversity of race in the base world.
