Chapter 1877 Lex the….
Heaven’s favor. Lex knew a little something about this. In essence, it was like a good luck charm, but one that actually worked. Wherever he went, whatever he did, the universe would favor him. His bottlenecks would be loosened, he would discover amazing treasures, oh, and also, he would also be tagged by the universe as a lackey and would be dragged into troublesome situations.
But Lex did not fear any of that, nor was that the reason he knew about it. Jack was cursed, and his curse would affect not just him, but those close to him, and so Jack had been looking for ways to overcome his curse. Receiving Heaven’s favor was one way to effectively neutralize the effects of the curse, even if it didn’t necessarily eliminate the curse itself.
When he had a moment of free time, Lex would think about how to transfer the favor over to Jack. Currently, he was slightly occupied being baptised by holy light, while also trying to control his newfound strength from destroying the Crystal realm.
Surprisingly, it was easier said than done. Now officially a Heaven Immortal, Lex’s power had exploded, and that meant more than just having bigger biceps. It meant he was a lot more sensitive to Relational laws.
His mastery of karma far exceeded what his realm should allow, so a higher realm enhanced that mastery manifold. But more importantly, Lex became a lot more sensitive to things related to himself.
When he was an Earth Immortal, he could sense if anyone even thought about something to do with him within a 100 miles of himself. Now, that ability had enhanced in a qualitative way. There was no longer a hard limit on the area surrounding him where he was sensitive to things related to him – instead, depending on the distance, he sensed them differently.
For example, with 500 miles of him, if anyone had any intentions relating to him, he would know. But what about things beyond that? Well… Lex’s instincts were telling him that there were 3 locations back in the Origin realm where he had missed Moon’s clones!
His heart could sense if anyone around him, or even in the same realm as him, was even distantly related to him. At the same time, Lex could feel that he could create his own bloodline with any of his unique abilities and pass it down to his descendants. For a split second he imagined a newborn baby wielding Domination and quickly put that thought out of his head. He didn’t need to distract himself with a potentially NovelFire worthy premise for a slice of life novel named Born with a Badass Dad and Dragon powers!
Another reason he couldn’t focus on it was that his proximity, his instincts and his heart were not the only way to track people. He could feel the threads of karma coming out of his body, each one of a different thickness, each one leading to a different person.
He focused on one slightly and saw an image of Giselle meeting Marlo, except… that meeting hadn’t happened yet. He had somehow used his karmic
connection as a baseline for a minor divination, allowing him to see their meeting.
The influx of new information flooding his mind might have overwhelmed him had he not entered the new realm, but since he had entered a new realm, he handled it with ease. He wasn’t even bothered by the divination he saw of Fenrir being stalked by an unseen foe. Fenrir was no weakling, nor was he on his own. More importantly, Lex was not in a position to worry about anyone else.
He could feel another tribulation waiting for him, much like what happened when he had become an Earth Immortal. Although the situation wasn’t nearly as intense as it was back then, and the chances of repeated tribulations was minimal, Lex had an ominous premonition about the impending tribulation.
It had not descended because the realm he was in was itself in the midst of a transition, but the moment it fused with the Primordial Garden, the tribulation would descend. Now, ordinarily, that would not be enough to bother Lex, especially with all his newfound power.
The reason for any concern at all was simple: his instincts were telling him that the Primordial energy he was about to come into contact with was… spicy!
What the hell did that even mean?
He did not have to wait to find out! Owing to the abnormal speed of the realm as a result of his energy, the Crystal realm slammed into the Primordial Garden like a ballistic missile.
A realm the size of the solar system, that was also just one continuous flat piece of land, surrounded by a realm boundary, slammed into a much larger realm. Fortunately, the collision didn’t result in an explosion. It simply resulted in an… expedited fusion.
The entire Crystal realm, and everyone in it dissolved. Laws much stronger and older than the laws of both the Primordial Garden and the Crystal realm suddenly came into effect, fusing the two realms together like blocks of lego. Right in the middle of the Primordial Garden, there was a creature from a race known as an Eclipsecrawler. The race was neither an Elder nor a Sage, but only because members of that race were far too few in the universe for them to be ranked highly. Even so, this Eclispecrawler, as the owner of the Primordial Garden, had such unfathomable strength that even the owner of Ventura did not cross her.
And at this moment, the owner of the Primordial Garden, the dreaded Eclipsecrawler, the Dao Lord whose strength was so immense and prestige so formidable that the universe only knew her title, not her name, looked at her realm with horror in her eyes.
“No, no, no, not my garden…” she slowly muttered. “Not my art…
noooooooo!!!!!
The Primordial realm would have trembled under the weight of her scream, were every inch of it not being protected by the laws changing it.
Lex, the garden slayer, had struck again.
