201. Black Bullet : War Against Scorpion and Tokyo Area Government. (2)

It's been half an hour, and the war between chat group members and Scorpion with her army is still going... as there's just way too many Gastrea creatures attracted to the area compared to the plot, thanks to the curse influence.

While waiting for Saitama to finish Scorpion on the sea, following the plan, chat group members are also doing their best to clean up the Gastrea creatures that swarm in Iwaki. Since everyone needs to go all out, each member has been stationed in a specific large area by themselves to deal with the Gastrea creatures that come to their position.

On top of that, everyone who is currently fighting in the war also keeps opening their chat group time to time to report, while also showing all of their broadcast together so Aika could monitor all of them at the same time from the backline.

[Mage of Exodus]: "Good idea, Erina-san. Keep it up, but if you are tired, please tell us so you can take a rest!"

[Railgun Girl]: "I will keep it in mind. I think I could keep moving for another hour. Speaking of which, Sakuya, who is on the foremost frontline, makes the most kills."

In the very frontline near the coastline, Sakuya is blitzing around through the battlefield, destroying all creatures that she passes on using her superior physical strength alone, while being an unstoppable force of destruction. 

With her ability to manipulate time, it's impossible for the Gastrea creature to even see her, let about land any attack on her. As one of the members that possesses 6* strength, Sakuya shows how strong she is as her knives keep flying aroun,d destroying all enemies that want to get close to her.

Most of the servants are also hovering around the frontline, with some notable ones such as Berserker, Arturia (Saber), Mordred (Saber), and Karna (Lancer) dealing with the most creatures among all servants. Being a servant, they aren't afraid of Injury, nor energy consumption with Manaka as their master.

As for other chat group members, they positioned themselves after Sakuya. For example, Misaka, with electromagnetic Lv 5 and thunder fruit, turned into her lightning form, greatly cooking anything that gets close to her an atom! She also has been occasionally throwing a deadly railgun, obliterating every creature that happens in its path.

[Owner]: "It seems you are worthy of your nickname in the group, Misaka-san. I saw a lot of electric energy lingering around the battlefield nonstop."

Looking at where Misaka is stationed has turned into a literal land full of 'charcoal'; it's not an exaggeration to say Misaka probably has the most monster-killing count after Sakuya. 

[Mage of Exodus]: "Misaka-san, I need to remind you to be careful of accidentally injuring other members."

[Railgun Girl]: "Of course. Well, it's not like we can injure each other anyway!"

[Necromancer]: "But Misaka-san, there are people like Ilya and Kaguya who are not part of the chat group."

Looking at Kaguya, not far away from her, Misaka admits she did act quite recklessly and quietly move away from any "non-official" chat group member who participated in the war. Although she's not part of the chat group, Otsutsuki Kaguya easily destroys anything around her elegantly using Rinnegan's basic ability, pulling and throwing the creature around him to oblivion. Even without the Varanium effect, Kaguya has the All-killing Ash Bone to destroy any Gastrea completely in a single hit.

Misaka herself is also afraid of getting hit by Kaguya's deadly jutsu, so Misaka herself aware she needs to change her location.

Looking at Itachi making a joke out of nowhere, almost every member laughed-- which made an impression that they were not in the middle of the war. But the truth is, now everyone has mastered haki in some form, every chat group member capable of detecting every creature around them, even with a close eye, so they have the leverage to chat in the chat group while fighting mindless creatures seriously.

[Ohara Survivor]: "Pffft... Thanks to your joke, I almost got injured by a Gastrea creature earlier, Itachi-san."

[Mage of Exodus]: "It's dangerous to make a joke in the middle of the war... even if you have an easy time. Any moment of carelessness could easily result in a wrong decision."

Unlike others, Itachi, who is positioned on the west of Iwaki, using his Perfect Susanoo (upgraded from the system), easily sweeps a large number of Gastrea creatures every single move, killing hundreds or even thousands of them. With his Susanoo, Itachi has been swinging the Totsuka sword around while releasing Amaterasu around him to limit their movement and burning every creature that gets affected to nothingness. Also, it provides direct armor for him, rendering any weak Gastrea creature attack useless.

[Railgun Girl]: "But with Susanoo, I am so envious. Itachi is the only one in the frontline with a clean body! These creatures' blood is so nasty, and I have been cleaning myself a dozen times since the beginning of the war!"

