The Martial Unity

Chapter 4627: The Thrust of Victory

Rui’s expression sharpened as the projectile shot forth at relativistic speeds. He could easily evade it with hyperdimensional maneuvering, but if he did, then the projectile would hit Gaia.

Even though it was being protected by Mother Maeria’s nature shield, that shield was not indestructible. Fighting one high-tier Divine Mother was the limit. If the attacks of two Divine Mothers piled on it, then even if the shield held up, which it likely wouldn’t, the impacts would still ravage the planet.

He couldn’t use hyperdimensional maneuvering to evade the attack.

"Dirty tactic."

RUMBLE!!!!!

He mobilized the negatron matter within his body, creating a powerful antigravity field around him that shifted and flowed, like Water. His hand reached out to the powerful webshot, interacting with it through the touch of anti-gravity, using that to redirect the attack away from Gaia.

And yet, that required him to be tangible.

That was exactly what the Divine Mother had been waiting for.

"I. Have. You. Now."

An extremely lethal jab filled with a web fluid that could destroy the web of integrated information charged at him from behind.

And yet, it was within his prediction.

WHOOSH

He simply teleported away, having foreseen the attack with a combination of Prophecy of the Void and the SOUL System.

Yet, he was not the only one who saw through his opponent.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

The Divine Mother’s web shot had been waiting for him point-blank at the very moment he reached his teleportation destination a few meters away from her.

SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT

Rui’s eyes widened as webs spread across his entire body, covering him, binding him with a web that was almost impossible for him to escape from. In all of the fights he had had with Divine Mothers, all of them had tried to tag him with their web projectiles.

None had ever succeeded.

None until now.

Divine Mothers were extremely good at reading the mind webs of integrated information. At the Transcendent Realm, they could intuit intention from a single glance at a person’s integrated information.

Divine Mother oooo—— was particularly excellent at this, with all of her experience. Not only that, even though Rui had prevented her from freezing time, He passed through time more slowly than others, causing his movements, his reactions, and his reflexes to be sluggish in comparison.

"Rgh!" Rui struggled to break through with just his raw power. His Martialverse was too busy preventing her from freezing time for him, so he could only rely on his own Realms of power to break out.

Yet, she had no intention of making it easy for him.

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!!!

Even as he struggled to break free from the extreme adhesiveness and tensile strength of a Divine Mother’s webs, the Divine Mother ravaged him with an onslaught of attacks. With her Webverse keeping his Martialverse in check, wrestling for control over time itself, she was confident she could tear his body apart with the extraordinary power of her law-altered physicality.

She swung her web stinger at him, aiming to shatter his body with an extreme amount of raw power.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!

RUMBLE!!!!!

Her eyes widened as her stinger slammed into something so tough that it made even her feel pain from the collision. At the same time, a surge of electromagnetic flux suddenly emerged from Rui’s body.

It was the familiar sensation of prothanite.

He had converted the exotic pluripotent matter from negatron matter to prothanite at the very last minute, using it to lace parts of his body. At the same time, he shifted his body at just the very last moment using hyperdimensional motion to use her own attack to tear apart her own webs. At the same time, he had used the Gene Realm to alter the cell walls of his body to make them highly anti-adhesive, making it that much harder for them to remain.

Doing all of this while time was still slowed down for him was extremely difficult, buth the result was favorable.

SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT!

His hands flew apart as the web finally tore from the combined power of both Administrators, much to the frustration of the Divine Mother, who realized that not even getting trapped in her web was enough to take him down.

She couldn’t dominate him by binding the Calabi-Yau Manifold.

She couldn’t dominate him by manipulating the web of space and time.

She couldn’t dominate him even when she had him completely immobilized within her webs.

She was very much on the offensive and had the initiative over the battle, but Rui’s absurd tenacity had allowed him to survive. This reckoning only made her more grim and urgent. He could shrug off the price of the Transcendent Realm because of Administrative impunity, but she would disappear if she didn’t succeed.

Rui, on the other hand, only felt emboldened by his repeated foiling of her plans. His Martialverse plus his hyperdimensional laws barely managed to prevent her from freezing time entirely, only slowing it down. Having the flow of time slowed down only for him relative to his opponent was a huge disadvantage, but it was not unbearable.

His brain transmitted light signals instead of electrical impulses, thankfully. And the speed of light constant was a law of Physics, allowing him to retain some of the speed of his accelerated thinking.

’I can do this.’

He could survive a battle with one of the strongest Divine Mothers.

He could not only survive, but he could also stalemate her.

Not only could he stalemate her...

"I can win."

His ethereal eyes lit up with a deep eagerness as he beheld his powerful opponent.

For the first time since the battle began, he could finally find some pleasure in it.

He wanted to defeat this enemy.

No, he was going to defeat her.

One on one.

He could do it.

And that was when it happened.

SPLAT

His eyes widened as a flash of pain flickered in their eyes. He gazed down at the tip of a web stinger sticking out from his chest.

It impaled him from behind, through his back.

It didn’t belong to Divine Mother oooo——, who simply smiled at him with a cruel vindication.

It didn’t belong to the other four fighting his friends.

No.

It belonged to the sixth.

The sixth Divine Mother that he had incapacitated with his hyperdimensional Tide of Samsara with an ambush at the very start of the battle.

"I. Will. Make. You. Suffer. For. Subjecting. Me. To. This."

Her clicks were intense, filled with hatred and anger. He could sense that she hadn’t managed to exorcise the dimensionally maneuverable poison from her body, but had merely formed a temporary space-time prison for the poison.

She had returned to the battlefield when he least expected it.

His reactions were slowed down by time manipulation and his own immersion in the battle with his opponents, slowing him down.

"Now. Then... It’s. Time. To. Capture. You. Emperor. Of. Water!"

RUMBLE!!!!!

Two powerful Divine Mothers pounced on him, hoping to end the battle with the thrust of victory.
