Chapter 1375: Chapter 1375: Carrying a Sharp Blade

The Celestial Dragon Continent has over a billion people, and Kanyue City alone has more than twenty million, so there are surely many people named Huang He.

All Zhang Ya’Er knew was that person’s name was Huang He, and she only learned this from overhearing Lin Tian and the others chatting in the hospital room. So this name was merely a starting point.

Additionally, Zhang Ya’Er discovered that the person named Huang He had interacted with Li and Lin Tian that evening. Therefore, as long as she investigated where they went that night, the truth would naturally come to light.

The person helping Zhang Ya’Er investigate was nicknamed Huang Laojiu, a tech enthusiast with some official connections, an old friend she had known for many years. Over the years, they had collaborated a few times.

Ten minutes later, Huang Laojiu found out that there were nearly a thousand people named Huang He in Kanyue City, spanning all ages and genders. He filtered the information and sent it to Zhang Ya’Er.

When she received Huang Laojiu’s email, another friend of Zhang Ya’Er, who was investigating Li’s activities that day, also sent an email.

Cross-referencing the two, Zhang Ya’Er quickly identified the specific Huang He.

Finding a needle in a haystack, just like that.

After reviewing the information, Zhang Ya’Er finally understood a bit about this guy.

His family is in the fruit business, and various distant relatives have different businesses in Kanyue City, including catering, entertainment, film, pharmaceuticals, car dealerships, and real estate. These connections create a network that forms Huang He’s foundation, allowing him to stand on a certain social level.

Moreover, Huang He is good at making friends. Naturally, his friends are not ordinary people; they include heirs of wealthy families and children of officials, a gathering of shady characters living without restraint.

And Huang He has another major hobby... snatching other people’s girlfriends. The purer they are, the more he likes them, enjoying the corruption of their innocence with money. It seems to be a psychological perversion.

Of course, Huang He has caused many incidents because of this, most of which he has settled himself. His tall and imposing physique and some basic martial arts skills, along with a group of unsavory friends, make it difficult for boys from average families to contend with him.

If a boy pushes him too hard, Huang He might even take certain measures, such as breaking a leg or an arm, or using other methods of torture, to satisfy his perverse psychology.

Just last winter, Huang He set his sights on the girlfriend of a boy from a somewhat influential family. After failed attempts to woo her over a few days, he eventually resorted to drugging her.

Later, Huang clashed fiercely with that boy. The conflict escalated to involving both families, and in the end, Huang’s family suffered some minor losses to settle the matter. But Huang was scolded harshly by his father and grounded for a month.

A month later, Huang He learned a lesson: don’t get too inflated just because the family has some money; it’s an easy way to play oneself to ruin. When playing the game, he should choose soft targets!

In Huang He’s eyes, Li was an easy target, as his outwardly genteel demeanor seemed too refined, and Qiu Wen fit Huang He’s taste perfectly. Her pure look really excited him.

After that, Huang He launched a fierce monetary offensive against Qiu Wen, throwing money at her lavishly!

The sudden appearance of Huang He was utterly dazzling to Qiu Wen. This man was more masculine and wealthier than Li, sending flowers today, cosmetics and jewelry the next day, and clothes and bags the day after that.

Dazzling like a prince on a white horse.

Soon, luxury items became everyday articles for this ordinary girl. She started to dress herself, began wearing revealing clothes, swaying and posing, developing a sense of superiority.

One was a poor bookworm, and the other a dazzling diamond guy. After some hesitation, Qiu Wen resolutely chose the latter. So she got into the BMW, watching Li’s figure shrink in the rearview mirror until it disappeared altogether.

Did Qiu Wen regret it? The answer is undoubtedly yes.

After all, Huang He only connected with Qiu Wen physically, not emotionally, whereas Li was both emotionally and physically invested.

People are always like this, only realizing the value of something after losing it, until they are left with nothing.

...

Seeing Qiu Wen’s ultimate abandonment by Huang He, a brilliant smile bloomed on Zhang Ya’Er’s face, like a flower.

In her view, Qiu Wen’s fate was just so satisfying!

Turning off her phone and putting it in her pocket, Zhang Ya’Er waited at the roadside for less than half a minute before flagging down a taxi, opening the door, and sitting in the back seat.

The taxi driver was an average-looking man in his thirties. He glanced at Zhang Ya’Er in the rearview mirror and instinctively swallowed hard.

This woman was breathtakingly beautiful. How to describe? Her brows and eyes seemed to have walked out of a painting, and her grace was utterly captivating, a perfect mature woman!

The driver’s eyes moved within the mirror again, wanting to check out the woman’s figure.

She wore a thin tube top dress revealing smooth shoulders and a seductive collarbone. Due to her ample physique, the dress seemed unable to hide the scenery beneath, providing the driver a feast for the eyes.

"Seen enough?" Zhang Ya’Er asked coldly, with a hint of anger in her words.

Caught peeping, the driver laughed awkwardly and retracted his gaze, stealing glances in the mirror from time to time.

He was afraid of a complaint, but the view was hard to resist; he’d accept the complaint!

Zhang Ya’Er loathed that feeling, especially when in a bad mood.

Just as the driver was about to drive, his arm was tapped twice, sending a shiver through him.

No one else was in the car, so it must’ve been the beauty behind him.

Could it be...

Thinking of the beautiful scene, the driver, brimming with excitement, turned his head, smiling, "What’s up, miss?"

Then, he saw it. A ridiculously beautiful right hand holding a drawn fruit knife. It shimmered with a ghostly light.

Seeing the knife, the driver’s smile froze, extinguishing his filthy thoughts, leaving him cowering.

"Focus on the road when driving, don’t look around," Zhang Ya’Er said coldly.

"Un-understood." The driver nodded woodenly, "Where to?"

"Houhai Bar."

Without further words, the driver turned and drove properly. He had no choice; the knife in the woman’s hand never left sight!

Half an hour later, Zhang Ya’Er paid and got out. As for the fruit knife, she kept it with her, though where exactly was unknown.

After some searching, Zhang Ya’Er entered a bar named ’Heavenly Charm’, walked to a booth on the mezzanine, scanned the area, quickly finding her target. Stepping in high heels, strutting like a catwalk, she was brimming with allure.
