The next morning at breakfast, I remembered that Celestia had said something about checking my phone once we were home. So naturally, I did just that. With a piece of perfectly toasted bread and some butter on top, I browsed the Celestial Market, prodding at a few new tabs.

The one that caught my eye however was named LOCATIONS. Clicking on it loaded me into a new list.

"Is this land?!" I said out loud, my voice echoing slightly in the quiet dining room. The sudden noise made Katrina jump, her cat-ears twitching in my direction.

"What’s up?" she asked, walking up and standing next to me, her tail swaying slowly as she peered over my shoulder. The scent of fresh bread and her unique, warm scent filled my senses. "Hey, I know where that place is," she said, leaning forward and pointing to the fourth area on the list with a clawed finger. It was a picture of rolling farmland in Drisle, surrounded by more farmland.

"You know this place?" I asked, turning to look at her. Her usual cheerful demeanor was gone, replaced by a thoughtful, almost sad expression.

"I grew up not far from there. It’s a small, quiet place," she placed her hand under her chin and began making a very serious face. "I u-umm..." she paused, her golden eyes darting away from mine to stare at a spot on the polished wood table. "I’m not welcome there... some guards... Well, I had a bad run in before I left." Her voice dropped to a near whisper on the last few words, and her tail, once swaying gently, was now tucked tightly against her leg.

Damara and Micro-Sarah entered the room together, chatting playfully about something or other. Micro-Sarah noticed us first, she zoomed over to greet us in her soft and shrill voice, a tiny blur of blue and white.

"G’morning Sam," Damara said, leaning against the door frame with her usual effortless grace. Her dark skin seemed to glow in the morning light streaming through the windows. "What are you two up to? You look like you’ve seen a ghost, Katrina."

We spent the next hour going over it. I explained the new LOCATIONS tab, showing them the different options the Celestial Market was offering. There was a bustling port city, a secluded mountain cabin, and a few other places that looked like they were straight out of a fantasy postcard. But my eyes, and Katrina’s, kept drifting back to the farmland in Drisle.

The idea of moving to a quieter place had a certain appeal, especially after the chaos of the Demon Realm. The constant tension, the formal dinners, the feeling of being one wrong word away from being executed... yeah, a quiet life sounded pretty damn good. But Katrina’s hesitation was a clear, flashing red sign.

"Maybe we could just visit first?" Katrina suggested, her ears twitching nervously. "Just to see if things have changed? It’s been a while, and the guards who... well, they might not even be there anymore."

"Or we could look at the other options," Damara said pragmatically, leaning over my shoulder to scroll through the list on my phone. Her proximity was distracting, but I forced myself to focus. "There’s a coastal village here... looks like they have amazing seafood. And a mountain retreat. We don’t have to decide right this second, Sam. This is a big decision."

The discussion was starting to feel heavy, the weight of it pressing down on the relaxed morning mood. Just as Damara was pointing out the pros and cons of a cliffside dwelling, a soft chime from my phone cut through the tension. A new notification from the Harem System blinked at the top of the screen.

[NEW QUEST: A Day of Rest]

[OBJECTIVE: Spend a relaxing day with your harem members. No quests, no fighting, no drama. Just enjoy each other’s company.]

[REWARD: 500 Favor + ???]

"Well, that’s convenient," I muttered, showing the screen to the others. "Looks like the universe wants us to take a break from decision-making."

"A break sounds absolutely divine," Sarah sighed, floating over to land gently on my shoulder. "The last few days have been... eventful. My nerves are still a bit jangled from all that royal posturing."

"So what do we do?" Katrina asked, her tail swishing with renewed energy at the prospect of a distraction. "What does ’relaxing’ mean to you, Sam?"

I thought for a moment, my mind scrolling through the possibilities. Back on Earth, a relaxing day would have been video games and greasy pizza. Here, things were different. I had more resources, and more importantly, more people to consider.

"How about we let Ignis handle the details?" I suggested, a grin spreading across my face. "He’s the butler, right? Let’s give him a challenge. Ignis!"

A moment later, the familiar, slow pitter-patter of his mechanical footsteps could be heard from the hallway. He entered the dining room, his head tilted at a polite angle. "You called, Master?"

"I did," I said, leaning back in my chair. "We’ve been given a quest. A quest for relaxation. I want you to arrange the most relaxing, pampering day imaginable for the four of us. Use the Celestial Market if you have to. Spare no expense."

Ignis’s mechanical eyes widened, or at least, they seemed to. "A most excellent directive, Master. I shall prepare the ’Sanctuary Spa’ immediately. If you would all proceed to the eastern wing, I shall join you there shortly."

The ’eastern wing’ turned out to be a part of the manor we hadn’t explored yet. Ignis led us down a long hallway and into a room that took my breath away.

It was a massive, circular space with a domed ceiling painted like a twilight sky, complete with slowly drifting, glowing stars. In the center of the room was a large, heated pool filled with steaming, milky-white water that smelled of lavender and chamomile. Around the edges of the room were several plush, comfortable-looking lounge chairs and small tables.

"Welcome to the Sanctuary Spa," Ignis announced with a flourish. "I have taken the liberty of procuring a variety of spa treatments from the Celestial Market. Please, make yourselves comfortable."

The next few hours were a blur of blissful indulgence. We started with a soak in the mineral-rich pool, the warm water seeping into our muscles and melting away the last remnants of travel fatigue. Katrina practically purred the entire time, her body completely limp as she floated on her back.

After the soak, Ignis directed us to the lounge chairs, where he had laid out a selection of scented oils and lotions. "Now for the massages," he said, his voice taking on a professional, spa-therapist tone. "If you would all lie on your stomachs..."

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I wasn’t expecting what happened next. Ignis’s hands, usually so clumsy and slow, moved with a practiced, expert grace.

He found knots in my shoulders I didn’t even know I had, his firm pressure sending waves of relief through my body. I could hear the soft sighs and occasional moans from the girls as Ignis worked his magic on them as well.

The massage was followed by a facial, which involved a cool, tingling mask that made my skin feel incredibly smooth and refreshed. Then came the foot rub, which was so relaxing I nearly fell asleep.

By the time Ignis declared our spa day officially over, I felt like I was made of jelly. I was relaxed, content, and completely at peace. The four of us were lounging by the pool, wrapped in soft, fluffy robes, sipping on some kind of fruity, non-alcoholic cocktail Ignis had whipped up.

"This was amazing," Katrina sighed, her head resting on my shoulder. "I haven’t felt this relaxed in... ever."

"Agreed," Damara said, a rare, genuine smile on her face. "I may have to re-evaluate my opinion of your butler, Sam. He has hidden talents."

"He’s full of surprises," I said, taking a sip of my drink. The sweet, tropical flavor was a perfect end to a perfect day.

As the sun began to set, casting a warm, golden glow over the spa, I felt a sense of contentment settle over me. The decision about where to go next was still hanging over us, but it didn’t seem as daunting anymore. We were a team. A family. And together, we could handle anything.

The chime of the system notification echoed in my mind as the last of the light faded from the twilight sky on the ceiling.

[BONUS UNLOCKED: Harem Harmony - Your bond with your harem members has strengthened. New interactions and dialogue options may now be available.]

I smiled, leaning my head back against the soft cushion of the lounge chair. Tomorrow, we would make a decision about the future. But for tonight, there was only the quiet contentment of being home, and the comforting weight of my family beside me.
