The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast
Chapter 2054: Little Taotie Enters the Master of Fate’s Life Token
"Tell us, what exactly happened back then?"
"Yeah, since you say all that was just rumors, then what’s the truth?"
"The War God descended to undergo tribulation, that part’s real, right? How exactly was it arranged in the Life Token? Let us see the skills of the God of Fate!"
Maybe it was the alcohol, maybe he just wanted to brag about his wisdom back then, but the God of Fate actually took out the Life Token.
At first glance, it looked a bit like the Book of Life and Death in those Judges’ hands.
The Life Token was white, brimming with vibrant life force; every time a page turned, rosy light flickered.
It recorded things from many years ago, yet this small book in such a tiny space contained countless entries, seemingly endless.
"Found it." The God of Fate stopped flipping and started reading aloud.
Little Taotie’s body was involuntarily sucked toward the Life Token; her Ghost body was like being caught by a Magnetite, unable to escape no matter how she tried.
The God of Fate was completely unaware that the Life Token had just pulled in a Spiritual Body from a different world.
"Back then, when the War God underwent tribulation to become a god, it wasn’t a love tribulation, but an Inner Demon tribulation..."
The God of Fate’s voice grew lighter and lighter. Little Taotie looked up at the sky, as if she could see an enlarged God of Fate, only for a gust of wind to blow a cloud over and cover his face.
Little Taotie fell back onto the lawn, a faint pain throbbing at her ankle.
Familiar short little legs, white fur.
Little Taotie’s eyes went round.
She’d turned into Little Beast Bai Bai!
She stretched out her tiny paws to touch the top of her head; the difference was that the horns on her head were gone.
Limping, she made her way to the lakeside. The water reflected her current appearance: a chubby white—cat!
Actually, Bai Bai’s juvenile form already looked very much like a cat, just with a pair of horns on its head and fluffy lion-like fur.
"Awoo!" Little Taotie clapped a paw over her mouth, shocked at the weird sound she’d made, somewhere between a cat and a dog.
"A cat! There’s a little cat over there!" A group of kids ran over.
Little Taotie was scared they’d be wearing ancient costume, but luckily they were in modern clothes, elementary school uniforms at that.
Little Taotie’s stomach was a bit hungry. Thinking she now looked like a kitten, if she went over and meowed a couple of times, she should be able to beg for some food.
But those elementary school kids who looked so innocent and pure suddenly revealed demonic smiles, picking up stones from the ground and throwing them her way.
"Let’s see who can hit it!"
"My aim’s the best!"
"Why isn’t it running? If it doesn’t move, it’s no fun!"
"It’s just like hunting—prey’s only more challenging when it moves!"
"I hit it!"
"Hahaha, I hit it too!"
"Whoever misses has to treat everyone to food!"
"But we all hit it, so who’s treating?"
"Then we’ll see who hits it the most times!"
Even though those little stones didn’t really hurt when they hit her, Little Taotie was still furious. She bared her teeth at those kids: "Awoo!"
"The cat’s barking like a dog?"
"Sounds more like a wolf, doesn’t it?"
"Haha, who cares if it’s a wolf or a dog, as long as it’s not a cat sound it’s rare! Hurry up and record it!"
Little Taotie shut her mouth and turned to leave.
"Don’t run!"
"You’re not allowed to run!"
Those kids actually chased after her.
Little Taotie’s leg was injured; she couldn’t run fast. She stumbled forward and suddenly tumbled...
Only, her forehead didn’t hit the ground—it slammed into a hand, and then she was lifted up into the air.
"It’s Hua Zhan!"
"He hits people really hard! Run!"
"Why should we run? He snatched our toy!"
"He doesn’t reason with people. Anything he sets his eyes on becomes his. If you try to argue with him, he’ll beat you up!"
"He’s the famous school bully, totally unreasonable!"
The group of kids scattered in panic.
Little Taotie raised her cat head; her round pupils met the eyes of the person in front of her.
It was Huahua?!
