The Imperial Martial Pill Venerable
Chapter 625: Attack Together
The Fire Cloud swirled around him as he pushed his Divine Thought to its limits!
Bai Lintian knew he couldn’t afford the slightest carelessness. He was constantly trying to track Qin Ya, but in that instant, a spear tip suddenly appeared before him.
Fast. So fast it broke the limits of Space!
Fast. Faster than his Divine Thought could even react!
Bai Lintian’s Divine Thought flared, and he commanded his Spiritual Artifact. WHOOSH! The Fire Cloud Sword, long since bonded with his will, shot over and narrowly blocked the spear thrust.
“Heh. You blocked one thrust, but can you block ten? A hundred?”
Qin Ya smiled faintly. With a flick of his wrist, he channeled the True Meaning of Speed, unleashing a terrifying storm of spear shadows that exploded outward, as fast as lightning and as dense as a downpour!
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
The air filled with a continuous clangor, like rain drumming on a tin roof. The Fire Cloud Sword and Bai Lintian himself were beaten back step by step, forced into a constant retreat, able to do nothing but defend!
‘Damn it.’
‘I have to retreat!’
Divine Light flowed around Bai Lintian as he suddenly unleashed a slash of Sword Qi. In a flash, he ducked into the Fire Cloud Sea, his presence vanishing completely.
Qin Ya activated his Divine Thought, sweeping it across the area.
However, this Cloud Sea was formed from Bai Lintian’s Flame and possessed the special properties of searing and obstructing Divine Thought, leaving Qin Ya’s search fruitless.
SWISH, SWISH, SWISH…
In a split second, a thousand streams of Flame Sword Qi shot out from all directions.
Seeing this, Qin Ya flicked the longspear in his hand, transforming it into a thousand spear shadows that continuously bombarded the Sword Qi, shattering it with ease.
BUZZ…
With a hum, the Fire Cloud Sword tore through the air, carrying with it a sky full of blazing Flame!
“Hmph, hiding in the Cloud Sea and taking potshots?”
Qin Ya sneered. He flicked his spear again, his Qi and Blood erupting, and violently swatted the Fire Cloud Sword away. But the sword merely spun in the air before coming back at him.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
Qin Ya stood his ground. No matter which corner the Fire Cloud Sword attacked from, the spear in his hand would always be the first to strike, knocking it away.
His speed, precision, and Spear Technique were all impeccable!
‘Since you’re not willing to come out, I’ll just have to drag you out!’
Qin Ya’s gaze hardened, and he instantly channeled the True Meaning of Space.
“Space… Vibration!”
BOOM! A terrifying vibratory force spread out from Qin Ya, causing the surrounding void to tremble and emit a series of thunderous rumbles.
The force of the Vibration grew stronger and stronger. Gradually, white cracks, like shattering glass, began to appear in the void, spreading throughout the entire Cloud Sea.
“Hmph…”
Suddenly, a muffled grunt echoed out.
The sound, tinged with a trace of pain, was particularly jarring within the Cloud Sea. Qin Ya detected it immediately, and his eyes lit up.
“Finally caught you.”
The corners of Qin Ya’s mouth curled up. He activated Shrinking Inches in tandem with the True Meaning of Speed, his velocity multiplying several times over. In the blink of an eye, he arrived in the depths of the Cloud Sea, where he saw Bai Lintian clutching his chest, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth.
He condensed his Palm Qi, channeling the True Meaning of Destruction, and viciously struck out.
“Fire Cloud Palm!”
Faced with the destructive palm, Bai Lintian barely managed to retaliate. He gathered his True Essence, Divine Light flowing around him, and unleashed a crimson Palm Qi that billowed forth like a sea of clouds.
The two palms collided, but the Hand of Destruction held the upper hand!
With a great boom, the Fire Cloud Palm dissipated!
Bai Lintian’s body was struck directly by the terrifying Destruction Palm Qi. Divine Light flared around him as a Defensive Spiritual Artifact he carried automatically activated.
A shield of light formed, completely enveloping him!
But the power of the Palm Qi was beyond imagination!
Even with the light shield’s protection, Bai Lintian’s body was sent flying backward like a cannonball, crashing hard into the ground and gouging out a massive crater!
“PFFT!” Bai Lintian fell to one knee, spitting out a mouthful of blood. Seeing Bai Lintian get blasted out of the sky, the faces of the surrounding spectators changed drastically.
What was happening?
Could it be that the King had won?
Because the Fire Cloud had the effect of blocking Divine Thought, the crowd had no idea what had just transpired in the battle. Seeing Bai Lintian spit up blood now, they were utterly horrified.
BOOM, BOOM…
High in the sky, the vast Cloud Sea was swept away by a terrifying storm and dissipated. A figure in white, holding a longspear, slowly descended to the ground.
“It… it really was that young man who won.”
“Heavens, what in the world happened? He’s just a mere King, how could he possibly defeat Bai Lintian, a Celestial Ranking Master?!”
“Tsk, tsk, since when did Kings become so freakishly strong?”
“Isn’t this young man’s combat power a little too incredible? It’s simply beyond imagination. I’ve lived a long life, and this is the first time I’ve ever seen anything like it.”
“The Amor List? So-called geniuses? They’re nothing but trash in front of this boy. How can such a monster possibly exist in this world?”
Hearing the crowd’s chatter, Bai Lintian’s gaze turned as cold and unforgiving as ten-thousand-year-old ice. He spoke in a frigid voice, “Whoever kills him will be rewarded with one Spiritual Artifact, ten Spirit Pills, ten million Primordial Stones, and a personal favor from me, Bai Lintian!”
As soon as his words fell, the eyes of many in the crowd lit up.
Spiritual Artifacts, Spirit Pills, and Primordial Stones were all Cultivation Resources, things that Martial Artists always needed most. Moreover, a favor from Bai Lintian was no small matter.
He was a candidate for the Celestial Nobility, a man of high status. If one could earn a favor from him, and he later succeeded in becoming a Celestial Nobility, the value would be immense.
For a moment, many people stared at Qin Ya with eyes shining with greed.
But at the same time, they were wary of Qin Ya’s strength and didn’t dare to step forward rashly.
‘To hell with it. Fortune favors the bold. I’ll take the risk.’
‘Perhaps his stamina was completely drained after his battle with Bai Lintian. If I fight him now, my chances of victory aren’t small.’
‘Yes, an opportunity like this is rare. I have to seize it.’
As these thoughts raced through their minds, several people suddenly stepped forward to block Qin Ya’s path.
“Hmph, if you want to harm Noble Lady Bai, you’ll have to get through me first.”
“To harm a noble in broad daylight is to show complete disregard for the law!”
“Why waste words on him? Let’s just go and capture him.”
In an instant, more than a dozen people rushed out from the crowd and surrounded Qin Ya. These individuals were not weak; eight out of ten had a Half-Venerable Cultivation.
Of course, those who were weaker wouldn’t have had the guts to pick a fight with Qin Ya in the first place.
Despite having just fought a major battle, Qin Ya showed not a trace of fear. Instead, the corner of his mouth curled into a mocking smile as he said, “Come on, all of you together.”
“Arrogant!”
“Hmph, ignorant whelp, you’re courting death.”
“To capture this madman, I’ll have to resort to ganging up on him today.”
Not daring to be the least bit careless, the dozen or so people swarmed him at once!
They knew that since Qin Ya could defeat Bai Lintian, his strength was certainly not weak. Although they didn’t know how much combat power he had left, no one dared to underestimate him.
