The Last Cartographer of Broken Worlds
Map Projection
The golden aura of the newly awakened Class—[SOVEREIGN MASTER CARTOGRAPHER]—settled around Eren Vale like an intangible mantle of starlight and pure spatial authority.
Standing on the vast marble terrace of Aethel-Prime’s eastern threshold, Eren looked down at his right hand. The brass stylus he had inherited from his father was no longer merely a tool for inscribing lines upon vellum. It pulsed with a warm, living resonance that mirrored the heartbeat of the entire unified multiverse. Beside him, the three-dimensional golden hologram of the Grand Sovereign Nexus Bastion—which he had projected into physical white adamantine seconds ago during the battle against the Void-Shatter Archons—remained completely solid, immutable, and real.
"It hasn't faded," Lyra Arden whispered, her sharp blue eyes wide with awe as she walked up to the towering adamantine wall and pressed her gloved hand against its polished surface. "Normally, any spatial construct formed from mana dissolves back into ether once the skill duration expires. But this... the density, the grain, the ley line conductivity... it's a permanent physical structure!"
Mira Solari hurried beside her, running her delicate fingers over the intricate golden filigree engraved into the wall's base. She raised her brass-rimmed spectacles, her eyes sparkling with scholar's wonder.
"It's the pinnacle capability described in the First Era's lost codices," Mira explained, her voice trembling slightly with excitement. "In the golden age of Aethel-Vael, the Arch-Architects could not spend months or years cutting stone and hauling granite to build cities. They mapped the design into their master registers, and through the art of Map Projection, they brought the entire blueprint into physical existence in a single heartbeat! Eren... you haven't just learned a new skill. You've reclaimed the forgotten construction method of the First Era!"
Darius Stone grinned broadly beneath his visor, resting his broadsword against his armored shoulder with a deep, booming laugh that echoed across the eastern terrace.
"So what you're telling me, Mira, is that our Leader is now a walking, talking fortress builder?" Darius chuckled, slapping his gauntleted hand against his breastplate. "If we ever get surrounded by a horde of void monsters in an open field, Eren can just project a three-story castle around us in two seconds flat!"
"Technically, yes," Eren replied with a faint, thoughtful smile, though his golden irises remained focused on the glowing system interface hovering before him.

Eren closed the system window and looked out toward the eastern horizon of Sector Xi. Beyond the newly restored towers of Aethel-Prime lay Sub-Sector X-04: The Astral Highway, a vast, unmapped void chasm five miles wide that separated the lost continent from the outer galactic rim of Sector Psi and Sector Omega.
While Master Anchor #05 had stabilized Aethel-Prime into physical reality, this five-mile chasm remained an open spatial rift. Turbulent tides of raw, unanchored cosmic mana surged through the gap, preventing standard trade convoys and guild vessels from crossing freely between the sectors without relying on high-cost portal jumps.
"If the Multiverse Cartographer League is going to thrive," Eren said, pointing his stylus toward the turbulent chasm, "the sectors cannot rely solely on isolated portal gateways. They need permanent, open avenues where people, merchant caravans, and land vessels can travel without restriction."
Lyra unholstered her silver horizon compass, watching the four golden arrows shiver slightly as they approached the edge of the terrace.
"The spatial turbulence across that gap is severe, Eren," Lyra warned, her tone growing focused and analytical. "The rift is five miles wide, dropping into a bottomless void stream. Even with our current equipment, building a physical bridge using conventional means would take years of engineering."
"We don't need years," Eren said quietly. "We have the map."
He stepped up to the edge of the precipice. Below him, the five-mile void chasm churned with swirling clouds of violet plasma and unanchored gravity fields. Deep within the chasm, the ambient system interface flashed with environmental notifications.
[ENTERING SUB-SECTOR X-04: THE ASTRAL HIGHWAY] [Target Objective: Establish Permanent Physical Connection Between Sector Xi and Sector Psi] [Current Gap Distance: 8,050 Meters] [Environmental Trait: Unbound Spatial Shear & Gravity Drift] [Status: Unmapped Transit Route]
Eren opened his golden vellum journal. The pages glowed with brilliant, radiant light as the cartographic blueprint of the Grand Sovereign Sky-Bridge—a design he had meticulously sketched and refined during their journey through the Grand Sovereign Nexus—illuminated the vellum.
He dipped his father's brass stylus into his golden spatial inkwell, raising his hand toward the five-mile void.

"By the authority of the Sovereign Master Cartographer," Eren declared, his voice echoing with profound, resonant power across the void. "Forma Realis!"
A blinding beam of golden sunlight erupted from the tip of Eren's stylus, shooting into the center of the five-mile chasm. In the air above the void, a massive, three-dimensional golden wireframe model of an majestic sky-bridge materialized. The holographic model featured four wide lanes paved with polished white granite, flanked by towering adamantine guardrails, celestial streetlamps, and massive quartz support arches anchored into the floating bedrock on both sides of the chasm.
For a brief second, the wireframe shimmered like liquid gold. Then, with a sound like ringing crystal and deep thunder, the hologram solidified.

