The Martial Unity

Chapter 3327: Manifolding Marveling

Chapter 3327: Manifolding Marveling

Mother Alicia gazed at him with a pointed gaze before accepting his hand, allowing him to guide her into the training chambers. Her attention returned to the expansive Martial training center with an expression of disbelief.

A vast space spanning a diameter of a hundred kilometers dedicated to Martial Art, for the most part, had come out of nowhere.

The dark elves were proud of their space-time technology, but not even Mother Alicia could have fathomed how the humans could have possibly achieved this. Her sapphire eyes wandered about the Martial establishment with a curious, amazed gaze as she studied the establishment with her senses.

It lacked embellishment and was a plain metallic gray from top to bottom, massive as the infrastructure was.

A Martial establishment was a place for Martial Artists to train and grow stronger. It was not a place that needed to have bright colors that didn’t suit the purpose of the infrastructure.

Despite that, she was amazed by the sheer scale of infrastructure that comprised the establishment. It wasn’t just a large number of small establishments, but also a large, singular structure that stretched for kilometers on end.

“It’s an extravagant expenditure to give our Martial Sages the very best training that they can possibly get their hands on,” Emperor Rael’s rich voice drew her attention. “While Martial Sages can train anywhere, theoretically. Having these kinds of resources does help, even though it does cost an obscene amount of money and resources to have these built. I do not wish to shortchange our greatest warriors by being cheap about their training options.”

Her grip around his hand tightened as she turned towards him with a surprised expression. “This entire space is dedicated to your strongest warriors?”

Emperor Rael smiled at her. “Not at all, we accommodate Martial Artists of all five Realms in this space. We train the weakest of Martial Apprentices as well as the strongest of Martial Sages.”

RUMBLE…

She paused as tremors passed through the entire region.

She could feel the very fabric of space and time folding upon itself once more, creating an isolated pocket dimension out of the fabric of reality. Simultaneously, her perception of the world around her shifted a little bit as the training center warped, bending significantly in each direction that her senses could spread.

Almost as if it had become its own planet.

Despite the very fabric of space folding in on itself to an astonishing degree, what was even more surprising was that the light of the morning Sun and the blue sky still shined upon the Martial establishment.

If one were born within this place, one would have undoubtedly grown up thinking that there was nothing more to the world than this place.

“What…” she found herself dazed with shock. “What is this place… is this… is this how the Panama Continent and human civilization have spent the past one hundred and eighty-seven thousand years? Thinking you were the entire planet?”

The Emperor of Harmony nodded.

“Exactly.”

He affirmed her misunderstanding regarding the amount of time they had spent in the manifold because he didn’t want the true world to know that they had only spent one thousand and three hundred years in the Panama Manifold before the Unfolding brought them into the true world.

It would increase the value of the manifold substantially, causing the dark elves to re-evaluate just how powerful esoteric matter was and how much it could enhance the development of human civilization.

While the dark elves has successfully passed a very difficult loyalty test recently, it was still too early to give them this knowledge.

On the other hand, revealing it would come with the benefit of improving the value of esoteric matter and allow human civilization to get away with selling less with how valuable they were.

It wasn’t an easy decision, but the Emperor of Harmony had decided to err on the side of caution rather than simply trying to make an extra buck or two in international trade. The survival and long-term prosperity of human civilization were the most important priorities of them all.

He guided the Mother of Nature deeper as he showed some of the Martial establishment in the manifold, showing her various ranks and some of their training while Mother Alicia absorbed everything with an engrossed interest.

“Martial Art…” she murmured as she studied a large field of Martial Apprentices sparring with each other. “What a fascinating source of power. It seems that Prince Rui hadn’t been exaggerating when he said that elven hand-to-hand combat was poor compared to even the Martial Apprentices of human civilization.”

“We take pride in our combat prowess,” Emperor Rael replied with a knowing tone. “It is the greatest source of power, after all, even more so than esoteric matter. However…”

He turned towards her with a pointed gaze. “This is not the objective of why I brought you here.”

She raised an eyebrow at him with a surprised expression. “Even this incredible revelation about the truth of where the Panama Continent was this entire time is not the main purpose of this guide?”

Emperor Rael smiled at her.

“You’ll understand when you see it. Come this way.”

He took her along, hand in hand, as he brought her to the very epicenter of the manifold, in a highly secure facility guarded by nothing short of two Martial Sages at all times. The giant facility resembled an ordinary research and development facility with a silent, eloquent charm to its architecture compared to the rugged, martial touch of the training chambers across the entire manifold.

STEP

They found themselves before its giant gates with the Tempestuous Fortress himself standing guard outside the facility.

“Your Majesty.” The Martial Sage bowed his head lightly and briefly before the Emperor of Harmony even as the gates behind.

“How have you been, old friend?” Emperor Rael smiled at him.

“Just fine these days, Rael,” The Tempestuous Fortress grew more nonchalant. “Preparing myself for an inevitable war.”

His attention turned towards the dark elf standing beside Emperor Rael, holding his hand.
