The Invincible Strongest Student
Chapter 1454: Ten Orifices Bleeding
Chapter 1454: Chapter 1454: Ten Orifices Bleeding
Kun Yun’s life was rough. To put it bluntly, he was a walking disaster star. A premature baby, he killed his parents just by being born, and later an entire village was wiped out by plague because of him. Over two hundred people lived in that village, and to this day he still doesn’t understand why he was the only one who survived.
The lonely, pitiful Kun Yun was picked up by his master and made into a little Daoist apprentice.
Kun Yun was born to be a Daoist, a prodigy! But he was also greedy. Besides the Dao School arts, he cultivated all sorts of sinister crooked practices as well, and when his master caught him he blew up in fury. Kun Yun simply went all the way and killed his master outright, then cremated him and scattered the ashes into the ocean—saved himself the trouble of Qing Ming tomb sweeping forever after.
Kun Yun’s hunched back was caused by practicing those evil arts. His hoarse voice too. As for that face of his that could scare kids into crying, that part was just how he was born.
This was someone who, down to his bones, was sick of the world, vicious, and ruthless; he was like the embodiment of negative emotions.
A man like that is more like a lone wolf. Even if he has "friends," it’s only because of mutual interests. He does have a disciple, Xv Dongxu, but the two of them don’t get along, otherwise after Xv Dongxu left the Alliance of old families he wouldn’t have gone all this time without coming to find him.
Sitting on the roof tiles of the pavilion, at Kun Yun’s ears besides the summer night wind he could also hear the sound of instruments from inside Wang Shi’s room. Even with not a shred of light in the room, he could still sense that there were cameras inside. Around the pavilion roof there were also several not-weak auras. All of them experts from the Wang Family!
Cross-legged on the tiles, Kun Yun pulled a small porcelain vial from his robe. If the light were better right now, you could see through the transparent body of the vial that inside was black gas, thick and disgusting.
Kun Yun popped the stopper off, turned the vial mouth-down, letting that viscous gas spill downward like incense smoke, then put the tile back in place.
"One, two, three..."
When he counted to five, he could hear under the tiles Wang Shi’s sleep-talking-like cries. You could hear in his voice a shrillness, like a hundred insects gnawing and biting him—pain so bad his veins bulged and his head was drenched in sweat, yet he couldn’t even manage a full-throated scream, a few muffled groans were already the limit.
Hearing that sound, Kun Yun contentedly closed his eyes, his face full of intoxication. Like he was basking in a piece of art.
The black viscous gas he’d just poured down had a very simple name: "Ten Orifices Bleeding." Its effects matched its name; once it’s inhaled into the lungs, it makes the heart hammer wildly and the blood boil over. The blood feels like it’s come alive, surging nonstop out of the body.
Why ten orifices? Besides the seven facial orifices, there’s the navel, the anus, and the genitals.
It’s misery that simply can’t get any worse.
The reason he chose this particular drug couldn’t be any simpler.
Given Kun Yun’s understanding of Lin Tian, when Lin Tian treated Wang Shi’s illness during the day he would definitely have used acupuncture along with medication. That’s his area of greatest expertise.
Using "Ten Orifices Bleeding" could shift the blame onto him perfectly. Tomorrow when the Wang Family members open the door, the very first person they’ll think of will absolutely be Lin Tian! What’s more, this drug dissipates completely in under five minutes, leaving not a single trace to track.
Kun Yun really wanted to stay here and see the looks on the Wang Family’s faces tomorrow. Unfortunately, he wasn’t strong enough; if he hid up on the roof he’d definitely be detected by those two old monsters of the Wang Family, and when that happened he wouldn’t be able to escape even with wings.
...
Lin Tian had his arm around Chen Moxiang’s waist, his feet stepping in a light, nimble gait, and it took him roughly one minute to reach the rear courtyard of the Wang Family ancestral house. This was the entrance to the Wang Family underground palace!
Landing, Lin Tian looked at the view in front of him. Even though the night was pitch-dark, with the night-vision goggles on everything he saw was green, which was pretty weird, but still barely acceptable.
This was a garden. All kinds of flowers were planted, and now that it was summer, you could smell thick flower fragrance with every breath. Jasmine, lotus, clivia...
Unlike city gardens, there were no exercise machines here, and it wasn’t suited to an after-dinner stroll. It was more like a place for idle people to enjoy flowers and moonlight.
Around the flowerbeds, rockeries of all different shapes were arranged, some as tall as three stories high.
Suddenly, the back of Lin Tian’s hand was smacked hard. Chen Moxiang said viciously, "Can you let go of me already?!"
Only then did Lin Tian come back to himself and reluctantly pull the arm encircling Chen Moxiang’s waist away. At the same time he grinned and said, "Forgot, forgot."
Chen Moxiang quickly stepped away a few paces, keeping some distance between them. With the night-vision goggles on, even if she rolled her eyes Lin Tian couldn’t see, so she could only give a heavy snort to express her dissatisfaction.
Lin Tian’s grin grew even wider. The warmth of her body still lingered between his fingers, and the scent of her hair still hung in his nose. Really enough to make a man’s mind wander.
Just then, Xv Jiazhi followed a few seconds behind Lin Tian’s landing and caught up.
Unlike Lin Tian’s easy, strolling manner, even though Xv Jiazhi was trying hard to suppress his breathing, Lin Tian could still hear him panting greedily for air.
Obviously, that kind of high-speed Lightweight Skill just now was a strenuous workout for Xv Jiazhi.
Xv Jiazhi looked at Lin Tian with a strange expression. This was the first time she realized just how huge the gap between them was. Lin Tian had someone in his arms and was leading the way, for god’s sake! How was he managing it without so much as red cheeks or short breath? And Xv Jiazhi was sure Lin Tian had even slowed down!
Lin Tian glanced back at Xv Jiazhi and said, "Your Lightweight Skill’s a bit lacking. When we get back I’ll help you tweak it. Even if you can’t reach my level, at least it won’t be this exhausting."
Xv Jiazhi chuckled, "Thanks, Master."
"No need for all the formalities between us."
After speaking, Lin Tian swept his gaze around again. Aside from flowers, plants, trees, rockeries and a fish pond, there was nothing else here, so he asked, "So where’s the entrance to the underground palace?"
Xv Jiazhi said, "Inside one of the rockeries. It’s just that there are so many rockeries here, I don’t know exactly which one."
Chen Moxiang tilted her head to look at him and said, "You can’t even find the entrance? I seriously doubt how much help you’re going to be. Let’s hope when we’re facing mechanisms and traps, you’ll actually be useful."
Getting dissed like that by a woman, Xv Jiazhi didn’t get angry; he just smiled and said, "Mr. Chen, don’t worry, I’ve got this. I definitely don’t plan on dying this young."
Chen Moxiang ignored him, only saying, "Follow me."
With that, she headed toward the pavilion in the center of the fish pond. At the back of that pavilion, a rockery happened to be joined onto it, looking very elegant.
Lin Tian really hadn’t expected the entrance to be in a place like that. An underground palace entrance hidden in a pond—what a hassle to build, and indeed completely unexpected.
