Chapter 105 The pull 1
Chapter 105: Chapter 105 The pull 1
Talia’s POV
The kiss deepened, and Kaelen’s hands moved to my waist, pulling me closer.
My fingers traced his chest, feeling the warmth of his skin, and the muscles beneath. He was solid and warm, and I wanted to feel more of him.
His skin was hot beneath my fingertips, and I could feel the tension in his muscles, and the restraint he was holding onto. He was being careful with me, and he was treating me like something fragile.
But I did not want to be fragile, not with him.
"You can touch me," I whispered.
His breath hitched. "Talia..."
"I want you to," I said again.
His hands slid down my back, pulling me tighter against him.
I could feel his heart pounding, or maybe it was mine. I could not tell anymore, because it felt like our heartbeats had become one. His breath was warm on my skin, and his hands were firm but gentle. I had never been touched like this before, ever, and I did not want him to stop.
His lips landed on mine again for a moment and then his lips left mine, and started trailing down my jaw, my neck, and my shoulders. I gasped.
Then he pulled back and looked at me. His gray eyes were dark, but still soft.
"Are you sure?" he asked.
I nodded slowly. "Yes. But... I have never done anything like this before, so I... do not know what to do."
My face was burning, and I felt stupid for admitting it. What if he laughed? What if he thought I was foolish? But he did not laugh. He did not even smile.
Instead, his eyes widened in surprise. Then they softened with something like respect.
He just looked at me with those gray eyes, soft and patient. Like he had all the time in the world, and like I was worth waiting for.
He cupped my face in his hands, with his thumbs brushing my cheeks. "You do not have to know. I will show you."
"What if I do something wrong?" I asked in a whisper.
"There is no wrong here. Only us," he said. "Just follow my lead."
I nodded. My throat had gone dry from what I was feeling inside me, and I did not know if the feeling came from me or my wolf.
My wolf was awake now, and she was pressing against my skin, wanting him, and needing him. The way she moved, showed that she had waited so long for this. We both had, and I did not know if I was ready. But I was tired of being afraid, tired of waiting, and tired of holding back.
He kissed my forehead, then my nose, then my lips. Each kiss was soft, gentle, and it was like he was trying to tell me something words could not say.
"Trust me," he said.
"I do," I whispered.
"Then let me lead," he said.
I nodded slowly.
"I will be gentle," he said. "I promise."
He kissed me again, but it was slower, and softer, as his hands roamed my back, and my sides, and he was learning me, the way I was learning him.
I explored his shoulders, his chest, and the scars on his skin. Each one told a story I did not know, but I wanted to learn them all.
One scar on his shoulder was thick and raised. I traced it with my fingertip, and he shivered.
"What happened here?" I asked.
"It was from a fight, a long time ago," he said.
"Did it hurt?" I asked.
"Not as much as watching you almost fall down those stairs," he said.
I smiled. "I did not fall."
"Because I caught you in time," he said.
"You will always catch me, won’t you?" I asked.
He nodded with a clear smile, which was one of a kind, and then he kissed me again.
His lips traced down my throat, my collarbone, and down my chest. And my breath caught.
He pulled my nightgown over my head, and I shivered, but not from cold.
He looked at me properly, and his gray eyes were dark with want.
I had seen him look at me before with curiosity, with concern, and with something I could not name.
But this was different.
This was pure, and raw hunger. And it was not just his, it was mine too. I wanted him to look at me like that forever, and I wanted to be the only one he ever looked at that way.
His gray eyes moved down my body, slow and deliberate. I felt exposed, but not vulnerable, and not afraid.
"You are beautiful," he said.
My face burned. "I do not feel beautiful, because my face is so ugly."
"That is not true, Talia. You are beautiful right now. But if your very minor face issue makes you feel uncomfortable, I will get the best doctor from the human city to give you whatever face treatment you want," he said.
"Why would you do that?" I asked.
"Because I want you to be happy and comfortable being yourself. So if your face bothers you so much, then I will do that. But know this, your face is fine with me no matter how you look." He pressed his palm against my heart. "I feel you, right here."