[Owner]: "Susanoo directly prevented him from getting dirty after all."

[God Tongue]: "And the smell... It's so terrible! I am glad that I am not on the frontline."

[Mage of Exodus]: "It's a war, after all. Just ask the chat group system to turn off your smell sense temporarily during the war. I have been doing that, and it only cost me 2000 points."

Their showing of power also made Kaito realize that not only he, but everyone in the chat group has been really growing stronger... which made him very happy since it means they have the means to protect themselves better now.

With a few prominent, strong chat group members staying in the frontline, there's also Kaito, with Gilgamesh directly protecting the backline, using their respective Gate of Babylon. Together, they have been shooting all enemies from afar using their treasures, aiming toward creatures that manage to slip or survive from the frontline, and even make a competition out of it.

"The blonde boy, it seems you are not as skilled as me when it comes to throwing your weapon at enemies." Gilgamesh mocked Kaito, which made him furious, and he yelled, "Shut up, you are also blonde! I am also still new to using this, okay?!"

"Hahahaha! Look at me and learn! I allow you to see this king as part of your inspiration to get stronger!"

"Damn it! I don't need you to teach me, bastard!"

As for the underage people, both Nanoha and Fate are maneuvering expertly into the sky, blowing up all the battlefield below them, and are responsible for taking down all aerial enemies. Since both Nanoha and Fate have been known to be people with the most energy in the chat group, they have been throwing a lot of explosions around... and the most destructive in the battlefield after the Kazehana x Akitsu duo.

And then there were Ilya and Jack were in the backline where the seven-star treasure was getting protected and only occasionally made a move, alongside all the weak members. They are dealing with many fewer monsters in the backline and helping protect Manaka and Aika, who technically commanded the battlefield.

As the strategist and commander in the plan, Aika carefully watches the battlefield and gives orders to everyone through the chat group to make sure everything is going well by watching the chat group members' situation from the broadcast and in real time at the same time. She is ready to consume group points of anything that goes wrong, too, and become the last bastion of defense.

Manaka, especially the most important one, since it's Manaka who maintained the barrier outside of the Iwaki area and also supplied mana to all of the dozen servants that are currently wreaking havoc on the battlefield on the battlefield. She's the one who holds the Legacy of seven stars, too... hence, that's why the Gastrea creature has been going in her direction non-stop.

"Are you okay, Manaka-san?" Aika asked with concern, realizing her face looked tired, "You could remove some servants on the frontline if you want to. Everything is currently under control just fine."

"It's okay. It's very taxing mentally, but physically, I am still really okay." Manaka replied kindly, "I didn't expect you to care about me."

"Pffft... who knows? You should keep watching the chat group broadcast of everyone instead of being concerned with me, don't you?" Manaka jabbed in.

Although both of them dislike each other openly, they are also working together in this war as they hold a crucial role. Both of them are the most well-protected members in this war-- and if something happens, there's even Obito, who's ready to teleport them away in case danger happens.

So, even though from the outside it looks like a brutal war where the chat group members are outnumbered by hundreds of thousands or even millions, none of the chat group members have been seriously injured so far, and it's just a matter of time before they win at this rate. The energy normally would be an issue, but Kaito has provided them dozen holy grails, which give them the ability to refill their mana/energy whenever they need to during war.

Only Saitama is currently having a genuine 'fight' in this whole battlefield, while the rest are like 'showcasing or testing' their ability to clean up many Gastrea creatures.

Like it's not a real surprise.

Even a servant with an anti-army noble phantasm like Karna could clean this battlefield if they wanted to, if not because limited amount of energy and mental constraint. 

Yuu alone probably could kill everything alone with her ability if they forced herself to fully realize her reality manipulation ability.

The only reason they didn't want to is that doing such a thing would cost too much energy for any individual and also concern affecting their non-cahat group teammate.

Besides that, most chat group member wanted to use this war to hone their experience and working together, and so far it has proven to be the correct decision. Everyone now knows what other members are capable of, and even somehow having fun together in war.

However, despite the good situation, Kaito can't stop his bad feeling about this 'war'. Kaito was well aware that things were going too smoothly right now-- too smoothly, which means his bad luck is going to kick him very hard soon.

...And he was truly right about that, after he learned what the Tokyo Area government decided to do with them.
