Chapter 2763 Churning Exchange
Chapter 2763 Churning Exchange
Rui watched as the two women faced off against each other.
The Blood Lord was also rendered into a bystander.
The human scientists and scholars remained bowing to the Blood Goddess with pious reverence.
The air was electric.
The atmosphere tingled with peril.
The brewing tension boiled tumultuously as the two women faced off against each other.
The Blood Goddess’s bloodlust was malevolent.
It was chilling.
One moment, she just stood there, unbothered by her nude appearance.
The very next moment—
FWOOSH!
She appeared before Amare in the blink of an eye. The two fingers of her jab surged toward Amare’s eyes with tremendous speed and power.
Unfortunately for her, the Omni-Martial was not one to be done so easily.
WHOOSH
A smooth sidestep was all it took to evade the blow before smoothly converting that evasive maneuver into a tremendously heavy roundhouse kick.
One that landed hard.
BOOM!
The Blood Goddess’ eyes widened with a hint of surprise at the sheer amount of tremendous power Amare unleashed with a simple kick.
It struck her like a grade-ten technique, launching her away.
FSSS…
The Blood Goddess landed away with a graceful summersault, skidding across the floor of the facility.
A hint of irritation flashed in her eyes. “I suppose I can’t hold back.”
BADUMP!!!
Rui’s eyes lit up as a titanic surge of power lit up from within her body as her Martial Heart and Martial Mind bloomed in all their ephemeral glory. Her Martial Heart lit her body up like the Sun. It was so ferociously powerful that the sheer light intensity was blinding to the human eye.
It was easily one of the most powerful Martial Hearts that Rui had ever seen in his entire life.
Her Martial Embodiment erupted from within the depths of her being, consuming the entire world. Rui’s eyes widened with shock as a maelstrom of blood subsumed all of heaven and earth. It gushed forth unrelentingly, drowning everything and everybody in the bloody tsunami.
“Arrghhh!”
“HELP HELP!”
“Save us from your wrath, O Blood Goddess!”
And yet, she ignored the pleas of her devotees.
The same people who worshiped her.
The same people who caged her.
She trampled on all of them mercilessly as her bloodlust grew increasingly malevolent.
“…You are truly cruel.” Amare’s voice was impassive.
Which was a snarl by her standards.
She had avoided activating her Martial Mind because she didn’t want to mentally harm the scientists who were still in the facility. But given that the Blood Goddess had already done that, she had no choice but to activate her own Realms of power to protect herself and Rui.
BADUMP!
Her Martial Heart was much weaker than that of the Blood Goddess, yet it was refined and honed.
Every iota of power it generated on a biochemical, mechanical, thermodynamic, and even quantum level was harnessed and mastered. It was an unfathomable dimension of mastery.
“…I remember you now.”
A faint murmur escaped the Blood Goddess as realization dawned on the Blood Goddess.
She didn’t remember Amare’s appearance.
But even she couldn’t forget the tremendous mastery that she was witnessing before her.
“If you survived me once…” the Blood Goddess narrowed her eyes. “You should have thanked your stars and stayed away.”
WHOOSH
In the blink of an eye, she arrived before Amare with a ferocious velocity with her blood-red nails surging towards Amare at blazing speeds.
THWACK!
Amare’s parry was unyielding, smacking the Blood Goddess’ dainty arm out of the way with her tremendous passive power while her other palm surged forward with blinding speed, blasting her opponent’s bare chest with destructive impact.
And yet, a cold smile appeared on the Blood Goddess’ smile.
“Thank you for the juice.”
Amare’s eyes widened as he felt the power of her impact being absorbed into the shining blood of her opponent, effortlessly being transmitted to her next attack.
BOOOOOM!!!!!
A thundering kick blasted into Amare’s guard, imparting a tremendous impact not unlike Amare’s own attack. Amare skidded across the enormous facility with a smooth and clean motion, regaining her footing immediately.
And yet, the Blood Goddess had already arrived, throwing a flurry of piercing jabs with her sharp, blood-red nails.
THWACK THWACK THWACK!!!
Amare’s eyes sharpened with focus and concentration as she deflected and parried each and every incoming with profound honed motions. These were motions comprised of movements that she had performed every day of her entire life for the past one hundred years.
Everything was Martial Art.
The Blood Goddess’ raw physicality was tremendous. Every movement she made was blindingly fast, like an endless chain of viper strikes. Her fluidity, agility, flexibility, and raw speed were tremendously powerful.
And yet, they were unable to pierce the fortress, which was Amare’s active defense.
POW POW POW POW POW POW POW!!!
Amare intercepted every piercing jab she threw at her opponent’s wrists, exerting tremendous power despite the inconvenient angles.
Her timing and placement were sub-optimal, but her innate mastery of movement was so high that she had the luxury of a wide margin of error. Even if she greatly messed up her timing and placement, her supreme mastery of power allowed her to deflect her opponent nonetheless.
The Blood Goddess’ expression grew cold with malevolence and anger as she realized that her opponent was successfully protecting herself extraordinarily well despite being much weaker physically.
The two women sharpened their eyes as their furious exchange continued.
And despite that, the facility was entirely intact. Martial Masters possessed such extraordinary master of their power that they could fight in an entirely unprotected space without causing even the slightest environmental damage as long as their attacks didn’t hit the environment after being evaded.
Rui watched with lit eyes as the Blood Goddess launched many millions of lethal killing attacks at Amare’s vitals, viciously seeking to kill her in one go. It was a futile effort, for Amare calmly deflected each and every attack that the woman threw at her.
Until she didn’t.
THWACK
One of the piercing jabs that she deflected morphed into a finger gun.
The kind that children would make to play-shoot at each other.
A cold smile emerged on her face.
“Bang.”
A blood bullet emerged from the tip of her finger, surging straight towards Amare’s head at a blinding fast speed.
