The Lovely Heiress Is Actually A God Beast

Chapter 2051: Unfathomable Power

  • Next Chapter

Little Taotie recalled past memories, a tear lingering at the corner of her eye, "But Master is dead..."

Prince Ming sneezed.

This time it wasn’t because of the cold.

It was because he felt offended, after all, he was her master, and her saying her master is dead was essentially cursing him!

Prince Ming coughed dryly, "I’m very much alive."

"Are you...really my master?"

Little Taotie blinked at him with misty eyes.

This person bore some resemblance to her master.

Was he from the master’s past?

Her master from a previous life?

He appeared like a very powerful immortal. How did her powerful immortal master become Horse-face?

The little Taotie’s mind was full of question marks, her gaze becoming bewildered.

Her eyes were very beautiful, seemingly filled with countless stars, and when she was confused, those stars wandered in the depths of her eyes like a frenzied galaxy cascading down.

Prince Ming gazed at her and immediately uttered a stern rebuke.

He almost lost himself in the little girl’s gaze.

Little Taotie was startled by his sternness and instinctively retreated, hiding behind War God, poking out her little head, peeking at him fearfully.

"Don’t be afraid, there was just a little accident earlier."

"Accident?" Little Taotie tilted her head and looked at him.

Prince Ming coughed dryly, "You possess some unfathomable abilities, maybe you’re unaware of them."

"Unfathomable abilities?"

"The ability to make immortals lose themselves."

"Make immortals lose themselves?" Little Taotie was more bewildered.

War God frowned, "Prince Ming, please enlighten us."

Prince Ming began divining, his fingers quickly making calculations, eyes half-closed.

"Eyes are the windows to the soul, her eyes originate from the soul, and her soul is not from this realm, thus breeding unfathomable abilities. When gazed upon, some immortals...may perish."

Little Taotie looked puzzled, "Immortals may perish? Just by me looking, they would perish?"

Prince Ming shook his head, "Under a certain chance."

"A chance?"

"Your pupils will appear as double pupils, starry rivers flowing deep within, and when the galaxies cascade."

"My double pupils?" Little Taotie touched her pocket, only to realize the mirror wasn’t there.

"Is there a mirror?"

Prince Ming casually conjured a pool of water, which floated up and transformed into a water mirror, reflecting Little Taotie’s image.

Little Taotie stared at her own eyes for a long time, her eyes grew tired, she blinked to relieve the fatigue, then continued staring.

In Little Taotie’s concept, double pupils likely resembled the effect of those elder girls wearing contact lenses rolling their eyes, creating a separation effect between their pupils and lenses, forming double pupils.

Little Taotie stared at her reflection in the water mirror for ages, failing to see the double pupil effect.

"I don’t have double pupils." Little Taotie furrowed her little brow, gazing at Prince Ming slightly aggrieved.

Prince Ming found it amusing, shook his head, and put away the water mirror. "It’s not something you can control, or maybe, someday you might be able to, but right now you can’t harness this power. Earlier you inadvertently displayed your double pupils, revealing your unfathomable abilities. My rebuke was merely to snap you out of it, because the power is too strong, before you can manage it, you may lose yourself or be overtaken."

Little Taotie half-understood.

War God’s expression grew serious.

In Prince Ming’s account, this ability held equivalent power to annihilate immortals.

Immortals would not allow such a threat to exist.

War God said in a deep voice, "Do not let a fourth person know about this matter."