BOOM-RUMBLE-SHINE!
The golden light condensed into physical matter. Where there had once been five miles of empty, turbulent void, there now stood a breathtaking, eight-thousand-meter avenue of white adamantine and polished granite. Glowing golden ley line conduits ran along the edges of the roadway, emitting a soft, stabilizing field that instantly neutralized the gravitational shear and violet plasma clouds beneath the bridge.
[PROJECTED STRUCTURE MATERIALIZED!]
Structure: Grand Sovereign Sky-Bridge
Structural Stability: 100.0% (Immutable Reality Anchor)
Physical Integration: Complete
Regional Reality Density: Increased to 98.5%
Cartography Points Remaining: 212,995 CP
Darius ran forward to the edge of the new bridge, dropping to one knee and slamming his armored fist onto the granite roadway. The stone didn't even vibrate; it felt as solid as the root of a mountain.
"By the gods' iron!" Darius bellowed, his face glowing with sheer awe. "An eight-kilometer bridge... created in five seconds! Leader, this is completely insane!"
"It's not insane," Mira whispered softly, her eyes wide as she stepped onto the bridge and inspected the seamless junction where the projected stone met the ancient terrace of Aethel-Prime. "It's absolute architectural mastery. The molecular lattice of the bridge is fused directly into the bedrock of the continent."
Suddenly, the spatial air above the center of the bridge rippled violently.
Because such a massive density of physical reality had been injected into the unmapped void chasm, the ambient wild mana of the rift reacted defensively. Three colossal entities materialized out of the dissolving violet plasma in the middle of the bridge. They were sixty feet tall, their bodies formed from jagged, unanchored void obsidian and crackling red spatial lightning—leftover residual constructs born from the unmapped rift.
[MONSTER IDENTIFIED: Rift-Shatter Behemoths (Level 80 - Primordial Void Elementals)]
Type: Wild Rift Guardians
Special Trait: Void Lightning Burst (Emits high-density spatial shockwaves)
Defense Trait: Unbound Phase Shell (Immune to standard physical damage unless grounded)

"Rift-Shatter Behemoths!" Lyra called out, drawing her twin celestial hand-crossbows with lightning speed. "They're trying to sever the support arches!"
"They won't get the chance," Eren said, his golden eyes flashing with quiet resolve. "Darius, anchor their lightning! Lyra, Mira, support from the flanks!"
"ON IT!" Darius roared.
The veteran Vanguard charged down the wide avenue of the projected bridge, slamming his slate-iron tower shield into the adamantine floor with a deafening CLANG.
[SKILL ACTIVATED: Sovereign Bastion of Aegis (Rank 4 - Cosmic Domain)]
Barrier Radius: 80 Meters
Trait: Complete Grounding & Void Lightning Absorption
A radiant golden dome erupted from Darius's shield, locking the three Behemoths inside an immutable physical field. When the Behemoths unleashed waves of crackling red void lightning, the barrier absorbed the energy seamlessly, channeling it harmlessly down into the golden ley line conduits of the bridge beneath their feet.
"Lyra! Lock their joints!" Eren ordered.
Lyra leapt gracefully into the air, firing six cold-iron stasis bolts in rapid succession.
THWIP-THWIP-THWIP!
The bolts struck the glowing quartz knees of the Behemoths, freezing their legs in solid blocks of spatial stasis.
"Mira, strip their phase shells!" Eren commanded.
Mira raised her silver chisel, chanting the ancient High Aethelguard verse of binding.
"By the First Word!" Mira shouted. "'Logos Primus, Forma Anchor!'"
Glowing blue runic equations washed over the three monsters, stripping away their 90% phase-displacement shields and forcing their bodies into 100% physical density.
With the monsters immobilized and grounded on his newly projected bridge, Eren stepped forward. He didn't even need to use standard refactoring skills. Dabbing his stylus onto his journal, he activated [Map Projection] once more—this time projecting a targeted structural modification directly over the space occupied by the three Behemoths.
[SKILL ACTIVATED: Map Projection - Containment Lattice]
A golden wireframe cage of massive white adamantine pillars materialized directly around the three frozen Behemoths. In less than a second, the holographic pillars solidified, crushing the monsters beneath tens of thousands of tons of immutable adamantine pressure!
CRASH-BOOM!
The three Rift-Shatter Behemoths vanished into a brilliant burst of golden EXP specks and rare cosmic crystal drops, leaving the Grand Sovereign Sky-Bridge completely pristine and untouched.
[VICTORY! 3x Rift-Shatter Behemoths Defeated] [EXP Gained: +280,000] [Cartography Points Awarded: +28,000 CP] [Total Cartography Points: 240,995 CP]
[REGIONAL MAP PROGRESS: Sub-Sector X-04 (The Astral Highway)] [Current Completion: 100.0% (FULLY STABILIZED TRANSIT ROUTE)]
As the battle ended, a brilliant golden light swept across the entire five-mile span of the bridge. The system announcement resonated softly across the minds of all four companions.
[SECTOR LINK ESTABLISHED!]
Transit Route: Sector Xi (Aethel-Prime) <---> Sector Psi (The Stellar Cradle)
Regional Stability: 100.0% PERFECT
Status: Open for Multiverse Cartographer League Trade & Exploration
Eren walked to the center of the bridge, looking out across the majestic panorama of united sectors. Below them, the once-turbulent void chasm was now a calm, sparkling sea of starlight. Ahead, the road stretched onward, connecting continent to continent, sector to sector, in an unbroken chain of living reality.
Lyra walked up beside him, her hand sliding gently into his. Her silver compass glowed with steady, radiant golden light, its needles pointing peacefully toward every corner of the vast, open universe.
"You've built more than a bridge today, Eren," Lyra said softly, her blue eyes reflecting the starlight. "You've given the multiverse its future."
Eren Vale looked at his companions—Darius grinning as he wiped his blade, Mira recording the milestone in her lexicon, and Lyra standing faithfully by his side. He held his father's brass stylus high and closed his golden vellum journal with a firm, confident smile.
"The world was once broken," Eren said gently, his voice carrying across the infinite horizon. "But as long as we have the courage to walk, to map, and to build... it will never be lost again."
